I hope Ross gets the legal advice that he is being pushed for by Emma. Maybe this will be the bit MP suggested we would be pleasently surprised.

Whilst Ross isnt innocent in a lot of trouble he gets linked to none of his arrests being followed thriugh. Whereas Charity has gone to prison so Ross would have a good chance of getting Moses.

Aaron is shocked to realise that he's made Robert doubt him. Robert thinks he's lost Aaron as he walks away.

Later, Chas is heartbroken when Gordon dumps her, telling her that he can't break up a mother and son.

Meanwhile, Kirin is stressed at having to juggle work and a baby. Can Kirin cope with being a dad and a businessman?

Elsewhere, Ross is winded to see the finality of Debbie's disappearance as Cain gives Laurel the keys to Mulberry. Ross secretly grabs Cain's phone and finally gets through to Debbie. When Cain finds him talking to his daughter, how will he react?

Also today, Nikhil is pleased that Leyla will be moving into Farrer's when David asks her to look after Jacob while he goes to Portugal to sort things with Alicia.

Finally, Carly is keen to get rid of the stolen wine quickly and gets the perfect opportunity when David asks her to look after the shop.

It's moving day for Ashley and Laurel, but things go wrong when Laurel falls off a ladder.

Also today, Chas tells Marlon that she has got someone else who is interested in the pub. She clearly has high expectations of the call she is about to make.

Finally, Vanessa suggests that a struggling Kirin should take paternity leave, while Leyla is happy to see Nikhil and Jacob bonding.

Laurel continues to lie to Ashley that she doesn't want the baby because of her previous drink problem, but Ashley is adamant that she can't terminate the pregnancy.

Laurel admits to Nicola she can't face losing her baby, but has to because of Ashley's condition. Doug is blunt with Ashley and tells him to put Laurel first.

Meanwhile, Kirin is relieved when Rishi offers to cover the business for him while he takes paternity leave. Rakesh feels hurt as a result.

Elsewhere, Aaron is troubled at the distance between himself and his mum. Later, Chas tells Lisa that she has found a business partner but is keeping it a secret for now.

Also today, Joanie wants Lisa to help bring Zak and Belle closer together again. Lisa takes revenge on interfering Joanie by dumping off Zak's pigs at Dale View. Zak suggests to Joanie that they should go to stay in Abe's place in Ireland for a while.

Finally, Paddy clearly has a plan when he invites Tess to come along to a vet conference with him.

Paddy and Tess arrive at the hotel, both excited about their night away together. At the same time, Rhona discovers that they've got through to the panel stage of the adoption and she calls Paddy to tell him. Paddy immediately decides to cut short his stay at the hotel and tells Tess that it's over between them.

Soon afterwards, Vanessa encourages Rhona to go and surprise Paddy at the conference. When Rhona arrives at reception, she begins to head up to his room...

Meanwhile, Laurel tells Ashley that the doctor has advised her to allow herself more time to make a decision about the baby. Later, Laurel comes downstairs after a shower and is scared as she tells Ashley that she's bleeding.

Elsewhere, today should be Lisa and Zak's wedding anniversary. Kerry tells Belle that Zak and Joanie have gone to house sit in Ireland. Belle is adamant that Lisa shouldn't find out, but it's not long before Pearl puts her foot in it.

Also, Noah is hurt when Cain gets a visiting order from Charity and he hasn't been included.

Paddy and Tess panic when Rhona arrives at their hotel room door. Paddy forces Tess into the bathroom and Rhona invites herself in.

Later, Rhona and Paddy agree to eat together in the hotel restaurant - but Rhona soon spots Tess and calls her over. Tess lies that she is there with Pierce and accepts as Rhona invites her to have some champagne. With Tess now a woman scorned, Paddy prepares for the worst - convinced that she will reveal their affair.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, the sonographer tells Laurel that she cannot say for sure if she has lost the baby. Laurel is advised to wait and take it easy. Back home, Laurel is devastated and continues to blame herself as she tells Doug that she's lost her baby, not wanting sympathy from him or Ashley.

Elsewhere, Lawrence is unimpressed with Nicola having baby Carl at work and tells her that she needs to sort something out quickly.

Also today, Emma tells Noah that he needs to get Cain on side to stay at Butler's once Charity is out of prison, offering to help him.

Noah is stunned when he overhears Moira say that Charity sold him when he was a baby. A tearful Noah later answers the phone to his mum and she realises that she has her work cut out when he questions why she sold him.

Later, Noah sneaks out of the house with a backpack. Emma finds him walking on his own and is surprised by what he tells her.

Also today, Laurel and Ashley pray for their baby in church.

Finally, Emma suggests that Ross should get some legal advice on his rights over Moses.

At the start of the week, Ma Dingle is upset because her wedding anniversary is fast approaching, but she’s in no mood for romance with cheating Zak.

Joanie has the gall to suggest she should help young Belle try to bond with her father again.

Lisa takes revenge on the interfering so-and-so by rounding up Zak’s pigs and dumping them at Dale View.

Zak realises his family don’t want him around, so he suggests to Joanie that they leave the village and go to stay at Abe’s place in Ireland for a while.

Over on Emmerdale, Ross Barton sparks fresh tensions with Cain Dingle when he refuses to let go of his past relationship with Debbie.

Ross (Michael Parr) faces fresh heartbreak when he spots Cain giving Laurel the keys to Mulberry Cottage - a sign that Debbie won't be returning home anytime soon following her disappearance.

Deciding to take matters into his own hands, Ross sneakily grabs Cain's phone and is delighted when he finally manages to get through to Debbie.

Unfortunately for Ross, his attempts to speak to Debbie are cut short when Cain (Jeff Hordley) catches him in the act and turns violent. Will Ross be warned off by Cain?

Spare a thought for Emmerdale's Kirin Kotecha as he faces the meeting from hell in tonight's episode (January 25).

The young businessman has arranged to meet up with a potential buyer at the factory, but he doesn't exactly make the best impression when his contact catches him sleeping on the job - literally.

An exhausted Kirin (Adam Fielding) is struggling to balance the new responsibility of parenthood with his existing commitments. However, this may cost him a lucrative sale when it turns out that his figures don't add up as he was careless when putting them together.

When the buyer also brings up Kirin's previous drug charge and he struggles to explain himself, is it the final nail in the coffin for this particular deal? And can Kirin really cope with being both a dad and a businessman?


Emmerdale airs tonight (January 25) at 7pm on ITV.
