Meanwhile, Hollyoaks welcomes in a new character later this month as mysterious James arrives in the village.

James (Gregory Finnegan) makes a beeline for Cindy Savage when he overhears her discussing the bigamy predicament she has found herself in with her two husbands Mac and Dirk.

After listening in to Cindy's complaints, James cheekily introduces himself as her new lawyer and Fairy Godfather - promising to fix everything for her.

After speaking to James, Cindy (Stephanie Waring) is spurred on to demand half of everything that Mac has. The Nightingales come out fighting in response, threatening to go to the police with Cindy's fake annulment papers if she causes any trouble.

Although Cindy comes up with a cunning way to seize the papers back, she later gets cold feet and tells James that she wants to drop the case against Mac.

Ste Hay and Harry Thompson get confused as they watch the drama unfold, both convinced that James is gay despite his constant attempts to charm Cindy. What is James up to?

It's The Dog's Mr and Mrs Contest and Cameron is feeling the pressure to prove himself, while Pete is hell-bent on keeping Cleo in the palm of his hand. While his relationship with Harry crumbles, Tony points the blame at Ste and their rift grows deeper.
