It has just been announced that Ronnie Corbett died aged 85 yrs

Entertainer Ronnie Corbett, best known for The Two Ronnies, has died aged 85, surrounded by family, his publicist has said.
Corbett was one of the UK's best-loved comedians and along with Ronnie Barker, their double act was one of the most successful of the 1970s and '80s.

Very sad news. David Bowie, Terry Wogan, Alan Rickman, Paul Daniels, Ronnie Corbett, and we're not even at the end of March yet. Not a good start to the year.:(

I used to love the two Ronnies on a Saturday night as a kid, a real treat to watch them, especially when they dressed up as women doing those funny songs and I loved the big play at the end, who can forget 'The worm that turned' with Diana Dors. :) Those wonderful monologues in that big chair were so good. I thought he was great with Ronnie B. "Sorry" was one of my favorite Britcoms. 'Language Timothy.' Heaven will be a fun place to be tonight, with Ronnie C and B and Eric and Ern. My thoughts are with his wife Anne and his two daughters. RIP Ronnie.
