EastEnders could be about to reveal one of its longest-running secrets of the year, as Whitney Dean confronts Lee Carter and Abi Branning about their secretive behaviour.

Lee and Abi slept together way back in February, but they've so far managed to keep Whitney (Shona McGarty) completely in the dark about what happened between them.

With Whitney now expecting Lee's baby, upcoming episodes will see her receive a devastating setback when she's diagnosed with chlamydia after a medical check-up.

Believing that her own troubled past is to blame for the diagnosis, Whitney grows paranoid about what Lee's family think of her - but it doesn't take too long for her to realise that there's actually much more to this story.

When Whitney starts to put two and two together and confronts Lee (Danny-Boy Hatchard) and Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald), will the truth about the one-night stand finally come out?

Whitney worries about what the Carters think of her following the news that she has chlamydia. At the same time, the pressure mounts for Abi when Babe overhears her talking to Lauren about how she gave Lee chlamydia.

Starting to realise that something is amiss, Whitney soon confronts Lee and Abi about really what's going on. Will the truth about their one-night stand finally be revealed?

Meanwhile, Denise attends the opening of Belinda's pop-up salon with Carmel and Kim, but she grows uncomfortable when the topic of Kush and his mystery woman comes up. Later, Denise confronts Kush over his feelings for her, but they are interrupted by Vincent who realises what's going on.

Elsewhere, Andy starts his work helping Ronnie and plans to take the children to the zoo. At the same time, Roxy confides in Ronnie about how things didn't work out with Andy. She refuses to reveal more, but Ronnie can tell there is more to the story. When Roxy shows Ronnie a letter that has arrived that morning, what does it say?

Also today, Shirley tells Kathy that Ben is missing, but Phil refuses to let the Beales get involved. As Kathy contemplates calling the police, Sharon arrives.


Tuesday

Ronnie starts to worry about Andy and the children's whereabouts. They eventually return, but Ronnie remains suspicious of Andy's behaviour and finally realises all isn't as it seems.

When Ronnie seeks answers from Kyle, he hides his own unease and tries to stand up for Andy. However, he soon crumbles and also tells Ronnie about the folder with the pictures that he found. After making another unsettling discovery, Ronnie realises who Andy really is.

Meanwhile, Denise insists to Vincent that Kush is just a friend.

Elsewhere, Vincent reaches out to Claudette and invites her for dinner.

Also today, after Phil fills Sharon in on Ben's disappearance, Sharon is worried about Ben and takes control. She tells an uneasy Ian what they need to do, but what does she have in mind?


Thursday

Ronnie phones Andy and is determined to get to the truth about him, but is she putting herself in danger when they meet up?

Meanwhile, Phil's condition is growing worse. Sharon gets frustrated and tells him that she'll find Ben, before sending a desperate message to Grant. Sharon assures Kathy that everything is under control and then confides in Jane about her plan. Not long afterwards, Sharon receives a message from Grant and goes to meet him, but she gets a shock.

Elsewhere, when a stressed Kim prepares a family dinner, Donna soon realises just how nervous Claudette is.

Also today, Jane struggles to come to terms with her new life after returning home. How will she feel when Ian shows her the specially-adapted bedroom?


Friday

Sharon comes face-to-face with Grant once more, but how will the pair react to seeing each other?

Meanwhile, Claudette arrives at the Hubbard house for dinner. Vincent is impressed that she has turned over a new leaf and gives her another chance. Later, however, Claudette pays a visit to Pam and hears that Babe is the blackmailer. Can Claudette keep her word to Vincent?

Elsewhere, Belinda signs the full lease on her salon.
