Over on Coronation Street, Kevin Webster and Anna Windass struggle to keep their relationship under wraps as they officially start dating.
Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) is the first to uncover the pair's secret when he spots them kissing in the back of a taxi as they're on their way into town together.
Following Tim's discovery, he finds himself reeled in to help the new couple, as they ask him to look after Faye while they're busy spending a cosy evening together at the Windass flat.
Proving to be a discreet ally, Tim doesn't tell his wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) that Kevin has moved on with Anna - but it seems that he may have completely underestimated her nosy nature.
Realising that Anna must be entertaining a new boyfriend, Sally innocently suggests to Faye that they should call round to pick up a DVD.

Aidan rows with Johnny in the factory. Johnny points out that he's still got a stake in Underworld and it's business as usual as far as he's concerned. Kate points out to Aidan that Johnny made one mistake which he deeply regrets, but he's always been a brilliant dad. Will Aidan take this on board?
Later, Carla admits to Michelle that she is consumed with guilt and is dreading the wedding. Michelle urges her to talk to Nick. Soon afterwards, Carla bites the bullet and tells Nick she can't marry him.
Meanwhile, Tyrone's car breaks down. Roy comes to the rescue and drives Tyrone, Fiz and Hope to the hospital. While Hope is wheeled away for her operation, Tyrone is consumed with money worries. When Tyrone is then short changed by the hospital vending machine, he loses his temper and becomes abusive towards a passing porter. Fiz is horrified, while Roy is concerned.

Elsewhere, Kevin calls in the café and arranges a date at the Bistro with Anna.
Also, Tracy, Todd and Ken work hard preparing for the grand opening of the flower shop.
Finally, Mary has to do some quick thinking when Asha finds a man's sock on the landing which doesn't belong to Dev, while Nick is pleased with a rave review in the paper about the Bistro and Robert's incredible talent.

A deeply upset Nick wonders if Carla has met someone else, but she assures him that she hasn't. Telling Carla how much he loves her, Nick begs her to give their relationship a chance. Carla finally agrees.
Determined to make things work, Carla flicks through the Bistro diary and picks a date for their wedding in March. Nick is thrilled, while Robert is taken aback. Admitting how much she loves Nick, Carla confides in Michelle that she is determined to marry him and make him happy.

Also, Dev tells Mary that she is welcome to bring her boyfriend back to the house. Clearly embarrassed, Mary assures Dev there will be no more socks on the landing.
Finally, Tracy calls in the Bistro and asks Robert if he'll do the canapés for her grand opening but he gives her short shrift, while Roy is evasive when Cathy tells him that his aunty called to talk to him about his mother.

Pointing out that she has got a terrible cold, Tyrone insists that Fiz stays at home while he visits Hope in hospital. Beth and Kirk call on Fiz, but they're interrupted when Ted the elf barges in demanding payment. Clearly shocked, Fiz promises him that he'll have his money.
When Tyrone returns, Fiz confronts him over Ted's unpaid bill. Under pressure, Tyrone admits they're in debt to the tune of nearly £10,000. Fiz reels. As Tyrone explains to Fiz how he just wanted Hope to have the best Christmas ever, how will she react?
Meanwhile, at her grand opening party, Tracy frets when Robert fails to show, sending Zeedan in his place with the canapés. Wily Amy calls in the Bistro pretending there's a problem with the food, which persuades Robert to attend. With the crowd gathered, Robert arrives and Tracy reveals her new shop sign which leaves Robert stunned!

Elsewhere, when Cathy tells Roy that his aunty called again, Roy refuses to discuss it. Alex arrives and tells Cathy that he has lost his job, so he asks if he can hang out in the café for the day. Anna confides in Cathy about how Roy's relationship with his mother is rather strained.
Also today, Carla asks Kate and Michelle if they'll be her bridesmaids.
Finally, Luke reveals to Andy that Jamie has been released on bail and he is worried that he might come looking for Steph, while Tim tells Kevin that he saw him kissing Anna in the back of a taxi.

Robert tells Tracy that the only business he's interested in is the Bistro and not her flower shop. Pointing out how much extra business he has brought in, Robert tells Nick that he'd like to invest in the Bistro but Nick isn't keen and Robert is annoyed.
When a rival restaurateur calls in and makes it clear that he's there to poach Robert, Nick sends him away with a flea in his ear. Zeedan soon lets slip that to Robert that a competitor called in to offer him a job and Robert is furious to realise that Nick failed to pass on the message. In front of Carla, Robert tears into Nick promising to wipe the smile from his face. As Carla listens, with her heart in her mouth, is Robert about to reveal all?
Meanwhile, having invited Kevin round, Anna asks Tim if he and Sally will have Faye. Suspecting that Anna is spending the evening with her new boyfriend, nosy Sally suggests they call round and pick up a DVD. In the flat, Anna and Kevin kiss passionately. As Tim heads home, he's horrified to see Sally and Faye letting themselves into Anna's flat.
Elsewhere, Andy and Luke pay Jamie a visit at the bar where he works. They reveal to Jamie's boss how he is out on bail for posting revenge porn on the web. She sacks Jamie on the spot. Jamie is furious, while Luke and Andy congratulate themselves on a job well done. Later, Steph is shaken to hear that Jamie is out on bail.
Also, Jason is angry to discover that Kevin has given the arches conversion job to another builder.
Finally, having bitten the bullet and phoned Aunty Jean, Roy tells Cathy that his mother has broken her hip and he needs to go to her aid.

Leanne ushers Nick and Robert into the kitchen, demanding that they sort out their differences. Robert gives Nick an ultimatum - either he lets him buy into the business or he'll leave. Nick announces that he and Robert have struck a deal and Robert will be buying 20% of the business. Tracy is thrilled, while Carla quietly fumes.
Later, Tracy reveals to Robert that the rival restaurateur was actually an old friend and she merely duped Nick into thinking he was about to lose his fabulous chef. Will Robert reward Tracy's scheming with a kiss?

Also, Fiz announces she is returning to work. Tyrone tries to argue, but bitter Fiz points out they need the money. Tyrone is ashamed.
Finally, Cathy and Tyrone see a reluctant Roy off on his journey to Hastings.

Always liked the actress - not sure about
