They've got to stop meeting like this! EastEnders fans will see Ronnie Mitchell get another surprise visit from her old flame Jack Branning next month.

Jack (Scott Maslen) is brought back to Walford with a little help from matchmaker Honey Mitchell, who wants to reunite the former couple.

Ronnie (Samantha Womack) is oblivious to what's going on as she's so busy organising a surprise birthday party for Honey, completely unaware that the birthday girl has a trick of her own up her sleeve.

As the party commences, Honey (Emma Barton) puts the final pieces of her plan into action and tricks Ronnie into playing a game. Ronnie then can't believe her eyes when she finds Jack standing right in front of her.

It's a romantic moment as Ronnie is clearly delighted to see Jack, but her mood turns sour when she realises that he's only there because Honey contacted him.

Billy soon steps in and urges Ronnie not to throw this chance of happiness away, so she rushes after Jack when she sees him heading off in a cab. Jumping inside, will she finally be honest about her feelings?

Viewers saw Jack appear on screen in EastEnders' Christmas episodes late last year, but he's now coming back on a permanent basis.

EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, March 1 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Nancy turns up at Sonia's house to give Whitney her belongings, insisting that Lee doesn't want anything to do with her anymore. However, when Abi tells Lee that Whitney is planning to leave Walford, he realises that he doesn't want to lose his girlfriend and rushes over to apologise to her. After Lee makes an admission of his own, Whitney promises to support him.

Later, Nancy is far from happy when Lee announces that he and Whitney are giving things another go. After advice from Masood, Nancy decides to talk to Whitney and give her a chance, but will she feel any differently when Whitney honestly explains herself?

Soon afterwards, just when there are fresh signs that Whitney is starting to doubt her relationship, Lee shocks her again by proposing...

Meanwhile, a guilty Abi tells Babe what happened on Friday. Despite her confession, Babe is still adamant that they should continue with their scheming and get her pregnant. Abi has had enough of all the deceit and tells Babe that she's going to come clean to Ben, but when she goes to tell him, he drops a bombshell of his own.

Elsewhere, it's Honey's 40th birthday. When Ronnie doesn't get into the spirit of things, Honey realises that she is lonely and will miss her when she moves out. Deciding to help, Honey comes up with a plan.

Ronnie decides to organise a surprise themed birthday party for Honey, as she doesn't think Billy's own efforts are good enough. Honey is also trying to put together her own big surprise for Ronnie. Later at the party, Honey tricks Ronnie into playing a blindfolded game and Ronnie is shocked when she realises that Jack is there waiting for her.

Although Ronnie is delighted to see Jack, her mood turns sour and she storms off when she realises that he's only there because Honey contacted him. Billy intervenes by telling Ronnie that she shouldn't throw this chance of happiness away, but it could be too late as Jack is already leaving again. When Ronnie rushes out and sees Jack getting into a cab, she jumps inside too. Can she win him back for good this time?

Meanwhile, Nancy disapproves of Lee's engagement and clashes with her mum when Linda begins to help with the wedding plans. However, Nancy soon confides in Donna by admitting that there's more to her behaviour than she's making out.

Having received some useful advice from Donna, Nancy apologises to her family and promises to make an effort with Whitney. Unfortunately, the happy Carter family reunion doesn't last for long when Nancy suggests they should go to support Lee on his first shift in his new job. This leads Lee to admit a shocking truth, which leaves Nancy so stunned that she announces she's leaving.

Elsewhere, when Honey and Shirley find visiting orders from Lucas at the Minute Mart, they confront Denise. Denise insists that the papers are for Jordan rather than her. Shirley and Kathy manage to convince Denise it's a bad idea and rip the papers up. Later, Jordan shares some good news with Denise, but how will he react when he finds the ripped-up papers?

Also today, Claudette is angry when Vincent reveals that he's building a separate flat for her in the house. Things get worse for Claudette when she finds herself being blackmailed for money.

Jack is still in Walford, but the atmosphere remains tense as Ronnie is struggling to be honest about her feelings. When Ronnie confides in Sharon about her true feelings, she is encouraged to take a chance on love. Unfortunately, Ronnie's optimism is soon shattered when Phil tells her that a reunion with Jack would ultimately be doomed.

Later, Jack tells Ronnie that his train home is in two hours and he needs an answer today. This is her final chance - does she want to be with him or not?

Meanwhile, Jordan tells Denise that he wants to see Lucas to end things once and for all. Denise joins him at the prison, but it all becomes too much for Jordan. After Denise leaves father and son alone for a short while, Jordan tells her that they should speak to the governor about a work scheme for Lucas. Denise refuses, but Jordan manages to convince her once they're back at home.

Elsewhere, Claudette is desperate for money after being blackmailed. She asks Vincent to give her money to rent a flat instead of building one, but he refuses. Later, Donna tells the family that she wants to have a baby, but is upset by Claudette's unsupportive reaction and storms out. Vincent later confronts Claudette about Donna, giving her an idea.

Also today, Linda tries to give Nancy a peace-making offer, but she turns it down and insists they need to stop tip-toeing around Lee. Later, Linda is relieved when Nancy turns up for a family dinner that Mick has organised at the pub, but the bad atmosphere returns when Nancy hands in her notice.

Finally, when they talk honestly about their relationship, Sharon admits to Phil that she's relieved things will soon be over between them.

Denise prepares to meet with Lucas's governor, but Patrick becomes suspicious about what's going on. His worst fears are confirmed when he speaks to Shirley and Kathy.

As Denise and Jordan are about to leave, a fuming Patrick storms in and confronts the pair about their intentions. Can Patrick convince Denise otherwise?

Meanwhile, Claudette's latest plan starts to fall apart when Vincent realises that he might want the money for something else, sparking a row. Claudette pushes on with her plan regardless and arranges to meet her blackmailer on Mother's Day, but what will she have in store?

Elsewhere, Linda is in shock following Nancy's decision to hand in her notice, but Nancy is reluctant to speak to her. Donna isn't impressed by Nancy's moaning and sets her a challenge when she asks her to cover the market stall. As Linda remains concerned about her daughter, Jane gives her an idea.

Also today, it's time for Ian's trial over the Christmas Day car crash - but what will the outcome be?

Not if it follows with true EE tradition by dragging the story on and on, it won't.

Oh it'll be quite funny if she's pregnant with Lee's baby. I do so want Babe to get gone though. She's going to cause trouble for Les at some point too after taking that photo.

Let's hope that's all she gets. If it turns out Ben does have STD, then there's a good chance Abi could have past it onto Lee now. I can't believe her stupidity! The doc told her to stay away from anyone until they got her results back!
