EastEnders fans can expect heartbreaking scenes later this month as Ben Mitchell is tricked into thinking that Abi Branning has lost his unborn baby.
Ben (Harry Reid) is left devastated when Abi tells the wicked lie, keen for any way to get out of the mess she's created for herself recently.
Viewers have seen Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) desperately cling on to her relationship with Ben by pretending to be pregnant with his child, but she knows that this deception can't carry on for too long.
When Abi later suffers a public fall at the Queen Vic, her partner-in-crime Aunt Babe puts a shocking plan into action by encouraging her to pretend that she's lost the baby.
Abi reluctantly listens to her advice and Ben later hears that his girlfriend has been rushed to hospital in a supposed medical emergency.
When they're reunited at the Queen Vic later, a guilty Abi has to tell Ben that she's lost their baby as a result of her accident.
A crushed Ben is unable to process the news and rushes out of the pub, but when Abi follows to check whether he's okay, she's upset to find her love rival Paul Coker (Jonny Labey) already comforting him.
Is Abi about to lose Ben despite her recent drastic efforts?

Abi has suffered a fall at the Queen Vic and Aunt Babe has a plan to use it to their advantage. Not long afterwards, Kathy arrives to tell Ben that Abi has been to hospital after what happened.
Later at The Vic, a guilty Abi tells a heartbroken Ben that she has lost the baby, but she is later upset to see him being comforted by Paul. Has Abi lost Ben despite her best efforts?
Meanwhile, Ben is also trying to help Phil following his latest drunken behaviour, but they're interrupted when Louise arrives to see her dad. Ben sends Louise away as Phil is in no fit state to see her. He then turns to Ronnie for help and claims that Phil isn't capable of looking after the businesses with his current problems.
When Ben and Ronnie get Ritchie on board and try to talk to Phil, he reacts badly by kicking everyone out of his house and declaring that nobody is taking over his businesses. Later, after the heartbreaking news about the baby, Ben approaches a drunken Phil while he's asleep on the sofa. Clutching a pillow, will Ben do the unthinkable?

Meanwhile, still feeling unwelcome at The Vic, Nancy heads to the Masood house to rest. Worried for Nancy, Tamwar stands up for her to Mick - telling him that she needs her dad.
Elsewhere, Kush decides that Arthur is better off without him, so he tells Stacey and Martin that he doesn't want to be in the baby's life after all.
Also today, Kyle is roped in to help cook at The Vic as Babe and Abi are out. When Kyle manages to impress, Ian offers him the chance to cook at the half-marathon party.

Sharon walks in to find Ben attempting to suffocate Phil and quickly stops him. When Sharon comforts Ben, a furious Phil tells them to leave - but Sharon makes a threat of her own and forces Phil to go instead. Not long afterwards, Ben goes missing.
Soon afterwards, Phil's behaviour spirals out of control and he begins to destroy The Arches. The situation becomes even more horrifying when Phil gets into a digger and starts to destroy the car lot too. As the horrified residents look on, they quickly realise someone is inside. Has Phil just killed someone?

With tensions running high for everyone, Shirley finds Ben in McKlunky's. She has Heather on her mind and gives Ben a reality check about what he's done in the past, adding that Phil is already being punished. Taking this on board, Ben goes to find Phil at the destroyed car lot and comforts his devastated dad.
Meanwhile, Abi finds herself with a new crisis to worry about when Babe threatens to reveal that she was never pregnant.
Elsewhere, Tamwar attempts to reunite Nancy with her family. Linda also begs Mick to make amends with Nancy, but he insists that Ollie has changed and stands his ground by telling his wife that he can never forgive their daughter.

Linda is distraught when Ollie doesn't react in his usual way to a nursery rhyme. She confides in Sharon by explaining that Ollie isn't the same as before his accident. Linda also remembers that the health visitor is due today.
Later, Lee tells her Nancy that she has to come home to help with the health visitor as Linda is nowhere to be found and Mick is struggling on his own. Although she just wants to help, Mick isn't happy to see Nancy return. After being called by Whitney, Elaine arrives and takes control, but will the Carters get any answers?

Mick and Linda are determined to get answers about Ollie, so they visit the doctor. Later, Linda also goes to see Honey and apologises for her earlier behaviour. The pair have a heart-to-heart about their children and Linda realises they can get through this if they stick together as a family.
Back home, Linda tells Mick that he has to forgive Nancy and calls a family meeting. Will Mick finally set aside his differences with his daughter?
Meanwhile, Shirley and Buster go for a meal, but the subject of Phil soon comes up and Shirley storms out. Kathy oversees the commotion and talks to Buster about Phil and Shirley, but does Buster have other ideas in mind?

It's the moment that EastEnders fans have been waiting for next week, as Phil Mitchell furiously goes on the rampage and starts destroying various parts of Albert Square.
The Walford hardman is known for his temper tantrums, but when he climbs into a digger to cause the ultimate destruction, it's clear that this is a rage-fuelled outburst that the Square will never forget.
Phil (Steve McFadden) is angered when his son Ben and cousin Ronnie start making plans to take control of his businesses, fearing that he's in no fit state to look after them while he's drinking so heavily.
Ben and Ronnie even get the family's trusty lawyer Ritchie Scott on board to speak to Phil, but he reacts badly by insisting that nobody will be stepping on his territory.
Resorting to drastic measures to prove his point, Phil kicks off the Square's day from hell by destroying The Arches in a violent outburst.
