With Jane's life hanging in the balance, Ian is faced with a tough decision. Will he continue to protect Bobby or finally turn his back on him?

Meanwhile, Roxy arrives at The Vic looking for Amy. Despite Ronnie's request to keep an eye on her, Jack sends her on her way. Outside, Linda encourages Roxy to open up about Dean but Roxy doesn't want to hear it. Later, Jack tells Ronnie that Roxy has gone.

Elsewhere, Ronnie spots Andy fleeing the Square and invites him back to hers to talk.

Also today, Louise tells Bex that everything is okay between them.

Tuesday

Bobby is arrested for his attack on Jane.

Sharon tries to take control of the terrible situation, but it's just the beginning of the drama and what happens next shocks her.

At the hospital, the Beales anxiously wait for news on Jane's condition, but Ian soon finds himself at the police station too.

Thursday

Ian is struggling to come to terms with recent events.

As the pressure continues to build, Christian and his mum Linda Clarke turn up and reveal some worrying news about Jane.

Ian can't believe what he's hearing, but he then has to brace himself for some harsh home truths from Linda.

Meanwhile, Sharon tries to protect her family and turns to Linda for support.

Elsewhere, Ronnie continues her search for Roxy.

Friday

With the Beale family still in turmoil, Ian struggles to hold everything together.

Christian decides to give Ian the benefit of the doubt and offers him the chance to explain everything, but will Christian be able to forgive Ian when he hears the full story?

Meanwhile, Roxy is keen to make a fresh start and tells Ronnie that she is renting out a new flat.

Elsewhere, Sharon continues with her mission to help Phil and packs away Peggy's belongings, with some help from Shirley. When Phil finds out what Sharon has done, he takes it badly and storms off.

Also today, Pam realises Babe is to blame for the blackmail and asks Les to distract her while she finds evidence.

EastEnders landlord Mick Carter tries to give Ian Beale a big wake-up call over his twisted son Bobby in tense scenes next week.

Fans were left shocked on Friday when Bobby (Elliot Carrington) brutally attacked his stepmum Jane with a hockey stick following another argument at home.

Even Bobby himself is stunned by his own behaviour in the aftermath, so he heads straight over to the Queen Vic to make a full confession to what he's done.

Interrupting Ian's speech at Stacey and Martin's wedding reception, a guilty Bobby causes shockwaves by telling everyone what he did to Jane.

True to form, Ian jumps in to protect his son and escorts him out of the pub - but Mick (Danny Dyer) can't resist getting involved and tries to give his friend a reality check.

As Mick's words hit home, will Ian (Adam Woodyatt) realise that he can't keep protecting Bobby? Or will he decide that he still can't turn his back on his out-of-control son?

She isn't dead. We will cut a scene of someone in the shower, and it was all a dream.
