Hollyoaks Spoilers 17th -21st October 2016

Coming up on Hollyoaks, there's further devastation ahead for Jade Albright and her loved ones when her health takes another turn for the worst.

Jade (Kassius Nelson) has been rocked by the news that her latest bout of chemotherapy hasn't worked, and while there's still hope for her to make a recovery, she's currently focused on enjoying every last second with her boyfriend Alfie Nightingale.

The loved-up pair continue to cross more milestones off their bucket list later this month as they're thrilled when Alfie's pet lizard lays eggs, giving them the opportunity to be 'grandparents' for the first time.

They also decide to celebrate their 'golden wedding anniversary' too and are later delighted when they learn that they've discovered a new comet in the sky, which they call 'Jalfie'.

Later though, Jade's health takes another downturn and the only thing she's strong enough to do is daydream with Alfie that they're taking a romantic trip to Southport together.

The imaginary visit is complete with a walk along the beach and a fun ride on the carousel, but will reality hit once the daydream is over?

Monday

Peri and Nico are concerned to hear their prank on Cameron has taken an unexpected turn.

At the same time, Adam and Warren battle to support Maxine when she wakes up in hospital. Later, Warren overhears Nico talking about the incident.

Meanwhile, Alfie wants to keep his recent cancer news from Jade while she's still having treatment.

Elsewhere, Celine urges Cleo to do something about her feelings for Nathan today.

Also today, Mercedes is floored when she finds out the drugs that were planted in her bag on her hen do weren't what they seemed. At the same time, Joanne smashes her own tail light and takes her car to the garage. Joe agrees to go for a drink with her as mates. However, they're confronted by Mercedes, who accuses Joanne of sabotage.


Tuesday

Nico is horrified when Warren reveals how he's going to get revenge. Nico warns Maxine and they both rush to stop him.

Meanwhile, after worrying that Barry was ill, Alfie is stunned when his bearded dragon lays eggs. He and Jade celebrate being grandparents.

Elsewhere, Mercedes is on a mission to get her man back, but Joanne has her own bag of tricks.

Also today, Celine tells Cleo to draft an email to Nathan telling him how she feels, with no intention of actually sending it. After Cleo empties her heart over two pages, Celine cheekily sends the email to Nathan.


Wednesday

Mercedes texts Joanne from Joe's phone, asking her to meet at the garage.

Joanne later shows Joe a cut on her face and accuses Mercedes of being responsible.

Meanwhile, Celine remembers that she drunkenly sent Cleo's email to Nathan. She creates a diversion in the pub while Cleo sneaks up to the flat to try to delete it from Nathan's laptop.

Elsewhere, Alfie and Jade are planning a golden wedding anniversary party to tick off their married couple bucket list, but tensions are high in the Osborne house.


Thursday

Jade has taken a turn for the worst and Frankie blames Alfie for having the party, leaving him feeling guilty.

Meanwhile, Nathan asks Cleo to meet him.

Elsewhere, Mercedes fumes when she receives an injunction from Joe. Myra asks Joe to let Mercedes at least see the kids.

Also today, Jude and Cindy see how much Tom needs his sisters around and they spend the day reminiscing together.


Friday

Alfie receives a letter and races to show Jade. He manages to cheer her up by showing her the letter, which confirms that they did discover a new comet and they call it Jalfie.

Later, Jade and Alfie use their imaginations to go to Southport.

At the end of a fun-packed imaginary day, Jade and Alfie sit on the beach staring out to sea. They snuggle under a blanket and watch their comet fly above them.
