Desperate to distract herself from her custody problems, Steph kisses Mark.
Terese confesses to Daniel that she and Paul shared a moment of passion during the heatwave but insists that nothing more will happen.
Susan is wary of Karl and Nene's new friendship.
Josh admits that he hates the idea of Doug living in a home and wants the family to come up with another solution.
Wednesday, 9th March
Sonya encourages Steph to make peace with Mark after their kiss ends awkwardly.
Aaron is surprised to discover that Tom Quill's attention towards him is not just business related but when he reveals to Karl how much he still misses Nate he is in for a shock.
Imogen struggles with the distance between herself and Daniel when he is called into work once again.
Thursday, 10th March
With her frustration growing at the lack of quality time with Daniel, Imogen is thrown when she has a sexy dream about Tyler.
Aaron turns to Susan and Karl for answers about Nate's return but he does not like the answers.

Piper is stunned when an old client of Brad's turns up, who is revealed to be the mysterious 'Chas' that she was talking to when she first arrived.
Imogen is troubled by her dream and tries to clear her mind but things only get more complicated when a bike ride with Tyler takes a romantic turn.
The Citizen of the Year launch goes horribly wrong when the guests contract food poisioning.

He might have been preparing to marry Paige a few weeks ago, but Mark Brennan will share an unexpected moment of passion with Steph Scully on Neighbours later this month.

The pair are both struggling with problems in their personal lives and will strike up a strong bond in a bid to distract themselves, but things soon take a surprising turn.

While Steph (Carla Bonner) is currently in the middle of a complicated custody battle for her young son Charlie, Mark is facing troubles of a different kind following his ill-fated nuptials.

When Mark (Scott McGregor) supports Steph over a disagreement with Paul Robinson, she will later decide to kiss him, in a desperate attempt to distract herself from her problems with Charlie.

Steph reluctantly tells Mark that she'll help him

Although initially taken aback, Mark throws caution to the wind and kisses her back, but the situation soon takes a rather awkward turn when he becomes unsure about taking it further.

Mark's uncertainty leaves Steph feeling rejected, but it's not long before they are the best of friends again and planning to spend even more time together.

Sonya Rebecchi​ is a little concerned that this friendship is on the fast track, and it certainly seems to be the case, but is a romance really brewing for the pair? Or is Mark purely on the rebound?

Neighbours spoiler: Doug makes a heartbreaking decision
Is it time for Doug to go into a care home?

Piper is determined to cover up the fact that Doug was aggressive with her but Lauren finds out what's going on and encourages the kids to tell Brad. Brad consults their doctor, who has advised that it may be time to consider putting Doug into a home. Nobody wants that but it seems to be the only option.
Brad ultimately reveals what happened with Piper to Doug. As Doug laments his actions, he also raises running Paul and Steph off the road. Brad is floored and disappointed in Josh, who's been covering it up for months. At the close of their discussion, it's Doug who makes the heartbreaking decision to go into care - but is he really as comfortable with the idea as he's making out?
Meanwhile, Amy approaches Karl to find out whether there's any nursing work going for Nene at the hospital. Karl looks into it and later reveals that there is a position on offer for Nene to apply for. Nene feels pressured to accept but she later admits to Karl that she left her previous job under dubious circumstances after taking the blame for a mistake a doctor made. Karl offers to go into bat for Nene, helping her attain the registration she needs to work in Victoria.
Elsewhere, Steph meets up with Jacka, an old bikie mate of her ex-boyfriend Woody. Steph invites Jacka and some of his mates back to the motel for an impromptu catch up but Paul is not happy to find a mob of bikers taking up residence in his establishment. Paul later orders the bikers out of the place but Jacka is left very unimpressed with Paul's treatment of Steph. Has Paul upset the wrong people?


Tuesday

Steph and Mark share a shock kiss.
Could this be the start of a relationship?
Steph tries to apologise to Paul after her bikie mates took sweet revenge on him but he's not happy and lashes out at Steph. Already fragile, she declares that she shouldn't be in this business and declares that she's out.
When Mark finds out what happened from Paul, he goes to check up on Steph, under the ruse of getting her help fixing a motorbike carburettor. Steph reluctantly agrees and their friendship further develops as they work. Desperate to distract herself from her custody problems with Charlie, Steph decides to kiss Mark. Although initially taken aback, Mark throws caution to the wind and kisses her back…
Meanwhile, Paul is suspicious when Daniel and Terese offer their help cleaning the motel room. He is resistant at first but he relents when Terese insists they genuinely care about him. As they clean, Daniel picks up on the chemistry between Terese and Paul. Terese confesses that they kissed during the heatwave but declares nothing more will happen. How will she react when Paul later asks her out for dinner?
Elsewhere, Nene is surprised when Karl reveals that he's playing a gig at Off Air later. Impressed, Nene shows up for the occasion. Although the crowd is thin and unenthusiastic, Nene is enjoying Karl's performance and volunteers to join him as a back-up singer. When Susan arrives, she is thrown by Nene and Karl's on-stage rapport and becomes suspicious of Nene's interest in him. Does Susan have anything to worry about?
Also today, when the Willises run into Hilary Robinson returning from one of her 'dates' with Daniel, Brad asks about her home - wanting to find the right place for Doug. Josh isn't pleased with the situation and is pushed to extreme lengths to help Doug.


Wednesday

Steph and Mark face the fallout from their kiss
Can the pair go back to being friends?
Steph and Mark's kiss ends awkwardly when Mark isn't sure about taking it further. Feeling rejected, Steph tells Mark to leave.
A confused Mark confides in Tyler, who warns his big brother that Steph is not the sort of girl you rebound with as she has too much baggage. When Sonya finds out what happened, she encourages Steph to make peace with Mark. When they do make up and decide to spend some time together, Sonya is suddenly feeling like this friendship is on the fast track - it can't end well.
Meanwhile, Aaron is hitting home runs as Sonya's assistant but when the hotel's development manager Tom Quill comes to town, Aaron appears to make a rookie mistake when he accepts free expensive champagne from him. Aaron realises his error when Tom tries to get inside information about Sonya's opinion on the development.
When a second gift arrives for Aaron from Tom, a worried Aaron confesses all to Sonya. She instructs him to return the gifts and leave it at that but when Aaron does, he is surprised to discover Tom's true motive.
Elsewhere, Tyler asks Imogen for her assistance with his costume for the fun run - a kilt. She gets more than she bargained for when she realises that Tyler has gone commando. He encourages her to come to the fun run while waiting for Daniel. When they stop at The Waterhole on the way, Tyler experiences a very public wardrobe malfunction - right in front of the Mayor and Tom Quill.


Thursday

Imogen has a sexy dream about Tyler.
Is her interest moving away from Daniel?
Tyler is banned from The Waterhole under Tom Quill's orders. Imogen protests that the punishment is too extreme but Daniel wonders why she's getting so fired up about it. It's Tyler who gets to the crux of the issue, wondering how long it's been since Imogen and Daniel got physical. Imogen admits it's been a while and she's beyond frustrated. Not only that but Daniel chose to go to work instead of hanging out with her.
Tyler tries to convince Imogen to be honest with Daniel about her feelings but her embarrassment gets in the way. Later, when Imogen drifts off on the couch, she has a sexy dream starring Tyler - and it totally throws her.
Meanwhile, Aaron confronts Susan after discovering that Nate is back in the country but hasn't been in touch. Feeling terrible, Susan can only give him a phone number for the place where Nate might be staying. Aaron calls and leaves a heartfelt message but he doesn't hear anything back. Aaron starts to fear that Nate has moved on.
Elsewhere, Sheila is frustrated with Xanthe and Piper both whinging about how broke they are. So when Lou needs someone to cover a shift at Harold's, she signs up both girls for a trial. The only problem is that Lauren can only take on one new person - who will it be?
Also today, Paige confesses to Lou that she's in over her head with all of the recent changes – being without Mark is hard. Later, Lou bids farewell and heads off on his grey nomad adventure with Eliza.


Friday

Piper gets a blast from the past.
The mysterious "Chas" is finally revealed.
The Willis family are surprised to learn that Brad has been contacted by a former coaching client, Brodie Chaswick, who wants to come to the house to talk to all of them. The Willises speculate that he wants to apologise for his past misdeeds, which include him accusing Brad and Josh of cheating with steroids. Brodie does apologise but he also asks Brad if he would consider coaching him for the upcoming Olympics trial. As the Willis family discuss Brodie's proposal, only Piper is moderately in favour of giving him a chance.
Later, Piper bumps into Brodie and their private, hushed conversation reveals that they have a far closer relationship than either has let on to date. In fact, Brodie is the mysterious "Chas" that Piper was communicating with when she first arrived in Ramsay Street - the boy who broke her heart in Canada.
Meanwhile, Imogen tries to clear her mind of her sexy Tyler dream through excessive exercise but she has to come clean when Paige gets suspicious. Paige argues that humans aren't built for monogamy, which is why Imogen is looking elsewhere. Troubled by this viewpoint, Imogen tries to seduce Daniel at work to prove to herself they're not in a rut but Daniel is stressed and unable to spare the time. Will she turn back to Tyler again?
Elsewhere, Sonya's launch goes horribly wrong when it results in an outbreak of food poisoning.

Mark and Steph have a lot more in common and I think they could actually have some fun .... unlike straight laced Paige who seems to have a constant scowl on her face and is always scheming and interfering. Steph, like Mark (apart from his cleaning fetish) are both a lot more laid back and prepared to see the best in others . Marks paranoia with Paige (not trusting her) stems from her own behaviour and actions knowing it could affect his career.

I definitely wouldn't call Mark laid back. I agree that Paige's actions exacerbated his normal behaviour, but it was still in character for him to react that way. He's behaved similarly towards both his brothers since their arrival (and also more recently towards Steph).
