EastEnders will revisit the romantic spark between Phil Mitchell and Shirley Carter later this month.

The former couple will be thrown back into each other's orbits when a down-on-his-luck Phil (Steve McFadden) needs a place to stay, which prompts Shirley to step in and let him sleep on the sofa at her place.

Shirley's act of kindness doesn't go down too well with her partner Buster Briggs, who isn't pleased to have Phil hanging around and cramping their style.

Realising the situation isn't ideal, Shirley (Linda Henry) later turns to Phil's estranged wife Sharon for help but has no luck getting the troubled alcoholic off her hands.

With Shirley resigned to spending even more time with Phil, they reminisce over the past back at home and it's not long before their old chemistry becomes apparent.

As Shirley battles temptation, will she give in and reignite her relationship with her old flame?

Meanwhile, Mick confides in Shirley and reveals they won't know if Ollie has sustained any damage until it's obvious in his behaviour. Shirley is still adamant that he shouldn't be blaming Nancy, but Mick continues to give his daughter the cold shoulder. Later, Nancy appears with a hold-all and tells Shirley that she's going to stay with Johnny in Italy. Shirley begs her to stay and tries to make excuses for Mick's bad attitude.

Elsewhere, Ben's party goes downhill when a drunken Phil arrives and is shunned by Ben. Later, Ben confides in Paul about the pressure he feels when they get some time alone, but Paul pulls away when Ben tries to kiss him.

Thursday

With Ollie back home, Mick grows paranoid by suggesting that his behaviour has changed. Linda disagrees and insists that Ollie is fine, but Mick thinks she's just in denial and turns to Honey and Billy for advice. Honey shares some advice with Mick, explaining how she felt when she learned that Janet had Down's Syndrome.

Later, Mick arrives back at The Vic with Honey and tells Linda that they need to accept Ollie might have changed, but Linda becomes angry and insists that Honey should go.

As tensions rise further, Mick storms downstairs and throws everyone out out of The Vic. As Linda also starts to recognise that Ollie might have changed, Mick takes his anger out on Nancy - leaving her devastated as he admits that he blames her and can never forgive her.

Friday

When Billy is called into work, it means that Phil has to take care of Janet and Will in the Easter egg hunt organised by Nancy. Phil also tries to make amends with Ben, but his son shares some upsetting words which send him straight back to the bottle for comfort. Distracted by this, Phil loses Janet - leaving Billy and Honey frantic with worry.

It's not long before Nancy finds Janet eating chocolate in the barrel store, so she reunites her with a relieved Honey and Billy. Despite Billy's grateful words about Nancy, Mick still refuses to look Nancy in the eye and she storms off. Lee reminds Mick that Nancy organised today to try and reunite the family, but will Mick be prepared to listen?

Nancy was the one who pushed Lee into the high chair, plus she started the argument. I can't remember Whitney doing anything at all.

I think Lee is to blame as well as Nancy

Whitney and Lee have both been out of order. However, when I say Nancy's to blame, I'm not talking about the feud but the actual fight that caused Ollie's injury. Getting violent around a baby - no matter the provocation - is dangerous, reckless and inexcusable. Nancy started that row and Lee was actually trying to get away from her when Ollie was pushed over.

The only way I'd accept she's not to blame is if she's proved to have some kind of neurological problem related to her epilepsy which has caused the recent aggression.
