Yep even though im slim! I need 2 tone up but i really cant be bothered, although i ride my ponies still cant be bothered to exercise properly i think its down to seeing all them celebs lookin good

yes. we had to weigh ourselves and do this skin fold test thing in biology yesterday and there is only 3 girls in my class including me and we didnt want to do it in front of all the boys! luckily our teacher is female so she said we could do it next lesson in a spare classroom! :) i would normally not mind but i havent really done any proper exercise (well not as much as i used to) since november as i badly injured my knee so i just didnt want to do it in front of everyone

I hate my weight i;ve just joined a gym to try and lose some and get toned up. But my problem is i'm a really fussy eater i only like certain types of food and Ved and fruit aint one of them

I hate my usual figure. I'm ok at the mo cause of my "condition" lol, but since I turned 20, I've gone from 8 stone on my wedding day to 10 stone and a buddah belly and massive backside. I used to be a size 8/10 and am now 14/16 (prior to pregnancy). I feel so self conscious is awful!

Yeah but I am 5ft 2in with skinny arms, skinny legs but with a huge backside and belly to go with it!! Completely untoned.....and my hubby (lovingly!!) says I look like an egg on legs, and thats when I am not pregnant!!

Mine rub together at the top!! When we went to Lanzarote last year, the reps asked me if I was able to join in the drinking game cause they all thought I was pregnant!! That really upset me.

I'm mostly down on my backside/thigh tops and my belly, although belly is now as it is for a reason, so not that bad. But I am determined to do exercises etc next year, once I have had this one, to try and get a bit toned up!

Well as i've said i've just joined a gym. A girl in my work is going with me so she will probably make me!! and not let me miss anything...only problem is my induction is at 6.45am on monday morning....think i'll make it????

I'm not overweight but I've been paranoid about my body shape right through my teens and into my early 20's, but no i've just got to the point of not caring, yes i'd look better if I was a few inches taller and my bum and tum were a bit smaller flatter etc. But I've got the same figure as my mum, and certain things I can do anything about without resorting to plastic surgery. But at the end of the day i'm happy and healthy which is the main thing. No i'm happy if I can look down and not see my stomach over my boobs. I havent got the time to do 4000 sit ups it would take to get a flat tum.

I also think people find confidence attractive and if someone is happy is quite appealing as well. Life's too short to worry about the size of your ass. As long as i'm not overweight I dont really care about the inevitable wobbly bits!!!

You're right, as long as your happy is the main thing - unfortunately, I'm not, but I'm also too much of a lazy cow to do anything about it (and I love my food too much!!)

I'm not overweight, just flabby and stretchy, but having babies does that to you. I just end up comparing myself to celebs who have just had babies and look fantastically gorgeous etc within a couple of weeks, which I think puts unfair pressure on us normal people!! My hubby likes me better with a bit of meat on me as he puts it!!

I am 5ft 9in. When I was a teenager (18 -20) I was totally obsessed with my weight. I went on the cambridge diet and had 300 cals a day. I was only 9 stone at that time and thought I was enormous.

By the time I was 22 to was making myself sick, and although I was never anorexic I was very slim and obsessed with my weight.

I actually blame my mother, although she doesn't know about this and it was 20 years ago. She was constantly 'on a diet' and obsessed about her weight and she used to make comments about my weight when really I was below the ideal for my height.

When I left home and moved to London I stopped making myself sick, and I stayed at around 9 stone 7 lb.

When I moved in with my boyfriend (now my husband, I put on a lot more weight, but I was healthy with it and although I am slightly overweight i would much rather be slightly overweight and healthy, than paranoid, sad and ill, which in retrospect is what I was.
The ideal for my height and build is really 10 1/2 stone. I have found that the only way to keep my weight at that level is to exercise, jogging mainly, and that works for me (as long as I keep off the chocolate!)

I went up to 14 stone when I was pregnant the second time, so I have had to loose a lot of weight, but dieting alone doesn't work for me, and it makes me feel bad about myself. I can remember not eating anything unless I knew what calories were in it and I am not going back to that.

Good on you for getting through it though, and not letting it get to the point of anorexia, although from the sounds of it, it was bad....:cheer:

I would like to get to 9 stone and get some fitness back aswell. I put on the weight after giving up the cigs and having Ciaran, so intend to do something about it this time, rather than just talk about it and stay sitting on my bum. I think going to the gym will also give me a break from the kids too, so it will all be good, I've just got to do it!!

im not overweight but cos i havent really done any exercise for the past 7 months cos of my knee i keep thinking things like am i getting fat. which is stupid as i dont think ive really put on any weight but im starting back doing all my sport and dancing now so i should feel better soon!

i'm not too bad at the i am between 8 1/2 and 9 stone ish and fit in a size 8 but i am only 5 ft 1 so if i get any heavier i will not be able to carry it i am lucky to have a small frame, i do loads or exercise i walk about 4-5 miles a day my job is like a gym workout running up and down stairs and loads of lifting

i can fit into a size 8 but cos im quite tall i always think that i weigh too much but i cant do if i fit into a size 8. would never go on one of them stupid crash diets though

Im 15, and about 5"11'- so very tall. I'm around a size 12, sometimes a 10 but i depends on what fit i want. Some people would say i'm too thin, but i dont think so. I eat what i want and walk it off going shopping ETC, so as long as i stay pretty healthy like this, then i dont really care what size clothes that makes me!

No you arent i find that too. I am usually a size 14 but depening what shops i go into i have to sometimes get a 16 or even an 18. I think the shops have all different standards in the messurments for sizes. The thing i find most difficult is dresses. I'm a 12 up top so if i buy a 12 it's too small down bottom and it i buy a 14 it's too big up top.

All sizes in different shops tend to differ - some I am a size 12 others a 16!!! I'm going to base things on my actual waist measurement etc, and when I start to try and get my figure back, base it on how many inches I have lost as opposed to weight. Toned muscle weighs more than fat (at least thats what my 16 stone hubby tells me!!! :lol: )

10 Stone is the average size for a lady so your considered thin, it doesn't matter about your aparrence really as they say it doesn't matter whats on the outside but whats on the inside

Atkins diet gets boring after a while all you can eat really is meat constantly and a few carbs per day

I hate celebs especially the ones that have babies and are back to a size 6 within 3 weeks!!

I will need to tone up though once this one has arrived. I really want to lose a stone ideally and get to 9stone and tone everything up....my sister in law has recently lost 2 stone and she looks fantastic, she is 50 and currently looks about 35!

When I dieted for my wedding I just made sure that I exercised (even if that was just a 1/2 hour brisk walk around the block!) and stuck to about 1500 calories per day. I also had a couple of the weight watchers meals etc - that worked for me. A lot depends on your own individual metabolism.

Slim fast is ok if you can handle the shakes and tasteless meals they have! i had the shakes nad they used to make me gag! they were ok at first but once i had them too often they tasted horrid.

wieght watchers is the best diet i found, it is so easy to count the points

yeah least youve managed to stop making yourself sick and it could be cause of that your stomach is like it and i agree if you like your body then you start to like myself but i hate my body

im really self concious! I need some of you to advise me about something, in my p.e lessons for this term im doing swimming, and im not the thinest of people, im not saying im fat either but i have really flabby legs and a jelly belly and im with all my mates who are really skinny and im so worried they'll all take one look at me in a swimming costume and just laugh! I hate my body, ive tried and tried to lose weight but it just wont budge! I mean, i do regular exercise and everything and i eat all the right things but it doesnt seem to help! What can i do? Please help me and give me advice! Thanks! x

i dont worry about my wieght im happy with the weight i am people keep teling me i should put some on! im trying keep fit and healthy now though ...going out for runs and doing sit ups you just have to remember you'll bennefit from it eventually

My stomach does that too.
Is it true that making yourself sick does that to you?
I'm not obssessed with purging but I wont not do it.
I tried today as it was a proper fat day but I couldn't.
It made me cry.
