Lorna Cartwright is coming back to EastEnders.
It's been 18 years since Janet Dibley bowed out of the role back in 1998, but new episodes will see Phil Mitchell's (Steve McFadden) former flame come back into his life, The Sun reports.
Lorna's return storyline sees the pair bump into each other at an AA meeting after Phil decides to get help for his alcohol problem, just like their original meeting back in 1997, with Lorna once again proving a shoulder to cry on.
But it could be a case of history repeating itself as her arrival comes just after Phil and Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) are facing their feelings for one another again - and the last time Lorna and Phil were together, their affair ended Phil's marriage to Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).
Dibley has reportedly only filmed a few episodes so far, so there's no confirmation yet on whether her return is permanent.
The actress first joined the soap in 1997 and left just under a year later in 1998.
Since EastEnders, Dibley has had roles on Casualty, The Bill and Broadchurch, and joined the cast of fellow BBC One soap Doctors as Elaine Cassidy in 2010.
Dibley's first credited episode is listed as March 17, so we can expect to see the sparks fly between Phil and Lorna once again later this week.
