Lee Carter and Whitney Dean's wedding is getting ever closer on EastEnders, but could Johnny pose a surprising threat to their big day?

These brand new pictures show Johnny (Ted Reilly) confront his brother on the eve of the wedding after discovering a secret that he's been hiding from Whitney.

We can't reveal what the secret is just yet (sorry!), but it's enough to have Johnny poking his nose in as he insists that Lee (Danny-Boy Hatchard) should tell Whitney the truth before they tie the knot.

Although Lee refuses to take orders from his little brother, Johnny stands firm and piles pressure on him to come clean.

It's good to see Johnny is actually being used rather than hovering about in the background. They are really adding a lot of layers to Whitney and Less relationship so it will be a more poignant departure for Lee.

Monday

It's Halloween on Albert Square and Whitney and Lee are in charge of the Queen Vic as Mick and Linda are away. Lee is nervous about the responsibility and it's not long before their day gets off to a bad start.

Later, things get even worse as Abi is still feeling guilty about giving Lee chlamydia and she puts her foot in it when speaking to him about it. Slipping up, what exactly will Abi say?

Meanwhile, Claudette tries to make peace with Patrick after last week's tension, but she gets frustrated when he's more worried about Dot, who hasn't turned up to meet him for a drink as planned.

When Patrick confronts Dot, she brushes off his concerns by insisting that she just hates Halloween. However, Patrick realises she isn't telling him the full story.

Elsewhere, an under-pressure Belinda asks Neville for more money, but it may already be too late when bailiffs arrive at the salon.

Also today, Sharon finds Phil sorting out his will with Ritchie - which leads to a shocking revelation.

Tuesday

Whitney is left speechless.

Meanwhile, Mick and Linda reveal a surprise for Whitney and Lee.

Elsewhere, Claudette is still trying to get things on track with Patrick by preparing for a lunch date with him, but he once again puts Dot first. Claudette waits for him at the restaurant, but when she finds out he's with Dot at the café, she storms over and gives them a piece of her mind.

Elsewhere, the drama for the Mitchells continues when Ben visits Phil and tricks him into revealing what's going on. Kathy tries to get involved by giving Phil and Sharon some home truths, but Ben warns her to stay out of it.

Also today, Belinda and Masood bond as he continues to help her with the business.

Thursday

With just one day to go before the wedding, things still aren't going too well for Whitney and Lee. Whitney is frustrated when things keep going wrong, while Lee is also unhappy when Johnny uncovers a secret that he's been hiding.

Johnny insists that Lee should tell Whitney the truth, but when he refuses, Johnny stands firm. When Lee reluctantly agrees to head over to see Whitney at Stacey's place, will he bite the bullet and come clean?

Meanwhile, it's the day of Ben's psychological assessment, but he is still adamant that Kathy shouldn't be involved. How will it all go for him?

Elsewhere, Kim takes her theory test.

Also today, the romantic spark between Belinda and Masood grows as they try to get the salon back on track.

Friday

Whitney and Lee's wedding day has finally arrived and Ryan arrives back in Walford to surprise his sister.

Spirits also run high for most when Lee exits the Queen Vic to rapturous cheers, but he seems overwhelmed by the attention.

With Lee still struggling to believe in himself, will the big day go according to plan?

Patsy Palmer moved to Los Angeles, I think. Doubt they bring her back just for a couple of days filming

It will be interesting to see what excuse they come up with (if any) if Bianca doesn't attend the wedding. Too far from Milton Keynes???

I think Tuesdays episode maybe the one where Claudette departs. She's supposed to be downgraded to a recurring character so I'm not expecting a big edit for her.

The Masood/Belinda fling is a bit bizarre. I wouldn't have put them two together. I wonder if she is the reason he leaves again?

Whitney came back early from Bianca's after her miscarriage so maybe Bianca does not approve of her marrying Lee, he did cheat and give her chlamydia

EastEnders has brought back two familiar faces ahead of Whitney Dean's wedding.

Maisie Smith and Devon Higgs have reprised their roles as Tiffany and Morgan Butcher, who are back on Albert Square to see their sister tie the knot with Lee Carter.

EastEnders bosses didn't announce that Tiffany and Morgan would be back ahead of Thursday night's episode, even keeping their names out of cast lists and spoilers.

We'll also see them again tomorrow for the wedding ceremony itself, although the big question is whether Whitney and Lee will actually make it down the aisle to exchange their vows.

Tiffany and Morgan's first scene back saw them join Whitney at the Queen Vic, where they also reacquainted themselves with Johnny Carter.

"You're a lot bigger than last time I saw you," Johnny pointed out.

Tiff replied: "Time passes, people grow, not that hard to understand."

We think Tiff just pre-empted the next load of "You won't believe what she looks like now" articles...

It wasn't all fun times though, as Tiffany and Morgan had to break the news that their mum Bianca isn't well and may not be able to make the wedding tomorrow. Good to get the excuses in early!

Tiffany and Morgan last appeared on EastEnders in 2014. And when we interviewed Maisie Smith last week, she was a true professional by not giving anything away about her surprise return.

Reflecting on her time on EastEnders, she said: "I just remember me being my cheeky self and causing so much mischief around the Square.

"I always found it so funny watching myself back. I think I just made the show more lively and wild, because I was such a cheeky character. I just remember running around the Square having fun."

EastEnders airs the wedding on Friday (November 4) at 8pm on BBC One.

It's really nice to see Tiffany and Morgan again. As long as Bianca stays away I'm happy! :D
