Villainous Jacka is an old acquaintance of Steph Scully, and will return to Ramsay Street at her request.

But it will quickly become apparent that Jacka is not all he seems and there could be some seriously big trouble brewing - and of course, he'll be right at the middle of it.

Speaking about his new role, McMurray said: "It's a great show to be apart of and I'm quite adept at playing the bad guy, so this is really a lot of fun.

"I love causing trouble, and there are definitely a few surprises in store where Jacka is concerned."

McMurray's previous credits include Black Comedy, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries and Sea Patrol.

Neighbours will air Jacka's first scenes next month.

Who does think that Jacka caused/is involved/is responible for the explosion?

If you think Jacka is fully/partially responsible for the explosion please use the 'thanks' option to give your vote!

We thought Jacka Hills would rot away in prison and never be mentioned again after he confessed to his role in causing the Lassiters blast, but the Neighbours writers are far from done with him yet.

It all kicks off again when Jacka discovers that his wife Regan has been having an affair with Ned Willis, sending him into a fury and making him determined to get his revenge. Jacka isn't messing about, either - his determination to get even with Ned could prove deadly and will have far-reaching consequences on Ramsay Street.

I'm guessing yes, probably from his gang days. I say he's involved in the hot air balloon crash.

I think they were shown talking furtively during Ned's first stint. Ned didn't want anything to do with him.

I'm finding Jacka's abrupt elevation from two-bit crim for hire to some kind of ruthless criminal mastermind that even Mark is wary of a bit hard to swallow.

All hell breaks loose on Neighbours next week as Elly Conway attracts the attentions of bad boy Jacka Hills.

Jacka (Brad McMurray) is returning to cause even more chaos for Ramsay Street, as a gripping new storyline sees him discover that Ned Willis has slept with his wife. This can't end well...

Jailbird Jacka is the dangerous husband of Ned's ex-lover Regan. Viewers recently saw Regan turn up unexpectedly at The Waterhole, causing huge problems for Ned's new romance with Elly (Jodi Anasta).

Those issues only get worse over the next few days as Elly sees Ned (Ben Hall) leave Ramsay Street with Regan, rushing her off to safety once they realise that Jacka is seeking revenge against them.

Ned isn't gone for long, as he returns to Erinsborough in time for his father Brad's stag party - but it seems that Elly is already swiftly moving on by the time that he's back.

Angry and upset over Ned's behaviour, Elly goes to The Waterhole in search of a distraction and she soon finds it when she's joined at the bar by Jacka, who's just been released from jail.

Of course, Jacka's intentions aren't exactly honourable and Ned is furious when he sees them together, going on the attack with back-up from Brad.

Who'll come out on top in this battle of the alpha males?

Neighbours will air a big episode for Elly Conway today (October 3) as she splits from her boyfriend Ned Willis and grows closer to dangerous jailbird Jacka. This is bound to end badly...

Jacka will return to cause even more chaos for Ramsay Street, having discovered that Ned Willis has been having an affair with his wife Regan.

Viewers recently saw Regan turn up unexpectedly at The Waterhole, causing huge problems for Ned's new romance with Elly (Jodi Anasta), who was then left devastated by his disappearing act.

A heartbroken Elly saw Ned (Ben Hall) leave Ramsay Street with Regan, unaware that he was actually rushing her off to safety due to the fact that Jacka was seeking revenge against them.

The clip above shows a furious Elly refuse to forgive Ned for his actions, insisting that his stories simply don't add up.

Angry and upset over Ned's behaviour, Elly goes to The Waterhole in search of a distraction but she soon finds it when she's joined at the bar by Jacka, who's just been released from jail.

Although it's clear that Jacka's up to no good, Elly remains oblivious as she accepts a drink from the villain. But what does he have planned for her? And what will Ned make of her attempts to move on?

We can't see him being too happy, if we're honest...

Ellie is one lady with no street smarts, the way she reacted when Steph asked her to get Ned to leave for his own safety was based purely on what she wanted totally ignoring the fact Ned could be badly hurt or even her family too. But then Ellie is a bunny boiler, boyfriend sealer, jealous unit and huge narcissist.

But then this plot that Jacko is let out of clink is balderdash anyway, his actions killed and he would be a flight risk, not to mention him visiting the scene of his crime before being punished, its like its some kinda soap.
