So it sounds like Chrissie is still interested in Rakesh, but disappointed again about Robron. I do not uhderstand this show they WANT higher ratings and attract a YOUNGER AUDIENCE so why are not they not reuniting Aaron and Robert? The audience wants this the fans want this. And yet they won't do it? Also, I don't care about Chas and her ex husband! Aaron and Adam are around the same age and YET Adam is married living with Victoria acting like a grown man. Yet here is Aaron acting like a baby, and still not living on his own. And where is Finn? This show is way behind Hollyoaks they got several gays over there with different storylines. Finn has just disappeared. Such a waste of young talent.

Pete must've realised that he and Debbie will never get back together, he was just filling time till she finally gave into Ross, but now Ross won't even have her by the look of it, so Pete gets the last laugh, not that I'd actually want to be with someone that had been with my sibling anyway, but he must be pretty desperate for female attention if all he can settle on is the woman who was married to his uncle, screwed his dad and gave him a half brother he didn't need, although Moira's been good to him, it's pretty sickening.

For the past adultery between James & Moira-

as " not bright".I think.the girls were written

I have thought Pete and Moira would happen at some point for a while now, although I love Cain and Moira and hope they don't split up because of this. I have also heard on tumblr by a couple of people that they don't actually sleep together and it is more one-sided from Pete and he kisses her, Moira also apparently tells Cain about it the next day which then means that Cain will most likely punch Pete and everyone will find out. I hope that Cain doesn't leave Moira though as Moira forgave him when HE kissed Chrissie and also he never told her she had to find out for herself, at least she is meant to tell him the next day. Also hoping this doesn't lead to an annual Chain reunion.... great.

KO is 38 I believe, very likely that she has a crush on the actor. Nothing wrong with that, the actor is gorgeous (IMO) but that shouldn't mean the other actors get ignored. But other male characters are getting storylines, for example Adam and Kirin so it's not all bad.

Yep he is Emmerdale have alot of good male actors at the moment and all are getting storylines. I don't get why people claim that Ross is overused when he dissapers to weeks a time. People also say making him Roberts shooter was wrong but who would of people of preferred? Lachlan? who has already had a really dark storyline as has Chrissie. Paddy? As if he would shoot someone. Saint Peter snogging his married auntie, on top of burying Ross in a ditch I think Pete is loosing his tag as the "good brother". The only good thing that could possibly ncome outnof this is if Cain's fued with Pete unites Ross and Pete together as Cain will want revenge on Ross too.

I would imagine it's Pete. I know him and Ross are close but Ross' feeling don't count for much. He's just left to get on with it. When Donna died he was pretty much on his own so. Not sure how much Ross has to go through for his family to take action

It coud be that /or it could be the SWs have a
very low opinion of the intelligence of the average
viewer and how gullible they think we are in what
they can get us to accept- rather than think up

Aaron and Robert are the most important characters on Emmerdale along with Finn. But making Pete into a depressed loser is the wrong way to go. I want Pete to get STRONGER and I want him to get REVENGE on Ross and Debbie they need to pay for what they did to him. Well i disagree with you here. Ross is in my opinion the most complex and interesting character they have at the moment. There's a massive backstory they could fill explaining as to how he turned out the way he has. They've touched a bit on it when Ross kidnapped Pete. They could and should go back to that. Maybe even introduce a few of Ross' old friends who could have took him under their wing? Maybe he has a mentor for an example. That could really cause a rift between Ross/James and said man. Looking at the upcoming spoilers, they're going to show Ross manage looking after Moses. This is a big character development.

Maybe Aaron, Robert and Finn are not the most important characters to you as a fan but that doesn't mean that the show needs them overall to continue. The show has been on air since 1972 with characters coming and going contantly.

Pete had his revenge, by dumping Ross' body in the woods. Then not tell anyone that Ross was "dead". I think murdering someone is a lot worse than having an affair!

I don't see any romantic future for Adam and Vanessa for now, as Adam now seems happily married to Vic. Yes, Adam has bonded with Johnny but I don't see how this can last once reality sets in for Adam in January that he isn't related to Johnny after all, and he may even find Vanessa will become someone he wants to avoid later on? Rakesh seems to be going to have some come-uppance from Adam but we'll have to wait to see how far this goes (Adam does punch Rakesh on 11th Jan but this may be only the start of bigger things?). However, there may a happy ending for this storyline about Johnny perhaps, as I think that either Vic may become pregnant with Adam's own son in a while or Vanessa may become romantically linked to Kirin again (even maybe both of these things happen!)?

The only times I have seen Kate Oates talk about MP is when she is prompted to. It's not her fault and it's certainly not MP's fault what happens there.

I've seen him in Doctors, Casualty and Hollyoaks and he is very good.

There are unfortunately quite a few "Robron" fanatics who guard the ED and Robron hashtag and attack those who say anything bad about them. I've personally seen a regular ED tweeter attacked recently with some pretty misogynistic comments simply because she said she was bored of the Aaron/Robert storyline. More so on Facebook and Twitter though, not messageboards in general.

I do think they are good actors, I just don't think they're never ending screen time is about that.
Not saying people on social media shouldn't like them in the slightest but they can take things too far in efforts to stand up for them, it is sad if it's constant cause it shows they don't have much going for themselves other than to stick up for people they don't even know, and who quite frankly probably couldn't care less and no doubt find it laughable that people do to such extremes

I'm a Robron fan here, and even I admit that some of the fans get way too defensive sometime. There are "fans" who bash every episode that doesn't contain Robron. A lot of Robron fans are nice, but there is the occasional one who believes the show revolves around Robron. It doesn't.

Maybe Robron should have a spin off show since they're so loved. There are many good characters, some overused, some underused. Coming up on Emmerdale, Belle Dingle spots an opportunity to get her parents back on better terms when Lisa suffers a health scare.

The latest drama for the Dingles begins when Lisa heads out for a liquid lunch with the girls following some encouragement from Chas, who wants her to live life to the full following her split from Zak (Steve Halliwell).

Taking Chas's advice on board, Lisa enjoys getting tipsy with the girls in a bar. She later goes a step further by drunkenly dancing with Brian, a co-worker from the factory.

Unfortunately, Lisa's afternoon turns sour when Brian invites her out for dinner, leaving her stressed and bringing on a frightening angina attack.

Although Lisa turns out to be okay, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is quick to share the news with Zak - explaining that Lisa isn't doing well and he's the only person who can make things right.

Zak considers reaching out to Lisa, but he receives some conflicting advice when his new girlfriend Joanie Wright (Denise Black) claims that seeing his estranged wife could actually make her worse.

In the end, Zak agrees that staying away might be the kindest thing to do - but Belle is furious with him for changing his mind and takes her anger out on Joanie by slapping her.

Pete struggles to fight his feelings for Moira as he supports her through her relationship issues with Cain. Coming out fighting for his aunt, Pete tells Cain that he should start acting like a husband. Back home, Cain tells Moira about Pete mouthing off and storms out, prompting Moira to throw a mug at the door.

Later, Moira tells Pete that she's glad she has someone fighting her corner and he's happy when she suggests they should have a beer together. Moira gives Pete a peck on the cheek, but Pete can't resist and kisses her properly on the lips.

Cain is thrown when Moira tells him that Pete made a move on her. She says it was a mistake, but Cain is furious when Moira admits that Pete has been there for her when he hasn't. In the pub, Cain warns Pete to stay away from his wife and Ross guffaws at the idea of his brother making a move on his aunt. Finn despairs to see Pete looking so beaten.

She spots Brian from the factory who offers to buy her a drink. Lisa starts to dance with him, but she becomes stressed when he invites her out to dinner. Belle tells Zak that Lisa had an angina attack and claims that only he can put things right. Zak is torn when Joanie later tells him that seeing Lisa could make her worse and he becomes convinced that staying away might be the kindest thing to do.

Belle is furious that Zak changed his mind, so she slaps Joanie. Zak is worried about Belle's state of mind, but will she use this to her advantage?

Meanwhile, Rhona visits Tess at the school and asks her if she would be a referee for their adoption. Tess feels trapped, but will she agree?

Elsewhere, Nicola admits to Rodney she was devastated about not being able to have more kids and doesn't feel happy about raising Elliot. Blissfully unaware, Jimmy becomes sad that he lost touch with his other son Carl and decides to call Juliette to see how he's doing. Juliette later arrives with Carl, telling Jimmy that she has been struggling since her partner left. Later, Nicola is aghast to see Jimmy has now taken Carl in as well!

Also today, Rakesh is shocked when Rishi tells him that Priya might never come to terms with what he did to Kirin and Vanessa.

Finally, Kerry admits to Joanie how she is lying to Bernice about her eye playing up, while Cain tells Moira that he will put her kiss with Pete behind him.

Aaron gives the social worker a glowing review of Paddy and Rhona. Tess also talks to the social worker, but is unhappy to have been put in this situation. Tess forces a smile as she calls Paddy, Leo and Rhona the perfect family, but it soon becomes unclear what she is going to say about them.

Later, Rhona is confused when she hears a beep coming from Paddy's coat, as his phone is already on the counter. He lies that his second phone belongs to Aaron, who is baffled when Rhona mentions it. Paddy hands it to him with a pleading look on his face and knows he has a lot of explaining to do when Aaron warily accepts the phone. Later, Aaron threatens to tell Rhona that the phone isn't his, unless Paddy tells him the truth.

Aaron is left reeling when Paddy tells him that he's been having an affair with Tess. Aaron is angry that he is betraying his family, so Paddy lies that he doesn't love Tess and the adoption will make his life complete.

As Aaron continues to reel from Paddy's revelations, will he tell Rhona or even worse the social worker?

Meanwhile, Kerry is annoyed that Chrissie is in charge of the salon. When Chrissie proves that Kerry has been exaggerating her illness, Kerry is pushed into pulling her weight with the workload.

Elsewhere, Belle is delighted to see Zak and Lisa together, but they're taken aback when she admits that she hasn't really been hearing voices. She admits that she just wanted them to talk to each other. Lisa asks Zak to stay for a cup of tea and both he and Belle are chuffed that her actions have brought about a family reunion, but is everything as it seems?

Later, a guilty Pearl admits that she told the social worker about Rhona's 'lesbian phase'. But was it this that caused the problem, or is somebody else to blame?

Meanwhile, Chrissie tells Rakesh that he needs a big gesture to show Priya she can trust him. He is left determined to sort things out, but will it work?

Elsewhere, Kirin struggles with Johnny, who won't stop crying. Adam can't stay as he is unable to take seeing them together. Victoria intervenes, knowing Adam needs to spend time with Johnny.

Life for Emmerdale's Jimmy King looks set to be eventful this year after his estranged children arrive in the village.

Upcoming scenes will see Jimmy (Nick Miles) open up to Bob Hope over his desire to reconnect with Elliot - the son he fathered with Kelly Windsor - and is later surprised to get his wish when he sees him turn up unexpectedly.

Jimmy is given a further shock when Bob asks if he can look after Elliot indefinitely. He soon finds himself agreeing, despite reservations from his horrified wife Nicola.

Unaware about the extent of Nicola's unhappiness over the situation, Jimmy becomes inspired to get in touch with his other son Carl too.

Jimmy unwittingly signed over his responsibilities for Carl back in 2014 after a mix-up led to a stranger named Julliette becoming pregnant with his baby.

After deciding to make contact with Julliette, Jimmy gets more than he bargained for when she arrives with Carl, telling Jimmy she's glad he called as she's been struggling since her partner left.

Julliette is hopeful that Jimmy looking after Carl could be the answer to her prayers, but Nicola is aghast over the situation.

Next week's episodes see Moira left stunned as her nephew Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) makes a move on her, which leads to them sharing a shock kiss.

The surprising moment comes as Pete supports Moira through a very difficult time in her marriage to Cain.

With Cain taking his anger out on Moira following Debbie's departure, and also failing to show any support over Adam's DNA discovery, it's Pete who steps up to the mark by comforting his aunt.

Moira gives Pete a friendly peck on the cheek following one particular heart-to-heart, but the troubled farmer can't resist taking things a step further and kisses her on the lips.

Natalie J Robb, who plays Moira, explained: "Pete has always been the closest nephew to her, because part of him reminds her of John. He also runs the farm and they have a nice bond. Moira has been there for him with everything he's gone through, and now he's there for her in return.

"When the kiss happens, Moira is taken by surprise, but she does respond a little bit. Then she stops herself very quickly and blames it on him.

"It's a very quick kiss, but to Pete it means a lot more. I do think if she wasn't with Cain, she might have gone there. And who's to say she won't grow more affection towards him? There's a possibility, because he's still left having feelings for her."

For the time being at least, Moira decides to put her marriage first and tells Cain what happened - unsurprisingly leaving him furious with Pete.

Robb continued: "At first Pete tells Finn that he made a pass at Moira. That's why she tells Cain, because she thinks it'll be far worse if he hears it from somebody else. Cain is not happy about it and he's more curious to know whether Moira enjoyed it or not!

"Cain goes to see Pete and warns him to stay away. Moira has to tell Pete that he can't work at the farm anymore because it's too much of a risk. That might be because she's not too sure of herself."

Asked if Moira and Cain can get through this, Robb replied: "Yeah - Cain's kissed people before! I think it's nice that the marriage works. Even though it does have problems, like real-life marriages do, they don't necessarily split."

Yep he is Emmerdale have alot of good male actors at the moment and all are getting storylines. I don't get why people claim that Ross is overused when he dissapers to weeks a time. People also say making him Roberts shooter was wrong but who would of people of preferred? Lachlan? who has already had a really dark storyline as has Chrissie. Paddy? As if he would shoot someone. And as for the Emma tried to shoot Chas storyline that would of been ridiculous as there were no signs of jealousy from Emma about James leading up to the shooting.

It was wrong and it was a mistake to make Ross the shooter he has no connection to Robert. The writers just decided to throw Michael Parr in because his character is popular. It was bad writing and a huge mistake to make Ross the shooter. It needed to be someone with a motive.

Yes but characters such as Chas & Diane have to be in nearly every scene that is filmed in the pub with them running it which pushes their appearances up

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's Belle Dingle hopes she is making progress after hatching a plan to reunite her warring parents Zak and Lisa.

The couple once had the strongest marriage in the Dales, but viewers saw them hit the rocks at Christmas after Zak (Steve Halliwell) was forced to confess that he'd fallen for their friend Joanie Wright.

Wanting to fix things, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) shamelessly lies that she has started hearing voices in her head again.

Belle confides her 'fears' in Zak, hoping that the worrying news will convince him to return home and make things work with Lisa (Jane Cox) for the sake of the family.

So just who rats on Paddy and Rhona to social services this week by giving the SS a bad reference?

This reference thing is another Emmerdale "Whodunnit", I reckon.

I've had 3 suspects in mind for a few days now for who is seemingly going to scupper Rhona and Paddy's chance of adoption.

1. Pearl. So maybe this really silly bint blags and blabs off about previous and so over Vanessa and Rhona. But is this just a red herring?

2. Tess. Tess seems really fed up right now with her own (boring?) life. Maybe Tess wants "only man for me" Paddy too strongly by now? Maybe Tess doesn't really rate Paddy and Rhona's present relationship and thinks she's in for a chance to home wreck? If so then who wants outsider kids then? Maybe not Tess?

3. Aaron. Now this one's a real black beauty of a very black horse! Aaron is very fed up right now. Gets told by bestie adoptive dad Paddy on Thursday 14th Jan about how Paddy admits that Paddy has been a totally lying scumbag to Rhona and Aaron, etc, and has been found out by at least Aaron for now anyway for cheating on Bossyboots Rhona. (Well, just who wouldn't when given half a chance lately? So Emmerdale right now, haha!)

Rhona finds out on Friday 15th that someone's ratted with a bad reference so her adoption idea really sounds like it's going to end up in the bin.

So what happens next? Has Tess been a really bad and selfish girl for Paddy and his future with Rhona?

Hmmm? I'm not so sure. Would (seems so far, anyway) likeable Tess do something so nasty to stop Rhona and Paddy getting an adopted kid?

So far the only reliable spoiler to answer this question seems to be in today's TV Soap magazine from The Sun.
