Former Hollyoaks star Craig Vye is returning to the soap world with a new guest role on Emmerdale.
The actor will be appearing on the ITV soap for a handful of episodes in the part of Dean, who is the villainous ex-boyfriend of Holly Barton.
Vye played police detective Ethan Scott on Hollyoaks for a one-year stint in 2011, but he'll now be caught up in dodgy dealings himself as his Emmerdale character Dean is very bad news.
Although Dean appears to be all sweetness and light when he first meets Holly's family, he soon shows a sinister side as he orders her to repay him for drugs that he supplied her with when they were together.

As Dean's threats become more serious, Holly's mum Moira and stepdad Cain will both try to deal with him - but how hard will it be to see him off?
Sophie Powles, who returns to screens as Holly this week, revealed: "Holly was doing very well in London. She was having a great time and working hard, but then people she was working with on a weekend were doing the party lifestyle and dabbling in cocaine. Holly, being Holly, thought: 'I'll be fine now, I'm clean, I'll be fine with a bit of coke'.
"But then it turned from cocaine to harder substances and she got herself into a bit of a mess. Dean didn't want to go out with her anymore as she was a mess, but she still owes him money for the drugs she had.
"When Dean comes back, to everybody else it seems like he's just her boyfriend, but later on when everyone is gone we're left with a very intimidated Holly and a boyfriend demanding money."
Vye's Hollyoaks character is remembered for his clashes with local bad boys Warren Fox and Brendan Brady, as well as becoming a love rat when he juggled relationships with Theresa McQueen, Liberty Savage and Rae Wilson.
Ethan's exit storyline saw him hand himself in after being involved in a hit and run... so maybe this new bad boy role won't be such a stretch after all.
Emmerdale airs his first scenes on Friday (March 25).
