I'm disappointed in Walter. I really thought he came back just for Sonya.

I can appreciate that it will hurt, but with all the cheating he's taken part in...it's a tiny taste of karma for him...
Plus, it was one sided and she had, sort of justified reasons for keeping it a secret. I still wish he was with Terese, so I'm enjoying this lil bit of karma he's facing :p

Yes, Lauren had reasons for keeping the secret. Brad thought it was ok to keep Terese's secret too.

Brad's not owning his dishonesty. Lauren should have been honest about the kiss but she was trying to protect Brad. Tell him about the kiss and break his new bond with Ned or put her relationship at risk by keeping the secret Ned begged her not to tell. Either way she was in a difficult position and one of them was bound to feel hurt.

Monday

Haunted by his now-vivid memories of being in the boiler room at Lassiters, John tells Paige that he's not up to helping out today at Harold's. Paige is concerned for his wellbeing and tracks down Megan, the woman John saw driving the van with the company logo he recognised. Believing that John has already talked to Megan, Paige begs her to think again about where she might know John from. Megan tells her that she has no idea what she's talking about - she's never seen or heard from John in her life.

Puzzled, Paige confronts John about his duplicity, but he is tortured by his memories and tells Paige to stay out of it. Paige refuses, questioning why he doesn't understand why she's so determined to help him. Fearing there's an "I love you" coming, John insists Paige has to forget about him. Knowing his words have hurt Paige, John later apologises and he finally explains what's troubling him. He admits to Paige that he thinks he was responsible for the explosion at Lassiters…

Meanwhile, Ned works on fixing the broken dishwashers at Harold's and can't help but voice his adoration for Lauren while they're working together. Watching on, Tyler clocks Lauren's awkwardness and tension. He later asks Ned if Lauren is the older woman he likes, and is horrified when Ned confirms that she is. Ned begs Tyler not to say anything to Piper - after all, it's not like his infatuation is going to go anywhere.

Ned later tells Lauren that he's going to move out from the house and also reveals that he's spoken to Tyler about what's going on. Lauren is appalled - this means she's going to have to tell Brad what happened, for fear of the information being leaked. They're arguing about it when Piper overhears them talking about the kiss...

Elsewhere, Sonya is troubled by the text message she found on Walter's phone and shares her concerns with Toadie, who suggests they do some further digging into the background of Roxanne, Walter's ex-wife. Having made some enquiries, Toadie reveals that Roxanne has a daughter, who's 14. Sonya is astounded - does this mean the girl is her half sister?

The pair confront Walter, who confirms that Zoe is his daughter and Sonya's half sister. He then drops the bombshell that Zoe is sick. She has leukaemia and needs a bone marrow transplant. Toadie twigs as to what's going on here - Walter has come to town to ask Sonya if she'll help.

Tuesday

After overhearing Ned and Lauren discuss their kiss, a shocked Piper insists on Brad knowing. Ned accepts the blame entirely and a devastated Brad abruptly exits. Lauren speaks to Steph, who advises clinging to the one positive - yes, she kept the kiss secret but at least Brad knows it was completely one-sided. This is cold comfort to Lauren, who feels she may have encouraged Ned's affections by treating him as a confidant.

Later, Brad struggles to deal with the fact that Lauren kept the kiss a secret from him. Lauren insists that she was trying to protect Brad's bond with Ned, but Brad points out that the bond is broken now. Desperate to repair her relationship, Lauren tells Ned that he has to move out immediately.

Meanwhile, Tyler calls in on Piper and finds her venting her hurt over the situation into a scathing vlog post. As he comforts her, their unresolved sexual tension looks likely to erupt into a kiss of their own…

Elsewhere, Paul's reputation catches up with him when a fellow inmate, Squeak McCann, warns him that he's a target - then tries to wheedle protection money out of him. Paul realises the threat is real when he is not served lunch by the other inmates, so he calls Steph in for a visit. He tells her that he has to renege on his offer of handing over his share of the motel - he needs to monetise it to pay for protection in prison. Steph refuses to spare him any money.

Later in the yard, a throng of inmates descend on Paul but as he prepares for the inevitable blows to be dealt, a familiar face comes to his aid - Gary Canning.

Also today, Paige clings on to one last thing that Mark claims exonerates John - an alibi called Wendy Leung. Paige organises a meeting with Wendy, who insists she met and had eyes on John between 10 and 10.30am on the morning of the explosion, the time the boiler was sabotaged. John's worries are barely assuaged by this, despite Paige's insistence that he now completely dismiss his hunch. But as Wendy heads off, her face is painted with guilt...

Wednesday

Lauren's request for Ned to move out angers Brad, pushing him to suggest that he might move out as well. The ultimatum is driven by his hurt over Lauren's behaviour as much as Ned's. When Terese learns of the threat, she takes a surprising stance, telling Brad to forgive Lauren and Ned. She points out that he's already lost one son and shouldn't lose another.

With Terese's words in his ears, Brad has an open and honest talk with Ned, finally hearing the pain and anger that his son held towards him. It's a breakthrough for father and son, even as Ned reveals that he still has feelings for Lauren and that's why he has to go. Brad accepts this and after Ned goes, he tells Lauren that he's forgiven her. But has he really?

Meanwhile, Piper and Tyler both acknowledge that their behaviour can't be classified as that of mates and it's important that they not cross the line again. But even in making that commitment they find themselves physically drawn to each other, a moment that's broken when Tyler gets news of Ned leaving.

Elsewhere, Paul pleads with Gary Canning to protect him. However, Gary has his own issues and is reluctant to help Paul again, even when Paul offers to feed him information about his family. In desperation, Paul calls Sheila and says that Gary wants to see her. Sheila knows Paul is conning her, but is curious enough to visit Gary.

When Paul presses him again to protect him, Gary's answer is ambiguous, but Paul assumes they have an agreement. Later, while Paul is under threat from another inmate, Gary reveals to Paul that he's mistaken. He has no intention of helping him. Gary informs Paul that he's been granted parole so he's out today - leaving Paul to face an angry mob.

Thursday

Terese has returned from her health retreat in a better frame of mind, but is shocked to learn that Paul is in hospital following an altercation at the prison. Despite what he's done, she still cares about him.

Later, a conversation with Amy prompts Terese to visit Paul in hospital. She's hoping that he might finally be ready to admit his guilt, because she wants to start moving on by finding a way to forgive him. Paul turns the tables on Terese. She might be ready to move forward, but he's stuck rotting behind bars because of her. He will never forgive or forget what she did to him.

Meanwhile, Jimmy is not in a great place and introduces Charlie to 'the dice game' - a game that involves more and more challenging dares. Charlie is a bit nervous about some of the dares, but Jimmy is relishing the danger. When Steph is called into work for a couple of hours, Mark takes the boys on a tour of the police station.

Later, Jimmy reveals a can of pepper spray that he stole from the police station. As part of a dare, Jimmy sprays the can but Charlie is caught in the line of fire and is taken to hospital. Whn Amy shows up, Steph tries to express her concerns about Jimmy's behaviour. It's a sensitive topic and it sparks tension between the two friends.

Elsewhere, Ben ends up telling Xanthe about Sarah's cancer after she clashes with Angus. Xanthe feels terrible and goes overboard being nice to Angus. When he questions her behaviour, Xanthe reveals the truth to Angus about his mum.

Friday

Sonya is preoccupied with thoughts of Walter and his request that she donate her bone marrow to her half-sister Zoe. Toadie is apprehensive, knowing the emotional toll this could take on Sonya, but she is determined to go ahead with the preliminary testing to see if she's a match. Her determination to help is further fuelled when Zoe arrives and proves to be an absolute delight.

As the sisters get to know each other, Sonya finds herself connecting with Zoe more and more. However, spirits are dampened when Karl delivers the news that Sonya is not a match with Zoe and therefore won't be able to donate her bone marrow. The family is devastated and at a loss over what to do, but Walter makes a shocking suggestion. Why don't they test Nell?

Meanwhile, when Mark is hauled over the coals at work as a consequence of Jimmy's behaviour, he takes matters into his own hands and confronts Amy - asking her to have a talk to Jimmy for his sake as well as Steph's. Amy tries to take a 'tough love' approach with Jimmy, but he admits the truth behind his behaviour - he's just trying to have fun because there's no-one to do that with anymore since he was abandoned by Liam, Kyle and Paul.

In response, Amy retracts his punishment, but her softly-softly approach only leads to more trouble. Jimmy and Charlie use super-soakers to target unsuspecting victims. When Steph discovers the boys acting up yet again, she is furious and this time she's not holding back in telling Amy what she thinks of her choices as a mother.

Elsewhere, after finding out from Xanthe that his mother is ill, an upset Angus confronts Susan. He's looking for answers, but despite Susan's attempts to explain Sarah's reasoning for not telling Angus the truth, Angus can't see past what he believes is another rejection. Worried, Susan tasks Ben with speaking to Angus. Angus reads Ben's concern as a pity party rather than friendship and this leads him to drastic action. He steals Ben and Xanthe's busking money with only one thing in mind - escape.
