Jack admits to Amy he has doubts about his choice. With Toadie´s assitance Brad is planning to repropose the right way - with a ring, a romantic setting, flowers and music.


Thursday

Brad and Lauren put their future on the line. Ben and Xanthe forge a tentative reconnection. Jack helps a young girl discover her super powers. Xanthe is trapped - by a SNAKE!


Friday

Xanthe is trapped in the shed with a snake and with every second that passes keeping her from her date with Ben. Will Ben and Xanthe ever get it together?

I've heard of divorce parties before - although I think they're usually only held by one member of the former couple. Brad and Terese holding a joint divorce party is certainly unusual - but then so is Terese's unlikely continuing friendship with both Brad and Lauren...

I think Madison has just been put in the programme to launch a career outside of the programme .... just seems a bit finally well tuned fashion wise to be normal - clothes like she has been wearing don't come cheap !

Neighbours brings back a dead character next week – but don't worry, it's not another Mark Brennan situation.

Josef Brown has briefly reprised his role as Matt Turner, who appears back on our screens when his wife Lauren starts having very vivid dreams about him.

So vivid, in fact, that we see every second for ourselves.

Lauren (Kate Kendall) finds herself haunted by Matt in her sleep after her current partner Brad Willis pops the question to her.

She turns down the proposal and announces that she doesn't want to get married again, but when an upset Brad takes off and Lauren goes to sleep, Matt makes his reappearance.

Neighbours' Lauren Turner is swept off her feet – literally – later this month as her partner Brad Willis pops the question.

Lauren (Kate Kendall) initially turns Brad down when he makes the spontaneous decision to propose after hosting a divorce party with his ex-wife Terese.

While it seems like that's the end of the matter, Lauren later starts to change her mind – and it seems like she's in luck as Brad (Kip Gamblin) makes plans for a much more romantic second proposal.

Brad goes all-out by organising a ring, a beautiful setting, flowers and music. And not just any music, as British singer Jamie Lawson makes his guest appearance for the touching moment.

What's even more surprising is that Brad's son Ned plays a role in getting the pair back on track when he returns to Ramsay Street, wanting to make amends for kissing Lauren last time.

Lauren is so impressed by Brad's second proposal that she accepts on the spot, but is there more trouble brewing when we see that Ned is keeping a lock of blonde hair in his wallet? Could it mean that he's still harbouring feelings for Lauren?

Neighbours announced that 'Wasn't Expecting That' singer Jamie would make a guest appearance way back in April, but details of the storyline had been kept under wraps.

Speaking at the time, Lawson commented: "I've watched Neighbours for years and have always been a fan of Toadie – and Stefan Dennis is a legend, a larger-than-life character."

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, August 11 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.

Monday

Everyone is gearing up for Brad and Terese's divorce party - including Piper, who's planning revenge on Paige and Tyler. Under the guise of wanting to repair their friendship, she approaches Tyler and implores him to come to the party. Convinced she has no idea of his second tryst with Paige, Tyler agrees.

Later, the party is in full swing when Piper plays her "family slideshow" for the guests: CCTV footage of Paige and Tyler having sex in the garage. The guests reel and Piper and Tyler are humiliated.

Meanwhile, Brad is taken by the urge to pop the question to Lauren, but what will she say?

Elsewhere, Karl and Susan remain at odds after their blow-up at the hospital. When Karl airs his positive opinion of the divorce party, Susan suggests he start planning theirs. Later, Karl expresses that Susan's throwaway comment about divorce frightened him - the times they've spent divorced were the worst times of his life and he never wants to experience it again. Can the couple get back on track?

Also today, Paul sneaks up to the empty penthouse to search for Terese's business strategy. Coming up empty, his frustration turns to alarm when someone enters the penthouse, forcing him to hide. Deducing that a fellow intruder is afoot, Paul flicks on the lights to reveal Gary. He's holding the strategy file he presented to Paul, but it's noticeably thicker - containing all the pertinent documents he'd removed. How is Gary going to explain this one?


Tuesday

Brad waits for Lauren's response to his proposal and is devastated when she says no. She explains that she loves him but doesn't want to get married again. An upset Brad takes off while Lauren goes to sleep – dreaming of Matt, her dead husband.

Late that night, Lauren is in the house alone when she receives a mystery visitor. Who is it?

Meanwhile, Paul finishes copying Terese's plans and tells Gary he will decide what to do with him later. Gary bumps into Terese fleeing the apartment, he asks her out on a date as a cover story. He's expecting a rejection, but Terese's ego is bruised following the proposal and she accepts. Later, Paul tells Gary that he's going to use the information in Terese's file to destroy her - and Gary will be his number one foot soldier.

Elsewhere, Piper tries to apologise for her actions to Jack and Paige.

Also today, Jack gives his blessing to Paige and Tyler – but is secretly devastated to see Paige moving on.


Wednesday

Taken by surprise over Ned's return, Lauren is anxious to make sure that he doesn't rock the boat when she and Brad are still out of kilter about the wedding proposal. She tells Ned that this isn't the right time for him to make his presence known, so he heads off to stay at the motel and Lauren promises to prepare Brad for his return the next day.

However, Brad has a mission of his own the next day. With Toadie's assistance, he's planning to re-propose the right way, so he goes out before Lauren has a chance to talk to him.

Later, following advice from Steph, Lauren meets up with Ned to ask him to give her and Brad another night to reconnect before he comes to speak to his dad. She tells him about Brad's proposal and her turning it down, but adds that she now plans to change her mind and say yes.

Ned congratulates Lauren and they share a warm hug, but it's witnessed by Brad, who's just been informed by an awkward Toadie that he's seen Ned with Lauren. Brad reels at what he sees. Ned is back and Lauren has kept it from him. What does this mean?

Meanwhile, Jack is still regretting his hasty decision to give Tyler his blessing to be with Paige. He tells Amy that he thinks God sent Paige to test him. Amy can't help but feel protective of her tortured friend. They grow even closer as she listens to his doubts about himself as a priest and helps him out with a young parishioner with cystic fibrosis.

Elsewhere, following advice from Lauren, Paige makes Tyler promise no one's going to get hurt if they mix their new boxing-training regimen with a few "benefits".


Thursday

Brad struggles to deal with the news that Lauren kept Ned's return from him. Once he also learns that she dreamt about Matt after he proposed to her, old insecurities crowd in on Brad and he abandons his plan to propose again.

Ned plays the unexpected role of matchmaker, assuring Brad that he has no more feelings for Lauren and the two of them can work this out. When Brad proposes again and an overjoyed Lauren accepts, we see that Ned is keeping a lock of blonde hair in his wallet. What does this mean?

Meanwhile, with Jack's prompting, the community comes together to create a superhero day for Poppy. Jack's intention is to show Poppy just how strong she really is, but in the course of drawing everyone together, he realises that he is in fact doing God's work. Pushing down his feelings for Paige, Jack takes comfort in his choice to recommit to the church.

Elsewhere, Xanthe offers to make Ben's superhero costume and the star-crossed young lovers are thrown together. While neither is ready to admit their true feelings, it's clear that they're yearning to be together and Xanthe is secretly thrilled when she sets up a date for Ben. But fate intervenes again - Xanthe is trapped in the shed by the snake. She's going to miss her date with Ben, but right now, that's the least of her troubles.


Friday

Trapped in the shed by the snake, Xanthe calls out for help and tries to free herself, but it only serves to antagonise the animal. Afraid for her life, she also knows that every second that ticks by keeps her from her date with Ben.

When Piper lucks into finding Xanthe, she quickly grasps the gravity of the situation and is about to attempt to save Xanthe herself, when Clementine the cat jumps into the fray and chases the snake away.

Back to safety, Xanthe is frustrated to learn that Ben has gone out, seemingly without a concern for her. She has to get to her film project rehearsal, and it's there that she gets a horrible punch in the heart when she catches him kissing Alison...

Meanwhile, Terese is excited to have Madison back and excitedly shares her news - she's snagged Solomon Canter to be the chef for Lassiters. However, things go wrong when Solomon Canter cancels their first meeting. Terese is driven to distraction, until she learns that he's decided to work for Paul. Confronting him, Terese assures a smug Paul he hasn't got the best of her, but the sexual tension between them is undeniable. Will it continue to throw her off her game?

The Brad Lauren hook up still doesn't ring true for a happy ending ..... she was just a casual hook up all those years ago .... so to keep trying to change the story line (thinking viewers are too thick to notice) is really lazy writing. Just cos Paige came out of the sex, it doesn't mean they were destined to be one big happy family. In fact, that Lauren has lost her entire family to be with Brad and Paige is very shallow indeed.

Brad and Lauren put their future on the line. Ben and Xanthe forge a tentative reconnection. Jack helps a young girl discover her super powers. Xanthe is trapped - by the snake!

Friday 12th August 2016 - Episode 7430
Piper saves Xanthe from a snake and they reconcile. Ben breaks Xanthe's heart. Paul uses Terese's own business plan against her.

Piper is a good little actress. Her crying scene was very believable.

Tyler doesn't really love Piper - if he did he'd stick by her no matter what. Piper deserves a guy who is as passionate about her as she is about him. Like Ben with Xanthe. Tyler is an insensitive jerk at the moment.

I think both sisters are as selfish and unlikable as each other. I don't blame Piper for wanting revenge but ruining her parents' party was unforgivable.

I've also got no time for creepy Tyler - a grown man supposedly in "love" with a schoolgirl. I'm going to be tempted to stop watching if they get him together with Piper after all (even after she's watched a video of him having sex with her sister). :wall: :sick: :thumbsdow

I really don't like the story line with Jack and Paige ..... I can understand the sexual frustration, young man like that ..... but he would end up really regretting a life with Paige in the long term. She is far too shallow and self-centred for a life of helping others if Jack left the Priesthood for her. He would have to find some job with a community background as a substitute career or it would drive him nuts to sacrifice such a commitment for a role he would find difficult to commit to.

The story line seems to give Paige a more understanding role as to why Jack follows this path from other spoilers .... but I find it totally pathetic at the moment... its getting to the point I have stopped watching the scenes with Paige in.

Paige is getting what she wants as usual ... no matter who she hurts .... setting up Brad and Lauren (and driving her half siblings away) for her own happy family (yeah right !!! I don't think) ..... teasing Jack with other hookups (there's a word for that .... she been round the block a bit already with most of the street) ... painting Terese as the bad guy and slagging her off when she first arrived to split that family up .... lying (or major exaggeration of the truth in a distorted way) ... dumping on the siblings that are left no matter of the consequences .... I really do think Brads gene pool leaves a lot to be desired .... and that includes Piper and Ned .... wonder how many more are out there ....
