Zac is grilled further by Dylan and Kat about his whereabouts on the night of Charlotte's murder. Zac insists he was on the beach, but when Dylan shows him CCTV footage which proves he actually followed Charlotte to Stewart's Point, Zac asks for a lawyer and clams up. With Zac in urgent need of someone backing him up, Alf knows exactly who to call.
Zac is relieved and grateful when Morag arrives to take on his case and she urges him to tell her the truth. Zac admits that after the wedding, he was furious with Charlotte and went for a walk. When he saw her, he followed her to Stewart's Point where they had a confrontation, but she was alive when he left.
Morag later demands the release of her client, but despite DNA tests revealing no link, Dylan is convinced of Zac's guilt and charges him with Charlotte's murder.

Meanwhile, Ricky struggles with her new living arrangements and realises that being a doctor's wife is a lonely proposition.
Elsewhere, Ash and Andy's plans to open a garage hit a snag when the property they are interested in is sold.
Tuesday
Leah despairs as news of Zac being formally charged is revealed. Morag is also incensed at Dylan's eagerness to charge Zac. She accuses him of using Zac as a way back into his father's good graces and shines a light on Dylan's chequered past. It's an exchange that leaves him rattled.
Later, Leah is guilt-ridden to confess to Alf that she has real questions over Zac's innocence, wondering whether he lied to her and whether he really did have something to hide. Refusing to believe that, Alf counsels her to back her new husband.
Unfortunately, things soon get even worse for Zac when he is denied bail - despite Morag's best attempts to rip apart the prosecution's case.
Meanwhile, Ricky and Nate get crossed wires over the reason why he is taking on multiple shifts at work. Ricky fears that Nate is avoiding their new life, but is there another explanation?
Elsewhere, Ash and Andy have to fight to stop their business from failing before it has even got off the ground.
Wednesday
Having seen Dylan share a look with the judge earlier, Morag wonders if he had something to do with Zac being denied bail. She decides to confront Dylan about it and he refuses to admit anything, but it's clear that he's definitely hiding something.
At the same time, Leah finally comes face-to-face with a scared Zac but hesitates when Zac presumes that she believes he didn't kill Charlotte. Leah explains that her doubts were caused by his lies over where he was that night, but she now knows it was a stupid thought and he didn't kill her.
Meanwhile, Irene is clearing up after breakfast when there's a knock at the door. She answers to Claire, a woman who claims to be Irene's daughter.
Elsewhere, Skye is heartbroken when she sees Oscar kissing another girl at the pizza night, but she tells Olivia that she is going to keep her feelings to herself.
Thursday
Irene is in a state of shock following Claire's arrival. Claire fills her in on her background and her search for Irene. As stunned as she is, it all seems to add up for Irene. She's thrilled when they seem to find common character traits which support the idea they could be related.
However, when Claire enquires about her possible biological father's background, Irene stumbles. She can't bring herself to explain the horrific circumstances of her baby's conception. Later, Claire presses Olivia to know about her father and Olivia is forced into telling her the truth. Claire is horrified and flees. Later, Olivia must break it to Irene about what she's done.

Meanwhile, Kyle's shift at Angelo's starts interestingly enough with the arrival of a sexy stranger, Isla Schultz. Claiming to be a saleswoman in Summer Bay on business, she seems to take an instant liking to Kyle - much to Josh's amusement. However, just as their flirtation ramps up, Isla reveals her real agenda. She's an associate of Dave Rogers from Melbourne, the guy Kyle was mixed up with over the illegal poker game. Isla is here to inform Kyle that Dave is calling in his debt of $75,000.
Elsewhere, after a romantic rendezvous goes sour, Chris and Hannah try to get back on track.
Friday
Irene tracks down Claire and confirms that what Olivia said was true. After processing the revelation, Claire admits there's something she's been meaning to show Irene and she produces a baby photo of herself. Irene is struck by the image and she immediately takes Claire home to show her a photo of Finlay, Irene's daughter, at the same age. It's as though Claire and Finlay could be twins.
Later, Irene announces that she's taking everyone out for dessert to celebrate finding her daughter. Olivia is wary, pointing out they should wait until a DNA test has been done before they start throwing a party. Irene reveals that she and Claire have decided to hold off on the DNA test for now. They're both sure they're mother and daughter and are concentrating on getting to know each other before bothering with the official paperwork. Olivia can't help feeling concerned.
Meanwhile, Kyle summons Ricky to meet him at work, then brings up the idea to sell the gym. Without revealing his true agenda, Kyle tries to persuade Ricky the timing is right to sell.
Elsewhere, Hannah receives a phone call from the hospital. Her test results are in and what she is about to be told could change her life forever.
