Meanwhile, Hollyoaks welcomes back Nana McQueen later this month as she finally reunites with her family in the village.

Nana (Diane Langton) did a disappearing act late last year, unable to cope with the disturbing revelation that Pete Buchanan had been abusing Cleo.

Myra (Nicole Barber-Lane) can't believe her eyes when Nana turns up on the doorstep unexpectedly, but the timing couldn't be better as she's struggling badly following Diego's arrest.

Glad to have someone to confide in, Myra tells her mum that she's worried about being a single parent again with Diego now locked away.

Myra decides it's time to kick off a fresh start by joining a dating app, but she doesn't do the best impression of someone who's moving on when her first date is a Diego lookalike!

Finally facing up to her feelings following some encouragement from Nana, Myra goes to visit Diego in prison but is surprised to find Cassandra - one of his ex-wives - already there. Could there still be hope for Myra and Diego, or has too much hurt been caused?

Hollyoaks airs these scenes on Monday, October 24 and Tuesday, October 25 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Monday

Myra is stunned when Nana McQueen turns up on the doorstep.

Myra confides in her mum that she's worried about being a single parent again and decides to join a dating app.

Meanwhile, Alfie tries to come to terms with Jade's death.

Elsewhere, Mac finds out Neeta is suing him, but he's more furious when he discovers that James is helping her. With no-one on his side - including Marnie - James finally stands up for himself and punches Mac, but Nathan sees and orders James to stay away from them.



Tuesday

John Paul can tell James is masking his true hurt about being rejected by his family.

After speaking to Lisa, Nathan decides to hear James's side of the story, but will James open up?

Meanwhile, Myra goes on a date and is spied on by Nana and Celine. However, Myra's date looks just like Diego. She goes to visit Diego in prison but another woman is already there – Cassandra.

Elsewhere, it's a tough day for Sonia when someone from her past appears.


Wednesday

Marnie is appalled at the accusation when Nathan asks whether Mac ever used to 'discipline' them when they were kids.

Later, James takes another man home to spite John Paul – sick of his meddling.

Meanwhile, Peri is flabbergasted when Nico suggests they get their own place together. They're both feeling guilty about Maxine and bump into her outside the hospital. However, Peri can't handle the guilt and rushes off.

Elsewhere, Lisa and Sonia have a strained conversation in the village, which ends up with Lisa sprawled on the floor after a fight. Simone admits to Lisa that Sonia is the daughter she wants, not her.

Thursday

Lisa notices that her mum is drunk. Although Lisa tries to stop Simone from getting in the car, she doesn't listen.

Later, Louis is worried about where Simone has got to.

Meanwhile, James tries to apologise to John Paul about last night. John Paul suggests that James should get some counselling.

Elsewhere, Peri finds herself in an awkward position when Maxine asks for her help.

Friday

Cindy asks Jude whether she can work with her again and persuades Tony to do the catering for Jude's Halloween event.

Cindy later goes to Jude's show-home to take some promotional pictures and is confused when confronted with the man who lives there.

Meanwhile, Cameron and Leela search for Peri when they realise she didn't come home last night. They panic when they find a search page for ferry tickets to Calais.

Elsewhere, Mercedes walks in on a happy family scene with Joe, Joanne and JJ. She's hurt when JJ calls Joanne 'mummy', while Joanne revels in her misery. However, Joe finds out what Joanne is really like from Louis.
