I also wonder what is going on? The show has no gay couple yet the writers seem to be stretching out this lack of reuniting. Robert had come to terms with his sexuality. Aaron told Robert his secret that is massive for him to tell Robert. I am disappointed in how vulnerable the writers are making Aaron why does he always have to be the depressed tragic gay man? Can gay men never be happy on Emmerdale? Why are Finn, Robert, and Aaron still single? The show treats heterosexuals and gays differently.

I don't think Robert has fully come to terms with his sexuality yet but I do think he genuinely loves Aaron so would like to see them be a proper couple

Neither do I Tammy.!

He may love Aaron the Sws are going to
have to retcon massively to write away
his previous history.
I "like " both Robert & Aaron as indivdual
characters but as a couple they are very
unequalled matched!
I think it takes more than some viewers
to want something to make it realistic.!

I will take a lot more skilled writing than
Soap SWs usually are able to show- for it
to have here( imo)!!

So all hetrosexual couples are blissfully happy in emmerdale. Like erm laurel and ashley no i mean david and alisha ok how about debbie and ross moira and cain (pete) chas and aarons dad, jimmy and nicola (and all his random kids) priya and rakesh or val and eric. Yes couples have their ups and downs and affairs and betrayal and explosive secrets about killing someone or trying to kill someone. Relationship misery in emmerdale is aimed at all relationships of all sexual orientation. If youre looking for under representation then whete are the non nationals where are the african ethic groups. Where are the adults with learning disabilities. Where are the people with physical dusabilities? Soaps cant represent all walks of life and i personally would rather see humour or drama than any of the relationship stuff. Might be in the minority but get a tad tired of all posts leading to "robron" even when they start out as nothing to do with them
Rant over. Normal service will be resumed when ive had a good nights sleep. If my dad doesnt wake up and start banging the walls and windows that is!!!

Feisty Emmerdale favourite Nicola King makes a promise that she won't be able to keep next week, vowing to become a stay-at-home mum.

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) makes the vow in support of her husband Jimmy, who now has his young sons Elliot and Carl back in his life.

When Carl's mum Juliette tells Jimmy (Nick Miles) that he can have parental responsibility from now on, it's clear that big changes will be needed at the King household.

Nicola leaves Jimmy touched when she promises to quit her job in order to take care of the kids, but she is secretly uncertain about whether it's really the right move for her.

Nicola hands in her resignation for her job at Home Farm

Sure enough, it's not long before Nicola struggles with full-time parenthood - feeling utterly bored without her job to focus on.

It's a totally different story for Jimmy, who panics when Rakesh Kotecha demands to see the business accounts following strict instructions from jailed Charity Dingle.

Jimmy knows that he hasn't kept up with the books since Charity was sent to prison last year, leaving him with a frantic rush to get up to date again.

Desperately needing something else to focus on, Nicola soon looks through the books herself, leaving Jimmy to spend some quality time with the kids.

Emma visits Charity in jail on Wed 3 Feb.

all about soap wrote "With Charity's release date only a matter of weeks away, Cain's missus decides this is the perfect chance to lay down some ground rules before her jailbird love rival moves in with them. Realising Charity's on a mission to wreck her marriage, rattled Moira returns home to Cain to talk things through. The couple agree to put on a united front as far as Charity is concerned. But how long will this last once a released Charity starts meddling?"

all about soap, ending 12 February 2016

TW:
1. I think Charity might maybe cash in some or all of her interests in the haulage company with Jimmy and become Chas's silent partner at the pub? Maybe Charity even moves into The Woolpack?
2. Now that Laurel and Ashley have moved into Mulberry Cottage, maybe Robert moves into their previously rented cottage himself (it's part of the Home Farm Estate and Chrissie did let Laurel and co leave the cottage without much resistance)?
3. I reckon Emma's attempt to blackmail Charity to try to make Charity sign an agreement that Ross is Moses's father should fail. Charity is just too nasty and smart? Ross/Emma really need to get a definitive DNA test done really for Ross and Moses. Charity did sleep with Ross before Jan 2015 (I think this was just the once? So can we really assume that rubbish Ross is so terrific in bed and overly fertile and just caught Charity at so really the right time of the month...? Anyway, back to the real world...). Charity was sent to jail in Jan 2015 for perverting the course of justice but is due back in Emmerdale real soon in a matter of weeks...

You just couldn't make this up. Oh, hang on. I think that the storyliners on Emmerdale may already have and we're all going to see this real soon on ITV...? haha!

every one is not straight but also everyone
who is-is not in a relationship every minute
of their lives.
Straight people are on their own for periods
of time- so its realistic surely that gay men
will.be too ?!

Meanwhile, Moira gets a visiting order asking her to take Noah to see Charity. She thinks it's a good opportunity to lay down some ground rules with Charity before she moves in. Moira warns Charity to keep her hands off Cain, but is thrown that Charity knows about her kiss with Pete. Later Cain and Moira put on a united front regarding Charity, but will it work?

Elsewhere, Jimmy is concerned when Rakesh says that Charity wants him to review the business accounts. Nicola smells a rat as Jimmy fobs Rakesh off over the books. Nicola pales when she learns that Jimmy hasn't kept up with the books since Charity went to prison.

Also, Moira is relieved that Pete only got a six-month sentence.

Airs Friday, Feb 05 2016 at 19:00 GMT on ITV, Episode 7418

When Chas talks to Aaron, will Aaron finally go to the police about his dad?

Meanwhile, Nicola is bored looking after the kids, while Jimmy has been up all night looking at the books for Rakesh. She offers to take a look for him while he sorts the kids out. Both realise they need to swap roles when Nicola tells Jimmy that she has sorted the paperwork as well as reorganised the rota. They're both thrilled with Nicola's suggestion of Jimmy becoming a full time dad.

Elsewhere, Rakesh is stung when Kirin tells him how good Rishi has been, but Kirin is struggling with a crying Johnny - he's clearly not coping.

Also today, Diane has a plan although Pollard isn't keen.

Pollard's in danger of losing his alcohol licence. (4 Feb)

all about soap, ending 12 February 2016

TW:
Pollard finds himself in trouble at the B&B because of a delivery of dodgy wine by Dodgy Duncan and is in danger of losing his alcohol licence. Sounds like Duncan's payback for Tracy and Carly turning down his romantic offers previously and then stealing his boxes of wine from his van for later resale in David's shop...

Jimmy's delighted by Nico the housewife, but will his career-driven missus regret giving up so much for her hapless other half? Sure enough, the harmony doesn't last long, and Jimmy acts all jumpy when Rakesh asks to look at the business accounts... Smelling a rat, Nicola gets the accounts out for herself, only to discover that Jim's not kept up with any money matters since Charity was sent down a year ago. As Jimmy sweats, Nicola takes charge and sorts it out. Then she suggests she take over his job [at the haulage business] and he stay at home with the kids! Is this a new start for the Kings?

all about soap, fortnight ending 12 February 2016

He's [Jimmy] clearly nervous when Rakesh announces Charity has asked him to look over the haulage company books prior to her release from jail, and Nicola spot her man's angst.

So is this for Charity to get money to be a silent partner with Chas in the pub?

Of course, Chas could maybe get a bank loan and own the pub all by herself but this storyline sounds too boring to me for Emmerdale. Robert would be a dark horse right now but Chas's attitude towards him should change after Aaron's big reveal on Wed 3 Feb.

It's a busy week for Charity when it comes to social callers! Not only does Emma pop by to say hello, but there's a further face-off after Charity sends Moira a visiting order, demanding she bring in Noah to see her.

Fearless Moira is well up for the challenge, as she hopes to put Charity straight on a few house rules before she's released from jail to move in with Moira and Cain on the farm. Well aware of Charity's feelings for former flame Cain, Moira warns her nemesis in no uncertain terms to keep her hands to herself.

Inside Soap, 30 Jan-5 Feb 2016

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Tuesday 2 Feb and Wednesday 3 Feb on ITV

TW:
I'm not sure yet where Charity is going to stay when she returns to Emmerdale. Debbie's house is now rented to Laurel and Ashley. Charity could buy Diane's share of the pub and move in there eventually with Chas, or Charity could squash in with Noah and Moses in Emma's small house. Inside Soap (above) suggests Charity might move in with Moira and Cain, but surely feisty Moira would have more sense than to let this happen. Of course, this is Emmerdale... the last fireworks were about 4 weeks ago. Charity moving into Butlers Farm with Moira and Cain would be one of the most scripty and incredible storylines for ages, I reckon. There may be trouble ahead...

Your comment sounds typically heterosexist, at least there are straight couples on Emmerdale you have several to choose from. By contrast, gay people are treated differently. Finn Barton has not had a boyfriend in over a year and Aaron and Robert are still not a proper gay couple. Aaron and Robert have been apart for six months by the writers no gay sex and no kissing either. Would a heterosexual couple not kiss nor have sex for six months I doubt it.

Emmerdale's Chas Dingle makes a shocking decision tonight (February 1) after exchanging some very harsh words with her son Aaron Livesy.

Aaron goes on the warpath after learning that Chas (Lucy Pargeter) has secured the money to buy Diane Sugden's share of the pub - convinced that his father Gordon must be involved in some way.

When Aaron (Danny Miller) accuses Chas of going behind his back, she's furious over his attitude - especially since it's the day of her court case and she wants his support right now.

Completely unaware of just how much Aaron needs her at the moment, Chas has a nasty row with her son and eventually tells him that he should find somewhere else to live. Stung by her ultimatum, will Aaron agree to move out?

Emmerdale airs these scenes tonight at 7pm on ITV.

By Daniel Kilkelly, Digital Spy
http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emmerdale/news/a781883/picture-of-the-day-emmerdales-chas-dingle-kicks-out-her-troubled-son-aaron/

TW:
Presumably the court case is a hearing about Chas stabbing Diane on 25 November. (A charge of unlawful wounding or worse?). Presumably this comes to nothing again long-term? If Chas gets a criminal conviction for something, I don't think she would be allowed to hold an alcohol licence for the pub and so not be pub landlady. She could work there for someone else holding the licence, of course.

DS spoilers say Chas tells Aaron tonight that she's got a bank loan to buy Diane's half of the pub.
"Aaron is surprised to see the pub's 'for sale' sign getting taken down. He assumes it's because of Gordon and questions Chas, but she gets frustrated at his questions and tells him that she got a bank loan for the pub. Aaron thinks Chas is still seeing Gordon and this is the final straw for her. She tells Aaron that she wants him to move out."

I think that this could be a "little white lie" from Chas about having a bank loan for now just to keep Aaron quiet and sweet for the time being about her being with Gordon. There's a lot of secrecy around Emmerdale right now, these are just some of the missing parts of some storylines at the moment.

its a small rural village with a population of 35 people maximum? just by law of averages, and rural settings, what are the chances of it having a gay couple?

and don't forget there was in its history, Zoe and Frankie, Zoe and charity, Zoe and...well many, Johny and Paul, Vanessa and Rhona for a bit of titillation....Finn and the HIV +ve nurse....

so for a small knit community Emmerdale hasn't done badly in showing gay relationships

I think that with the current storyline explaining Aaron´s behaviour when he first joined Emmerdale he needs a lot of help before he can enter a relationship and I hope that this will be shown before he gets back with Robert, if that is what is meant to be

Yes this story line with Aaron & his dad needs to run it's course before going there with Aaron/Robert, they shouldn't rush them into a relationship but build it up slowly and deal with Aaron's issues he's going to have first.

Emmerdale's Moira Dingle gets tough tonight (February 3) as she pays a tense visit to her arch-rival Charity in prison.

Moira (Natalie J Robb) takes Noah along to the jail so that he can see his mum, but her main mission is to set some strict ground rules before Charity is released.

Nervous about having Charity (Emma Atkins) living under her roof once she's out, Moira warns her not to bother trying to get her claws into Cain.

Charity is clearly amused by Moira's concerns and soon manages to wind her up by mentioning her recent kiss with Pete Barton. With Moira rattled, has Charity won this round?

I am in complete shock.

I usually am surfing the internet around every midnight for latest soap news releases but I read soapboards throughout each day for updates over short whiles.

I didn't get to read any deleted posts.

I am completely horrified that the global soapboards status description for Serena Williams has become "Exterminated". I don't want to think for a moment that Serena did this herself. Hitler was all for removing "undesirables" from his wannabe "supereurope". Moderator and leader Siobhan really needs to explain further to us, I reckon.

I for one have travelled a real lot and met many thousands of people, so I suppose I can really stand up high and say I have a real lot of life experience and I know and am aware of what can and goes on on Earth.

Tellywatcher, the posts by Serena were extremely rude and attacked a lot of board members which is not allowed. if you had seen them and they were directed and you, you would have also asked for him/her to be removed. "Exterminated" is a status that comes with the soapboard skins, it is a predefined status for anyone who has been removed from the boards. If this offends you, send a mail to Norman Bates who is the owner.

I also appreciate not been called Hitler. I didn't remove Serena for fun or cause I didn't like her, I removed Serena following a lot of abusive post and many complaints by members here

Devastated Chas Dingle angrily demands answers from Gordon Livesy as Emmerdale airs more emotional scenes tonight (February 4).

Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is facing every mother's worst nightmare following her son Aaron's revelation that he was sexually abused by Gordon throughout his childhood.

When Chas pays a visit to Gordon (Gary Mavers) tonight, he initially assumes that she wants to reignite their romance - and even offers to speak to Aaron about it. However, Gordon soon realises that the truth is out as Chas warns him not to go anywhere near Aaron again.

Desperate to discredit Aaron, evil Gordon quickly protests his innocence and even has his own false version of events to offer. But will it be enough to make Chas doubt Aaron?
