is a death happening at home farm?

No deaths seem to happen for at least a while. Iain MacLeod said recently that there will be a stunt in Emmerdale towards the end of June which will involve Priya, Rakesh, Lawrence and Nicola. No-one's death was stated to be for definite though.

The aftermath of the Lawrence/Andy upcoming storyline presumably drags on for a while, with Lawrence not being suspected for now of setting up thugs to beat up Andy on 6 April.

Lawrence does have a history of heart problems, however, and a heart attack seems to happen on 7 Apr. I'm guessing that Lawrence finds out quite quickly that Bernice and Andy weren't together lately and the upset is what triggers his heart attack. It will be interesting to see the outcome of this case of Lawrence's mistaken idea on his future relationships with wife Bernice and "daughter" Chrissie.

In the meantime, Chrissie is shortly going to look for her real father on 8 Apr. How she finds out first that Lawrence isn't her real father by then has yet to be revealed.

Twitter is not a primary source for reliable and well-referenced spoilers. "Chinese whispers" comes to my mind right now!

Zak Dingle's new romance is already running into trouble on Emmerdale as he fears he could be about to lose Joanie Wright.

As Joanie (Denise Black) continues to work at the sweet factory, rumours spread that Rishi Sharma is giving her special treatment because he fancies her.

When word of this gets back to Zak (Steve Halliwell), he struggles to hide his jealousy, but Joanie gets tough by warning him that she can be a flirt sometimes and he just has to accept it.

Zak tries his best not to worry about Joanie's flirty nature, but it's not long before the green-eyed monster gets too much for him and he lashes out by punching Rishi (Bhasker Patel) at the pub. To make matters worse, it's witnessed by a mortified Belle and Lisa.

Jacob stumbles which gives away he's been drinking. Meanwhile, Ashley smells the alcohol on Gabby. David realises Jacob is suffering more than he thought.

Liv feels guilty when she overhears Aaron telling Chas they can trust her. She tells Gordon that she believes Aaron and doesn't want to help him anymore. Gordon becomes dark and snaps at Liv.

When Liv returns home upset, she drops herself in it when she mentions Ryan. Aaron is furious when he realises that Liv has been spying on them for Gordon, but his anger turns to worry when Liv runs away. Aaron bravely goes to confront Gordon, but what will Liv do with her recording?

Meanwhile, Chrissie thinks Bernice is jealous of her fling with Andy, but Bernice agrees to stay quiet about the fling. Bernice finds Andy's watch and tells Lawrence that it's Robert's, but will her secrecy backfire?

Also today, Gabby tries to go along to a gig with Lachlan but is refused by Laurel and Ashley, while Lisa thinks Joanie is getting preferential treatment at work.

Andy tells Bernice that he and Chrissie are going to be honest with Lawrence about their relationship, but Lawrence interrupts them and immediately gets the wrong idea.

Later, Robert is horrified to learn from Andy that he's been seeing Chrissie. But it's not Robert that Andy needs to worry about, as Lawrence makes a secret call...

Robert figures out that Lawrence was behind the attack and threatens to use it against him. Chrissie is shocked to realise that her dad was the one who hired the thugs and Lawrence is devastated when Chrissie compares him to Robert.

Lawrence suddenly sinks to the floor in the middle of a cardiac arrest, alone and panicking. Robert arrives, but will he help Lawrence or leave him to die?

Meanwhile, Gabby is shocked when Jacob makes a confession and she suggests they should stick together in sympathy. Gabby steals a bottle of vodka and the pair head to the pavilion, where they play a drinking game before they end up kissing.

Elsewhere, Leyla is frustrated that Megan has brought baby Eliza into the office, but Megan is determined to prove she can cope. Jai mentions to Harriet how Megan is refusing help and Harriet suggests an idea.

Also, Belle has a rash but when she goes to the doctors, she is shocked to learn that Dr Bailey is married.

Finally, Leyla surprises David by turning up to support him, while Joanie is annoyed by Zak's jealousy over Rishi.

Bernice is rocked when Chrissie tells her that Lawrence was behind Andy's attack.

Later, Chrissie comes across an old letter from Ronnie Hale. Keen to find out if he could be her real dad, Chrissie looks him up on a search engine and it's clear she's not letting this go.

Meanwhile, Jacob stumbles, which gives away that he's been drinking. David realises Jacob is suffering more than he thought. Ashley also smells the alcohol on Gabby.

Elsewhere, Harriet invites Megan to the mother and baby group, but Megan is fed up with people thinking she can't cope. Megan later apologises and enquires about getting Eliza christened.

Also, Dr Bailey is is perturbed to realise that Belle knows he's married. Will he talk her round?

Finally, Zak wonders if he can accept a relationship on Joanie's terms as she tells him that she's a bit of a flirt sometimes.

Zak secretly fights his jealousy over Rishi's friendship with Joanie. However, the green-eyed monster soon gets too much for Zak and he punches Rishi hard - witnessed by a mortified Lisa and Belle. Joanie and Zak's relationship changes footing as Joanie explains that she'd marry him, giving him a blunt ultimatum.

Meanwhile, Laurel thinks Gabby should be grounded for what she's done, but Ashley disagrees. Later, David hides his real concern over his test, feeling guilty about keeping his dad in the dark. Gabby puts her foot in it, upsetting and concerning Pollard.

Elsewhere, Lisa can't help sharing her upset with Belle. Belle throws caution to the wind as she heads to the doctors' surgery and kisses Dr Bailey.

Also today, Megan annoys Jai by asking Sam to be Eliza's godfather, while Chrissie confides in Andy about how Ronnie could be her father.

Big trouble could be brewing on Emmerdale tonight (April 4), with more tell-tale signs that Holly Barton is developing a scandalous crush on her stepdad Cain Dingle.

Holly (Sophie Powles) was more than a little frosty towards Cain when she returned to the village last month, but she's since warmed to him after he helped her to deal with her villainous ex-boyfriend Dean.

Moira is happy that Holly has decided to stay

Viewers have already spotted clues that Holly has feelings for Cain (Jeff Hordley) and there'll no doubt be a few more tonight as she urges him to show her how to throw a punch.

Getting slightly carried away, Holly ends up punching Cain in the face as he teaches her - but she enjoys the banter with him in the aftermath. Could it be that Holly's feelings for Cain are the reason she's staying in the village?

Emmerdale airs these scenes tonight at 7pm on ITV.

Just how redeemed is Emmerdale's Robert Sugden? We may get an answer tonight (April 7) as he faces a moral dilemma over the fate of Lawrence White.

Robert (Ryan Hawley) has never been Lawrence's biggest fan and their feud is about to be reignited when he discovers that the Home Farm boss was responsible for the recent attack on Andy.

Never one to let an opportunity slip by, Robert threatens to use his new-found knowledge against Lawrence (John Bowe) and old hostilities re-emerge between the two men.

Later on, Chrissie also learns the truth and Lawrence suffers a worrying health scare as he faces the stressful possibility of losing his family. It's Robert who finds Lawrence having a cardiac arrest, but will he help the businessman or leave him to die?

Spoilers say that Robert leaves Lawrence to die tonight (7 Apr), but Lawrence is found by Bernice and he is taken to hospital for treatment, being released the following week. By then though, Andy has already moved in with Chrissie at Home Farm (week beginning 11 Apr).

Soaplife (9-22 April 2016) says:

Jealous husband Lawrence White thought his wife, Bernice, was sleeping with Andy Sugden... and he made a secret phone call and had him beaten up.

Then he realised that daughter Chrissie was Andy's lover - and she realised what her father had done and told Bernice. Distressed, Lawrence had a heart attack and Chrissie's ex, Robert Sugden, found him and left him to die.

Fortunately Bernice saved Lawrence's life, and Andy and Chrissie grew ever closer.
