A map book would be a good idea. My friend lives in Holland, and we always get lost in Brussels.

It is a very busy city. Don't forget to watch which way the traffic comes from, we were waiting for a bus, got the right bus stop in the right direction, but were looking the wrong way for the bus ( :rotfl: ).

Recommendation: Chocolate very good.

Oh and if you are a tea drinker, they can't make good tea over there, and you have to specify milk otherwise you'll get lemon.

You should have a good time, enjoy it. We do even if we do get lost.

ok thats not happening now cos some people that went last year said the market in bruge (sp?) wasnt very good and cos not many people were going it was going to cost £40-£50! so im trying to persuade my mum to take us to brussels just as a family!

oh bruge (sp) is brilliant at xmas i love it.

We either go to there or brussels

Hint - dont go anywhere near the American embassy - they dont like that lol

(Got lost and accidently stumbled across it - hundereds of police men appeared from nowhere lol)

i wanted to go but it was an organised trip for the staff and their families at the school my mum works at and they did it last year and we couldnt go as i was on crutches just out of hospital, and when i went into the school last week i saw a poster advertising it so my mum was going to book it up but she spoke to some people that went last year and they didnt like it and cos no one was really going this year it would have cost nearly £200 for my family to go so my mum didnt book it. i want to go to one though so hopefully ill try and persuade my mum to take us! *fingers crossed*
