EastEnders fans will meet Paul Coker's mother Jenny Rawlinson for the first time later this month.
Actress Amy Marston has been cast in the role of Jenny, who turns up on Albert Square unexpectedly and gets a very frosty response from Pam.
Jenny's arrival comes just as the Cokers are reaching breaking point over Les's cross-dressing secret, especially when Billy Mitchell struggles to come to terms with seeing him dressed as his female alter ego Christine.
Feeling totally hopeless, Pam tells Les that they should just move away from Walford and leave their troubles behind. As they seriously consider the idea, it's even decided that Paul and Ben can take over the funeral business in their absence.
Just when everything seems settled, though, Pam (Lin Blakley) is shaken by a whole new drama when Jenny suddenly appears without warning.

Reacting badly, Pam immediately orders Jenny to leave again - but getting rid of her proves much more difficult than she expected.
Heading off to see Paul at the market stall, a defiant Jenny chats away to him even though he's totally oblivious to her true identity.

This sneaky conversation allows Jenny to ascertain that Pam has lied to Paul about why she isn't in his life, so she then heads straight back to Pam to confront her about the deception.
When Paul follows and spots the commotion, will he finally realise who Jenny is? And could this be a secret too far for the Coker clan?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, July 12 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
