Wedding tension between Ricky and Nate escalates. Olivia has trouble confessing a secret to Hunter. Evelyn confronts Tank with an unexpected outcome.


Thursday

A blast from the past causes Ricky to question whether she still wants to marry Nate. Olivia is devastated after some shocking news. Kat is finding it harder to hide her doubts about Dylan.

- A text message causes Ricky to question her impending marriage. #

### TV Week: "Tank is stabbed in a vicious prison attack...This week Zac plucks up the courage to visit Tank in jail despite having flashbacks of his own bloody encounter in the slammer. But, to Zac's horror, at that very moment, Tank is ruthlessly set upon by other inmates & stabbed. As Tank is wheeled into hospital, Zac feels guilty. He theorises that if he'd come to visit earlier perhaps Tank might not have been attacked."

#### TV Week: "Not even Tank can burst Josh & Evie's love bubble this week. The young couple head to the city, where Josh spontaneously proposes to Evie with a makeshift ring. And, she says yes! Just what are they doing in the city? Keen to put the Tank experience behind her, Evie wants to get her tattooed letter "T" for Tank removed... Along for the ride to the city are Matt & Maddy who are trying to move past their cyber-bullying dramas. After getting the tatt removed, the foursome head to a bar to celebrate. When the mood is right & they are alone, he gets down on one knee & proposes to Evie. He doesn't have a ring, so he uses the wire from a champagne cork! A giddy Evie says yes! The following morning, she & Josh excitedly deliver their news to Matt & Maddy. But, it is likely Zac & Leah won't share the newly engaged couple's excitement. Will Josh & Evie tell them, or will they keep their engagement a secret?

Is Tank being redeemed and brought in as a permanent character, or is this another guest stint?

I have read in a few different places that Tank's return will only be another guest stint. Not sure, but I don't think there has been anything said officially, so I gather that this is only (strong) speculation at this point. It is also being said that he will be a "different person" when he returns, so it will be interesting to see how much he has "changed". We do know already that he helped Zac when he was being attacked in prison (& that is why he gets stabbed himself, in these latest spoilers, & why Zac is feeling guilty/wants to help him). We also know that he gets together with Skye at some point, with photos around of them kissing/holding hands. It will interesting to see how the others react to this! (there is also speculation around that Skye may only be a guest character as well. Not sure of this one - I haven't looked to see whether she is listed as a permanent or guest).

Just a bit more on the TV Week article I mentioned in the previous post, about Tank being attacked in prison, TV Week also said: "Tank is stabbed in a vicious prison attack this week. The youngster is left bleeding & needing emergency surgery. But Tank's reappearance fires some strong emotions in the Bay.... Still fresh in people's minds is Tank's coward punch that left Josh fighting for his life in hospital. There is one person who might stick up for Tank - Zac. After all, the young man came to Zac's assistance when he was recently attacked in prison. This week Zac plucks up the courage to visit Tank in jail, despite having flashbacks of his own bloody encounter in the slammer. But, to Zac's horror, at that very moment, Tank is ruthlessly set upon by other inmates & stabbed. As Tank is wheeled into hospital, Zac feels guilty. Evie has been trying to close the book on her disturbing chapter with Tank & move forward. Why would Zac bring him back into their lives? Motivated by Evie's emotional pain, Josh confronts a shocked Tank as he lies helpless in his hospital bed. When he sees him, Josh loses his temper & has to be physically restrained. "Josh goes into the hospital to warn him to stay out of his & Evie's lives," Philippa explains. Then, Evie goes to the hospital herself to let him know she doesn't believe he's changed since being in prison. "Evie thinks Tank has convinced Zac he's a good guy," Philippa says. "But, she tells him he's not welcome in the Bay. She says she is not going to be fooled the way he has managed to fool Zac." Clearly, Evie & Josh aren't ready to forgive. Zac, meanwhile, wants to help. If he recovers from his injuries, Tank will be sent straight back to prison, where it's likely he will be attacked again. With this in mind, Zac wants to make an appeal to the prison parole board about Tank. Other people in Summer Bay, however, are appalled by the idea. Evie is especially horrified that Tank is being given a second chance. She warns Zac that if he tries to get him out of prison, she'll never forgive him. Will Zac choose to help Tank or abide by Evie's wishes?"

While it's quite hard to imagine how Tank could be redeemed after what he did to Evie and Josh, I think the actor who plays him is better and more interesting than either of that pair, so I wouldn't mind him being brought in as a regular character after redeeming himself by saving Zac. Josh and Evie can then leave the bay forever in disgust. :D
