Casualty has released an exciting new winter trailer which previews Connie Beauchamp being confronted with her ex Sam Strachan and Noel Garcia's life hanging in the balance.
Former Holby City star Tom Chambers has reprised his role to appear in the sister show as he rushes into the emergency department alongside his daughter Grace, who he fathered with clinical lead Connie.
Sam's return appears to prompt Connie to reconcile her fractured relationship with Grace, having previously handed full-time responsibility of her to Sam, meanwhile a dark new storyline sees receptionist Noel get attacked.
As the team rally around to save Noel, it appears that Big Mac is harbouring a very big secret about his part in Noel's ordeal. The show's producer Erika Hossington confirmed a big story for the character during a chat with Digital Spy last month.
Other stories previewed in the trailer include Cal finding out that his biological mother is a carrier of a degenerative disease, Dixie attempting to rescue Jess from her abusive ex, Holby City's Henerik Hanssen visiting the E.D and Max kissing Zoe.
