Hollyoaks Spoilers 18th - 22nd April 2016

Over on Hollyoaks, Holly Cunningham makes a risky decision as she gets closer to Nathan Nightingale.

Holly (Amanda Clapham) tries her best to support Nathan as he continues to grieve for his late partner Rachel Hardy, but she's definitely asking for trouble as she continues to hide the fact that she caused the crash that killed her.

It all starts as the week of Rachel's funeral arrives, with Nathan (Jared Garfield) clearly dreading the service. He tries to forget his troubles by getting drunk, but it's not long before he angrily lashes out at Holly.

In spite of this grief-stricken outburst, Holly is still there for Nathan the next day when she spots him hesitating outside The Dog after Rachel's funeral - seemingly frozen to the spot as he doesn't want to go inside for the wake.

Caring Holly takes Nathan's hand and offers to go in with him, marking the beginning of a new friendship between the pair.

There's no danger of Nathan warming up to Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin) in the same way, though, as he continues to wrongly blame her for the crash. Deciding that justice has to be done, Nathan nearly breaks down the McQueens' door as he plans to angrily confront her.

Cleo copes with the stressful situation by running straight back to evil Pete Buchanan, and she's furious when she later sees Nathan and Holly looking so cosy.

Fed up with being blamed for a crime she didn't commit, Cleo decides that it's time to tell the truth about who was really driving on the night Rachel died. Will she really turn her friend into the police?

Monday

The Osbornes receive another blackmail note which orders them to meet in The Folly with £5,000. Darren and Nancy panic and tell Maxine.

Later, Darren and Nancy wait for Maxine at The Folly but she doesn't turn up. Back at the boarding house, another letter has arrived...

Meanwhile, Freddie tries to put a smile on Ellie's face when he turns up at The Dog dressed as a sailor. However, she's sick of his games and pours water over his head. Alfie can see that Ellie has feelings for Freddie and persuades her to give him a chance, much to Marnie's annoyance. Ellie and Freddie decide to keep their relationship a secret.

Elsewhere, grieving Nathan gets drunk and lashes out at Holly.


Tuesday

The Nightingales are concerned about Nathan not coming home last night. When he wakes up on a park bench, he continues to drink. He later returns to The Dog, but when Rachel's hearse pulls up in the car park, he hides in the Roscoes' garage. Freddie finds Nathan and urges him to go to the funeral for Rachel's sake.

Later, Nathan stands on The Dog patio where the wake is taking place inside. He's frozen to the spot, but Holly takes his hand and offers to go in with him.

Meanwhile, Marnie threatens Freddie to stay away from Ellie. Darren also finds out about Freddie and Marnie's night together.

Elsewhere, Kim is a nervous wreck, waiting for Lindsey to pounce. Esther manages to calm her nerves, but as Kim leaves the coffee shop, she spots Lindsey disguised in a blonde wig. Kim and Esther decide to leave for good. Kim realises how much danger she's put everyone in and tells a heartbroken Esther that she has to leave on her own.

Also today, Cameron can see Leela is missing Ste and he's not happy about it. Leela helps out at the burger boat when her hours get cut at the fire station, but she's fed up with Cameron's micro-managing. Ste suggests she set something up on her own and out of spite, she tells Cameron that she's starting her own cleaning business. He's furious that Ste has interfered again.


Wednesday

​Lindsey tells Kim to meet her with money. After some words from Esther, Kim decides to tell the police.

Meanwhile, Nathan wants Cleo to face justice and nearly breaks down the McQueens' door trying to get to her. Later, Cleo runs straight into Pete's arms. She's furious when she sees Nathan and Holly looking cosy and decides to tell the truth about who was driving the night Rachel died. Later, Myra and Celine decide to have a boozy girls' night in to put a smile on Cleo's face.

Elsewhere, Leela has secured the Nightingales as new customers for her cleaning business, while Ste also persuades Simone to take Leela on. Later, Ste's ulterior motives are revealed when he lets Harry into The Dog flat to have a shower. Leela asks Ste to do the Lovedays' flat on his own. He knows they're away overnight, so when he gets a call from Amy asking him to look after the kids, he decides to stay the night in the Lovedays' flat.

Also today, Freddie tells Marnie that he wants her, not Ellie. He leans in for a kiss.


Thursday

​Kim gets another text from Lindsey, which says they should be together.

Meanwhile, Cleo meets Pete when there's nobody for her to talk to at home and she asks whether they can run away together.

Elsewhere, Ste is trying to clean the Lovedays' flat, with Leah and Lucas getting under his feet. Simone heads home when she finds out Ste is cleaning her flat and not Leela. She feels helpless when she walks in to see crayon on the walls, Leah and Lucas playing with her clothes and Ste cooking pasta.


Friday

ony watches helplessly as suppliers take his stock away. After her fall at The Hutch, Myra considers settling out of court for her compensation money. James tells her the sky is the limit with how much she could get in court, but Diego reminds her that £8,000 is enough for them to have IVF.

Later, Tony begs Myra and Diego to reconsider their case for compensation.

Meanwhile Harry is struggling at school. Mrs St Claire calls Tony into a meeting and John Paul tells him that Harry will fail his A Levels if he doesn't do his coursework.

Elsewhere, Ste asks Mac for a job and James encourages his dad to give Ste a chance, but why?

Also today, Mrs St Claire invites John Paul for lunch at The Hutch to discuss arrangements for the school ball, but Myra walks in and warns Mrs St Claire away from her son. Back at school, Mrs St Claire introduces John Paul to his new event planning assistant for the school ball – Scott!

Finally, Cleo is trying to find enough money to run away with Pete and asks Holly for £500. Nathan offers to give Holly the money she needs for 'her friend'. Holly gives Cleo the money but is suspicious about what she needs it for and follows her straight to Pete's van.
