Hollyoaks Spoilers 18th - 22nd January 2016

Coming up on Hollyoaks, Lockie Campbell manages to escape after weeks locked away in an abandoned shack - but his troubles may not be over.

An initial escape attempt sees the village's charmer free himself and make a run for it through the woods, only to be stopped in his tracks when he cuts himself on some rusty metal.

A furious Cameron (Cameron Moore) soon locks his brother back up again, but he does show some sympathy when he heads to the hospital to get him a tetanus shot.

Back at the shack, Lockie (Nick Rhys) makes better progress with his next escape plan and Cameron is horrified when he returns to find that his sibling is nowhere to be seen.

Tegan later finds Lockie at the hospital and he's quick to tell her everything that Cameron has been up to recently, but the ruthless killer has a cunning plan to destroy his credibility.

At the Lomax house later, Cameron throws a petrol can at Lockie before taking a photo - hoping that he can frame him for trying to set the house on fire.

Cameron warns his brother to leave or he'll go to the police with the photo, but will Lockie agree to go? And what will Leela and Tegan find when they decide to visit the shack for themselves to verify Lockie's story?

Rachel Hardy and Nathan Nightingale will find their relationship coming under more strain next week.

The pair moved to the village for a fresh start last autumn, but have already been faced with a few challenges since they arrived.

Although they managed to move forward from Nathan's indiscretion with Porsche McQueen, Rachel (Jennifer Brooke) will start to have doubts about their future during upcoming episodes.

When Rachel is offered a permanent teaching assistant job at Hollyoaks High, she decides to turn it down so she and Nathan can go travelling. However, she will be left pondering her decision when she realises that Nathan may not want the same thing anymore.​

With an upset Rachel ignoring his calls, Nathan knows that he needs to prove himself to her if he wants to save their relationship.

Nathan later asks Diego to give him Spanish lessons so he can show Rachel that he is committed to travelling around South America with her.

When Diego declines, Myra steps in and offers her services instead, but will it be a success? And will it be enough to ease Rachel's doubts?

Louis fears that Mrs St Claire's anger will force her to do something drastic. Grace tries to prove herself to Esther but can she compete with Trevor? Lindsey resorts to desperate measures to keep Joe close.

As Lindsey's scheme to reel Joe in starts to work, Mercedes becomes suspicious. John Paul's effort to assist Mrs St Claire backfires with violent results. Esther finds a clue that could get Trevor released - but will she and Ben let their personal feelings get in the way of justice?

Ben's misconduct puts his job on the line and the community is in suspense when the case against Trevor takes an unexpected turn. Joe determines to do the right thing by Lindsey - but how will it affect his relationship with Mercedes? Mrs St Claire returns in triumph, while Rachel's impatience with Nathan causes a rift.

Esther and Grace are shocked by the latest development in Trevor's case. When Ben's anger over Trevor leads to violence, Sienna begs him not to let his obsession destroy the family.
