EastEnders viewers got their very first look at Jack Branning's new fiancée in Thursday night's episode - but it wasn't good news for Ronnie.

Jack (Scott Maslen) gave Ronnie (Samantha Womack) an ultimatum - does she want to be with him or not? - but when she didn't answer, he decided to leave the Square again.

Ronnie changed her mind but struggled to get hold of him… then we saw Jack leaving with his new fiancée Delphine Rousseau (played by Emmanuelle Bouaziz).

It might not be over yet, though.

Next week, Ronnie will have a rather drastic change of heart when she hears that Jack is getting married again - and she races against time to stop the wedding.

I don´t think I would want a man that gives me an ultimatum, then proposes to another woman if I don´t immediately say yes and then, by the sound of it, drops said new fiancee if ex-wife decides she wants to be with ex-husband again ... :nono:

Ronnie did the right thing stopping the wedding because if Jack had been marrying Delphine I think Jack would have lost Ronnie forever But he did not get married to Delphine because he is desperately in love with Ronnie and he always will be and the only person he wants to marry is Ronnie NO one Else
