was searching on google for a picture of her with staright hair and i found this article about a new role for tracy anne!
Tracy-Ann lands school cartoon role
Since she joined the cast of EastEnders last year, Tracy-Ann Oberman has been one of the show's most animated stars.
So it's rather fitting that the acclaimed actress, these days best known as the murderous minx Chrissie Watts, can be heard but not seen in an upcoming adult cartoon for Channel 4.
Bromwell High, which starts on Friday, July 8, follows the exploits of three teenage girls in a London secondary school.
Keisha Marie, Natella and Latrina appear alongside a maverick headmaster, and a group of desperate, overworked and underpaid teachers.
Also lending their dulcet tones to the proceedings are The Goodies veteran Graeme Garden, Celebrity Fame Academy crooner Gina Yashere and Smack the Pony's Doon Mackichan.
Tracy may have been an instant success in EastEnders, winning a National TV Award nomination at last year's ceremony, but even before joining the BBC serial, she was no stranger to soapland.
The London-born actress appeared in three instalments of Casualty in the late 1990s, cropped up in a couple of episodes of The Bill in 2000 and was spotted in Doctors in April last year.
Whether Bromwell High becomes as big a hit as The Simpsons remains to be seen but it does have a fine pedigree, coming from the Hat Trick stable, makers of Have I Got News For You and The Kumars at No 42.
Music trivia fans may care to note that the Anglo Canadian co-production was written by Richard Osman, brother of Suede veteran Mat Osman.

It's not strictly new, she filmed it a while ago but it's been very popular in Australia. She plays an Australian teacher (complete with accent!) called Mrs. Jackson.

I don't really know, I just know the first series is out on DVD over there because I was googling it the other day! I think it might be because of the TV channel that brought it. It should be really good! I love TAO's accent in ti! :D

I don't know ...filming for things like this only takes literally hours so you never know! They haven't even decided if they are filming a second series yet.

Apparently Tracey-Ann is one of the best on the show at doing different accent's.

The Yahoo news and IMDb say its 2005 so it should be on next week, unless they've just changed the schedule and they're putting it on a different time.

bondboffin That Bromwell High looks funny. A bit like South Park, lol. If you remember Tracy-Ann also used to be part of the Lenny Henry show posse a few years ago. She tended to play the mother of Lenny's son. And they were always competing against one another as they were divorced and he was visiting his son. So as well as an excellent actress she is also a great character actress too. I do fink so!!!! :lol:Also I was looking at the character names on the links website of bromwell high and I noticed one of them was called Carol Jackson. Coincidence or what?
I love those clips she sounds hilarious.

You can get a bigger picture of that instead of using Kayleigh's icon? I don't know whether you've got permission to post it here or not. - There isn't any press photos of her with perfectly straight hair although there was in Soaplife a good year ago now.
