View Full Version : EastEnders Spoilers 4th - 8th July 2016
EastEnders gives Peggy Mitchell a touching final send-off next month as the day of her funeral finally arrives.
The Walford legend took her own life last month, but the Mitchells were unable to organise her last farewell until the authorities were ready to release her body.
Peggy's daughter Sam returns from Portugal for the service, but she surprises the rest of the family with the news that Grant won't be coming.
As the Mitchells get ready to leave for the church, Sharon is full of concern for Phil as he is still struggling to write the eulogy.
The final preparations are also interrupted when Sharon's aunt Margaret Midhurst arrives unexpectedly, explaining that Gavin has been acting strangely.
With her priorities focused entirely on the Mitchells, Sharon quickly sends Margaret away - but with emotions running high, will everything go to plan at the church?

EastEnders returnee Sam Mitchell could make a shocking decision next week, as she contemplates leaving her young son Richard in Walford without her.
Upcoming scenes will see Sam (Danniella Westbrook) return to Albert Square ahead of Peggy's funeral, with Richard in tow. However, her return shocks Jack, who fathered the youngster back in 2010 but hasn't seen him since.
Although Jack initially struggles with having Richard on his doorstep, he later makes arrangements with Sam to meet him properly.
Unfortunately, the day gets off to a bad start when Jack struggles to make a connection with his son, but after learning that Richard loves animals, he soon comes up with an idea.

While Jack determined to build a relationship with his estranged child, concerns grow for a wayward Sam. When she gets drunk at Peggy's wake, Phil grows particularly irritated by Sam's behaviour.
Sam storms out after Phil confronts his sister about her drunken behaviour, but he's given food for thought when Ben sensibly points out that there is more to it.
With Sam planning to head back home following the funeral, Roxy spots her cousin with her luggage and encourages her to open up.
As the pair have a heart-to-heart, Sam admits that she's struggling to be a single mum and is going back to Portugal without Richard, but can Roxy persuade her not to go? Or will Sam leave Richard with Jack?

Monday
The day of Peggy's funeral has arrived. As the family get ready for the service, Sharon grows concerned about Phil as he is struggling to write the eulogy.
Sharon's own preparations are also interrupted when Margaret arrives to say that Gavin has been acting strangely. Keen for her priorities to stay with the Mitchells today, Sharon sends her away.
Later, Peggy's funeral begins. With emotions running high, will all go to plan?
Meanwhile, Jack struggles having Richard in the Square, but later makes arrangements with Sam to meet him properly.
Elsewhere, Buster fears Kathy is avoiding him, but they later share a kiss at the Beale house.
Tuesday
Buster and Kathy arrange to go somewhere out of the Square after almost being caught kissing by Ian, but Buster is frustrated when Kathy fails to show up.
At the same time, Kathy makes her way to the tube station, but is stunned when Gavin approaches her and tells her that he has Dennis. This leaves Kathy with no option but to get into the car with him.
As Gavin takes Kathy away, it doesn't take her long to realise that he has a new shocking plan in mind, but just how far is Gavin prepared to go to get what he wants?
Margaret soon arrives to reason with Gavin, but as the severity of the situation hits Kathy, it's apparent that she is in great danger...
Meanwhile, Sharon is fuming to discover Dennis has been in contact with Gavin and later gets a shock when a panicked Buster says that he saw Gavin and Kathy driving off together.
Elsewhere, Sam drops Richard off with Jack, but he struggles to make a connection with his son. However, after learning that Richard loves animals, he soon comes up with an idea.
Also, Peggy's wake continues at The Vic. Linda confronts Shirley about her feelings for Phil, but she insists she is with Buster now. Phil also grows irritated by Sam's behaviour.
Friday
Sharon and Buster find themselves caught up in the commotion with Gavin, leaving them all in grave danger.
Meanwhile, Phil starts to wonder about Sharon's whereabouts, but his mind turns elsewhere when he confronts Sam about her drunken behaviour. After Sam storms out, Ben points out that something is going on, giving Phil food for thought.
Later, Roxy spots Sam with her luggage and encourages her to open up. Sam admits that she's struggling to be a mum and is going back to Portugal without Richard, but can Roxy persuade her not to go?
