I don't think Paige knows about the Willis' trouble at that point, and I believe this guy saves her.

Really glad it isn't Brad! In any case some people want to leave so makes more sense.

It's Steph's biker friend who hated Paul from the beginning. He was shown walking out suspiciously with a laptop or a tablet in hand in the episode where Ned was reunited with Brad. It was like a teaser for the viewers to see if they notice. He was angry at Steph too for giving his name up to police for the illegal booze.

That's who that was! I knew I recognised him and they focused on him too long for it to be nothing. But I would think he'd target Paul and Steph no? Although I suppose by targeting Paul he is indirectly putting Steph at risk too.

I think Stephs friend, not sure of his name, Jacka? can have something to do with it. Or Tom himself.

I don't think that Julie Quill, Tom's stepmum, would do that to her own business.

It was shown that Piper thinks that Brodie could have done it.

My first guess is Jacka, second Tom Quill.

Another suspisious thing is the money found in the fridge of room no 601.

It looks like Xanthe and Ben were in no 601 room when the explosion happened. Xanthe reserved the room pretending to be Tom's assistant. It seems that the money hidden in the fridge belong to Tom...

I'd be surprised if it was Julie!

My guesses are Jacka or Brodie. I say Brodie because, although I know he was angry at Tyler, what happened with him creeping on him in the boiler room? He didn't end up doing anything that we seen did he?
Maybe he done it in the hopes Tyler would get the blame?
Plus, after Mark told Tyler about Josh dying, he looked quite guilty, I'm not saying Tyler done it, but maybe Brodie said or did something to Tyler off screen that makes him suss?

And with Jacka, he does seem like the kind of person who would get revenge more than just writing "DOG" on the motel and someone who doesn't really think things through before doing them!

I have no idea, clearly! haha It's all just speculation

I was wondering that too. I think Tom Quill because the money found is suspicious. Also I don't trust Ned- possible revenge for Brad and Terese.

Monday 11th April

When Steph presents to Paul the incriminating evidence that she found inside his briefcase, Paul realises that someone is trying to frame him for the Lassiters explosion. Desperate, he enlists Nene’s help, asking her to corroborate on a false alibi with him. Despite Nene’s reservations, her soft spot for Paul gets the better of her and she plays along with the lie. When Nene witnesses Paul demonstrate affection for Terese, arrived home after the day’s harrowing events, Nene begins to suspect that Paul was playing up his fondness for her to get what he wants. Later, returning to the Willis house with a gift of food for the grieving family, Nene walks in on Paul and Terese locked in a passionate embrace. Unseen, and feeling used, Nene slinks away. The next person to arrive at the Willis House is Mark, on a mission to haul Paul down to the station for questioning regarding the Lassiters explosion.

With Toadie still trapped under rubble, Sonya struggles to balance her dual roles of anxious wife and in-charge Mayor. But she comes through spectacularly on both fronts, when Toadie is rescued. Steph joins the reverie with Toadie, Sonya and Nell later in the hospital. When Sonya leaves the room, Steph questions whether she should still destroy the mysterious file he mentioned when he thought he might not make it. Uneasy, Toadie urges her to forget about it. But will she be able to…?

Paige continues her bedside vigil in the hospital room of her unidentified mystery saviour. Although Lauren is aware Paige is channelling her grief over the loss of Doug and Josh into something tangible and positive, she is still concerned for Paige’s wellbeing. The discovery of a piece of evidence (one of Tyler’s Fitzgerald Motors business cards with a smudged phone number on the back) only intensifies Paige’s determination to stick by her saviour as he recovers and tries to determine his identity. When Tyler clocks Lauren’s concern, he gets involved, offering to help Paige in her quest.

The community are still rocked by the explosion at Lassiters. Terese is shell-shocked at losing her son and Brad, who also lost his dad, comes over to offer support. She believes Paul’s claim that he’s been set up. However when she goes to show Brad the CCTV footage of Lassiters before the explosion she discovers a file has been deleted. Paul had access to these files on her computer when Terese went to see Ned.* Terese is devastated that Paul has betrayed her. She goes to confront him. Paul protests his innocence and professes his love for Terese but she doesn’t believe him on both counts. Paul Robinson killed her son and she will never forgive him.

Meanwhile, Nate having returned during the aftermath of the explosion is trying to make amends with Aaron. Nate is disappointed to learn that Aaron was seeing someone while he was gone. Nate attempts to build a bridge but Aaron is keeping him at arms length. Aaron is anxious that he hasn’t heard back from Tom Quill and fears the worst. He gets a call that Tom’s I.D. was found on the stairwell leading to the Lassiter’s underground car park, which has caved in. Tom is missing, presumed dead. Aaron falls to pieces, but is he upset because he’s sad at losing Tom or is he feeling guilty?

Paul has been taken in for questioning by police in relation to the explosion. Nene tells Amy and Daniel that she went to the police and changed her story about being Paul’s alibi when she saw him kiss Terese. Although disappointed in Paul for asking Nene to lie, Amy is convinced that Paul is innocent because he wouldn’t have put Daniel or Terese at risk. After Paul completes a thorough character assassination of Nene during questioning, Mark calls her back in to the station. Amy and Daniel accompany her. When Terese shows up and attacks Paul for deleting the CCTV footage from her computer, Daniel recalls that Paul asked him and Terese to meet at Robinson’s prior to the explosion. Ned tries getting Piper to see reason – worried she may go down the same dark past as him, but she isn’t listening. Thursday 14th April

Nate returns to his job at The Waterhole, and admits to Sheila that he’s worried about Aaron. But he no longer feels it’s his place to reach out to him. Sheila can see Nate still has feelings for his ex, and urges him to be there as a friend for now. Realising how hard Aaron’s taken his job loss, Nate approaches Sonya, hoping to convince her to re-hire Aaron as her assistant. Sonya regretfully tells him that’s impossible, but she’s touched by Nate’s obvious love for Aaron, and suggests a compromise. She offers Aaron a job at the nursery. But when Aaron discovers the offer was prompted by Nate’s interference, he rejects it, and tells Nate to stop trying to look after him—he doesn’t deserve it. Puzzled by this self-punishment, Nate pushes Aaron to open up, and Aaron makes a shocking confession: he’s responsible for Tom Quill’s death.

Ben learns that Libby’s moving to Shanghai. But he wants to stay in Erinsborough, and Susan agrees—as long as he stays out of trouble, and away from Xanthe. Ben knows that may be difficult, given he and Xanthe are hiding a bag of misbegotten cash. He goes to Xanthe to convince her that they should hand the money to the police. He’s frustrated when he learns she’s been spending it doing good deeds for Sheila. However when he sees Piper upset over her broken laptop, he’s tempted to do a good deed of his own; he buys Piper a replacement laptop. Xanthe’s upset by his hypocrisy, and jealous that he cares so deeply about Piper. She confronts Ben, which leads to them almost being sprung by Susan and Karl. They manage to talk their way out of it. But Xanthe’s jealousy remains, until Piper assures her she sees Ben strictly as a friend, giving Xanthe her blessing to pursue him.

Despite believing that Paul’s guilty for causing the explosion, Steph’s determined to make the most of her motel’s spike in profits, knowing her future hinges on it. However, she’s stung when Sonya puts the kybosh on a potential council contract, feeling it’s a bad look to associate with Paul’s business right now. When Sheila points out that Steph is essentially guilty by association, and reaping blood money, Steph realises that they are right. She decides to hear Paul’s side of the story. If he convinces her he’s innocent, she’ll fight to keep the motel afloat. But if not, she can kiss goodbye to her future.

Things are tense between Karl and Susan, with Karl bending over backwards to prove to Susan that he’s keeping away from Sarah. Friday 15th April

Having just confessed to killing Tom Quill, Aaron clams up again, not wanting to drag Nate into his mess. But Nate desperately wants to help Aaron and convinces him to tell him what happened. Finally swayed, Aaron admits that just before the explosion, he encountered Tom in the underground car park of the hotel.
They got into an argument, Tom swung a punch, and in his defence, Aaron punched him back and knocked him out. Aaron believes that if he hadn’t have done this to Tom, he would have left the vicinity before the explosion took place. Now that he’s confessed to Nate, Aaron feels he needs to confess to Julie Quill as well, but Nate holds him back. For starters, Tom’s body has never been recovered, so until that happens, they should just keep quiet. But will Aaron heed Nate’s advice?

Xanthe uses the ruse of the tutoring sessions with Ben to spend more time with him. But when Ben realises that Xanthe has been stalking him online, he gently rejects any romantic possibility between them. Undeterred, Xanthe contemplates desperate measures to win him over.

With Terese struggling to pull herself together and spending most of her time in bed, Imogen has taken it upon herself to make all the arrangements for Josh’s funeral, including writing the eulogy. Pam arrives from Darwin to help with the arrangements for Doug’s cremation and attend Josh’s funeral. But almost instantly, Lauren senses intense tension between Pam and Ned. Pam’s reluctant to say anything about it, but when Lauren walks into an argument between Pam and Ned, she learns that when Ned was living in Darwin, he did something completely unforgivable to Pam. Lauren can’t believe that Pam has never told Brad about this. Pam only kept quiet at Doug’s insistence. Ned is also desperate for Brad not to know about the incident. Lauren covers, for now, but is clearly uncomfortable about it.
