TW: I think that maybe Sam is showing Megan the burnt-out remains of Kirin's car in the woods when she suddenly starts going into labour and he goes to get help? At this time, Zak just happens to be showing hunting novice Joanie how to hunt like an old hand and she shoots Sam by accident when startled by his sudden appearance? Megan does make it to hospital later, however. Sam is not seriously injured but what can he tell Lisa and the Dingle family about what has happened to keep the family together and at peace?

Over to Emmerdale, and if Joanie Wright was hoping to win favour with the Dingles, then shooting one of them probably wasn't the best way to go about it!

Unfortunately for Joanie (Denise Black), that's exactly what she does when she heads out poaching with her new lover Zak in dramatic scenes next month.

Zak (Steve Halliwell) is keen to give Joanie a shooting lesson out in the woods, but when she fires the shotgun at a tree stump, there's a horrifying moment as she suddenly hears a cry of pain.

As Joanie and Zak rush over to find out who the unlucky victim is, they're stunned to see that it's none other than Zak's son Sam (James Hooton).

Joanie immediately fears the worst and becomes frantic that she could have just killed Sam, but just how bad is the gunshot wound?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, March 3 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.

How the heck did this happen!?

An unfortunate sequence of events leaves both Megan Macey and Sam Dingle in serious danger in the woods as one of them goes into labour and the other is shot. See if you can guess which is which…

Sam and Megan are heading to a scan when the car breaks down. As they get talking, Megan apologises for leading Sam on by treating him too much like her partner.

The chat leaves Sam upset and he runs off into the woods, followed by a guilty Megan.

It’s at this point where her contractions start. Typical, eh?

Realising that both of their mobiles are in the car, Sam runs through the trees back towards the road.

Meanwhile, Zak has taken new partner Joanie out for her first experience of shooting and it turns out that she’s a natural – she manages to shoot Sam to the ground in a freak accident.

As Zak and Joanie rush over to his lifeless body, they are left in a panic as they realise what they’ve done.

Elsewhere in the forest, Megan is frightened and alone as her labour progresses.

Will anyone find her on time to help her deliver her baby – and will Sam survive the shooting?

So Megan and Sam are driving to hospital, have to stop but have a tiff and run off into the woods, Megan collapses alone with baby contractions, Sam goes off for a phone but gets shot by Joanie The Hunter, and Megan is all alone and maybe about to have a cute "babe in the woods".

This sounds like a real hoot! Anyway, we all get to see this on 3 March from 7pm and 8pm on ITV.

Chas is feeling optimistic about the case against Gordon following the news of the 'new victim' who has come forward. However, she is soon left shocked when Gordon turns up, claiming that he knows she paid his neighbour Ryan to say he was abused by him.

Gordon slams Chas against the wall and everyone in the pub is soon shocked to see Marlon pushing Gordon through from the back, while Doug calls the police. Later, Chas is in disbelief as Robert drops a bombshell which could have huge repercussions for Aaron…

Meanwhile, the adoption panel tell Paddy and Rhona that they're being put forward for recommendation, but their bubble of happiness is burst when Vanessa mentions Pearl's concerns. Rhona tells Paddy that Pearl has to move out.

Elsewhere, Lawrence is shocked when he finds the footage of Bernice on Lachlan's laptop. Bernice is horrified to think that Lachlan has been secretly filming her.

Also today, Doug is unimpressed after his stay at the B&B, but Diane thinks they need to be sensitive to Pollard.

With Lachlan now under suspicion, Chrissie is forced to admit that she was the one who was spying on Bernice. Chrissie is incredulous when she learns that Lawrence gave Bernice permission to stray whenever she wants.

Thinking that Lawrence also had a similar arrangement with her mother, Chrissie wonders if her father is gay and even questions whether he is her real biological father. Lawrence is horrified. At the same time, Andy is shocked to hear of Chrissie's honey trap and quits his job at Home Farm.

Meanwhile, Rhona tells Marlon that letting him go might have been the biggest mistake of her life. There's a moment where they're about to kiss, but how far will it go? At the same time, Pearl is hurt when Paddy tells her that she has to move out.

Elsewhere, Robert tries to convince Chas not to tell Aaron the truth about the new witness, but the choice is taken out out of her hands when DS Wise tells them they can now charge Gordon and Aaron resolves to go ahead with it.

Also today, Joanie thinks she should find herself a job as Dan wants more rent, but Zak has a plan.

Robert panics when Ryan arrives in the village and protests that he can't go through with the plan as it's getting out of hand.

As Robert wins Ryan round by offering him more cash, Aaron arrives and looks put out to see Robert with another guy. Will Robert come clean as to what he's up to?

Meanwhile, Chrissie tells Andy that she was out of order. He's thrown when she bursts into tears and tells him that she doesn't know who she is anymore. Andy is gobsmacked to learn how Lawrence offered both Bernice and Chrissie's mother an open marriage. He feels for Chrissie when she tells him that she needs to know if Lawrence is actually her father.

Elsewhere, Rhona admits to Marlon that she and Paddy have been in a really bad place, but Marlon is convinced there's more to it than she's letting on.

Also today, Megan is touched when Sam offers to be her birthing partner. Jai is also stunned and grateful when Megan invites him to her scan the next day.


Airs Thursday 3 March 2016 7pm – 7.30pm, Episode 7440

Megan has a heart-to-heart with Sam while they're out driving together, admitting that she has been treating him too much like a partner. Sam leaves the car and heads towards the woods in a strop. Despite her pain, Megan decides to follow him - keen to make sure there are no misunderstandings between them.

Amid the tension, Sam is shocked when Megan suddenly squats down and tells him the baby is coming. Megan tells Sam to call an ambulance, but they both realise they've left their phones in the car. Sam runs off, while Megan is left praying that she won't have to give birth in the woods.

Meanwhile, Zak and Joanie are also in the woods to do some poaching. Zak says that he'll give Joanie a shooting lesson. Joanie fires the shotgun at a tree stump but is horrified to hear a cry of pain. They soon discover that Joanie has shot Sam...

Elsewhere, Aaron is still upset about what Robert did, but Chas tells him not to make a grand gesture that allows Gordon to get off scot-free. Aaron is left feeling completely torn and visits Ryan, but will he tell him to retract his statement?

Also, Chrissie wonders about a DNA test, while Jai is about to set off to meet Megan at the hospital when David reminds him that he agreed to give Leyla a lift.


Airs Thursday 3 March 2016 8pm – 8.30pm, Episode 7441

Still out in the woods and all alone, Megan fights her rising panic as her labour pains progress.

By chance, Jai is on his way to the scan and spots the car by some trees. He is left uneasy when he calls Megan's phone and goes into the woods to look for her. Will he find Megan?

Meanwhile, Zak and Joanie are relieved when Sam regains consciousness at the hospital, but Joanie is still utterly eaten up with guilt. Zak is overwhelmed with relief as the doctor tells him that Sam is going to be okay, but things soon become tense again when the doctor says that he has a duty to inform the police when someone has been shot. Joanie admits to Sam that she was to blame and he's left torn over what to do.

Elsewhere, Chrissie looks at some DNA sites when she is interrupted by Lachlan. She is privately unsettled by the implications for Lachlan's relationship with Lawrence if she follows this path. Later, Andy tells her that it takes more than DNA to be a proper dad, but will Chrissie agree to put this to rest?

Also, Chas says that Ryan has retracted his statement, but the police have charged Gordon anyway. Later, Aaron tells Robert that all he wants is for them to be mates. Robert is left kicking himself for doing the decent thing by rejecting vulnerable Aaron a few days previously.


Airs Friday 4 March 2016 7pm – 7.30pm, Episode 7442

Megan is now at the hospital. Sam assures her that she'll be the best mum in the world and kisses her, pulling away just before Jai arrives.

Jai is unaware of what he's just missed, but Megan reels from what she has just done. She's left nervous about how she's going to set Sam straight that there isn't anything going on between them.

Meanwhile, Emma's heart sinks when she sees bruises on April's arm. She asks where she got them from, but April evades the question and Emma is concerned when she doesn't want Marlon or Carly to know. Carly panics that April is missing as Emma ushers her back to the café. Emma is on high alert as she watches Carly with April.

I was anti-Robron as it didn't seem 'right' to me, but now after seeing Robert come through for Aaron and understand and be patient etc I am changing my stance. I hope - in time- they do get to be together as a couple

Stunned by revelations concerning Lawrence’s sex life – or lack of one – Chrissie is left wondering whether he is really her biological father.

After Bernice falls for her honey-trap and is secretly filmed meeting ‘Hot Tony’ for an illicit date, Chrissie is shocked to learn that Lawro had given his wife permission to cheat whenever she wants.

Chrissie ponders whether he had a similar open marriage with her late mum Ellen and starts to wonder whether he may be in the closet.

Furthermore, if Lawrence is gay, is he even Chrissie’s real dad at all?

Later in the week, Chrissie bursts into tears when expressing her doubts to Andy.

She insists she needs to know for sure and starts to investigate getting a parental DNA test. It’s all gone a bit Jeremy Kyle!

Emmerdale's Robert Sugden faces a bittersweet day in tonight's episode (March 2) as he realises that he may have pushed Aaron Livesy too far.

Robert (Ryan Hawley) seems to be growing closer to Aaron by the minute when they team up to fix Victoria's car at the scrapyard, but the return of Ryan to the village soon threatens to ruin everything.

It turns out that Ryan (George Sampson) is ready to pull out of his secret deal with Robert, as the fallout of his false allegations against Gordon has become too much to deal with.

Robert reacts to the crisis in typical style by offering Ryan even more money, but when Aaron clocks their suspicious exchange and demands answers, it sets the stage for him discovering Robert's shocking bribe. Can he ever forgive Robert for this?


Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.

We always knew Robert Sugden's latest Emmerdale scheme would end badly, and the inevitable finally happened in Wednesday night's episode (March 2) as he faced the upsetting consequences.

Robert (Ryan Hawley) realised that he'd jeopardised his whole future with Aaron Livesy after his plan to engineer a false sex abuse allegation against Gordon unravelled in tense scenes.

Aaron's mum Chas (Lucy Pargeter) was responsible for revealing the truth to him, as he was plagued by guilt after meeting newcomer Ryan for the first time and hearing his false story.

Aaron had reacted badly to hearing Ryan's story, feeling terrible that Gordon supposedly struck again because he didn't report him earlier.

Knowing that the guilt of this would eat Aaron up, Chas told him that Ryan's story was a pack of lies as he'd been paid by Robert to make a wrongful accusation.

Furious and tearful after hearing the truth, Aaron told Robert: "This whole court case could fall apart now - and if it does, it's down to you. Everything I've been through will all be for nothing."
