EastEnders' Carter clan will finally have something to smile about later this month as Johnny makes his long-awaited return to Walford.
Johnny arrives back home as the family try their best to cheer up Linda, who's endured a difficult start to the year due to baby Ollie's recent accident.
Linda (Kellie Bright) is pleased to have a rare chance to let her hair down when Mick arranges a karaoke night at The Vic, but she's unaware that he also has another surprise up his sleeve.
When the fun event gets under way, Linda is overjoyed when Johnny surprises her by paying a very unexpected visit.
Although everyone is pleased to see Johnny, it's bittersweet for Linda as he still has no idea about everything that happened with Dean in his absence. It's only a matter of time before Linda will have to be honest with her son, but how will he take it?

Johnny is now played by newcomer Ted Reilly, who's taking over the role from Sam Strike.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, April 12 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Monday
When Louise continues to blackmail her, Abi grows desperate and offers her money in exchange for her silence. Louise turns down the deal, so Babe suggests to Abi that it may be time to get in there first and tell Ben the truth. When Abi heads home, it's not long before the truth comes out and Abi is exposed as a liar. But how is the secret revealed and how will Ben react?
Later, Abi finds a drunken Ben confronting Louise over the stolen credit card. Once they're alone, Abi is relieved when Ben begins to kiss her and removes her clothes, but things take a sudden turn when he drags her out into the bar and reveals her secret to everyone in The Vic.

Meanwhile, Mick and Sharon decide to host a karaoke night at The Vic to cheer up Linda, but Mick has another idea up his sleeve and makes a call. Linda agrees to let her hair down, but Ben's public revelation about Abi looks set to put a dampener on the event. As everyone reels from Abi's deception, there's another surprise in store when Johnny returns.
Elsewhere, Stacey attempts to get back to normal. After an awkward run-in with Masood, she builds bridges with Carmel who promises to talk to Masood.
Tuesday
Linda is disappointed when Johnny reveals that he's only back home for a few days. She is also anxious about the fact that Johnny still doesn't know about everything that happened with Dean when he was away. Mick encourages her to tell him the truth sooner rather than later.
After an incident with the karaoke, Johnny realises that all is not well with Linda. He decides to open up about his own troubles, revealing that he has split with Gianluca. Linda realises Johnny needs to know the truth and finally tells him about Dean's attack.
Meanwhile, Abi finds herself at the end of Phil and Ben's wrath following the revelation that she lied about being pregnant. At home, Louise and Jay talk about what's happened and she goes to kiss him. Soon afterwards, Jay gets tough with Ben by reminding him that everything only happened because Ben won't admit the truth about being gay.

Elsewhere, when Masood continues to ignore Carmel, she makes a show of apologising to him in front of everyone in The Vic. Her efforts don't have much success, as Masood later shares some harsh words with her once they're alone. Carmel tries to remind him that this is about Stacey and everything that happened, not them.
Also today, Stacey decides to invite Belinda, Jean and Ollie out for lunch the next day.
Thursday
Stacey's family lunch gets off to a bad start when Jean insists that Kyle is lying about who he is. Stacey tries to lighten the mood by revealing the date of the wedding, but Jean is in no mood to celebrate and decides to further interrogate Kyle instead.
Feeling backed into a corner by Jean, Kyle reveals the truth about his past but she still refuses to believe his story. Stacey is horrified by Jean's harsh behaviour and tries her best to defend Kyle. Later on, Belinda drops a bombshell on her family...
Meanwhile, Johnny continues to struggle as he realises how much his family have kept from him over the past year. He breaks down in private, but tries to paint on a smile when Mick organises a Carter family photo. Later, though, Johnny finally snaps and tells Mick that he blames him for everything.

Elsewhere, Jay meets with Linzi and lets slip about what happened with Louise. Linzi isn't pleased and warns Louise to stay away.
Also today, Ben takes Jay's words on board and invites Paul for a drink, telling him that he's fed up with lying about who he is. Will Paul give him another chance?
Friday
The final day of Johnny's visit has arrived, but the atmosphere remains tense between the Carters. After speaking to Nancy, Johnny apologises to Mick for his recent harsh words - but Mick insists that Johnny was right and everything is his fault. Johnny tries to support his dad and soon gets an idea of how to bring the Carters back together, but will his plan work?
At the same time, Nancy opens up to Tamwar and admits that she feels trapped.
Meanwhile, with money now a problem, Martin asks Ian if they can start selling more varied items on the stall. Martin also sees plans for Beales' and is upset to see who Ian has sold to. Later at The Vic, Kyle encourages Martin to be honest with Stacey about his financial woes.
