When Neighbours comes back in the New Year, will Steph be added to the opening credits?
It`s about time they were updated anyway. What with Naomi gone, Brad/Terese still looking like a loved up couple, Amber and Kyle leaving soon etc.

Neighbours credits in the UK are more up-to-date than the Australian ones for some reason. Naomi's no longer there, and Steph's been added (though she looks a bit odd as if she's been added in later). Brad and Terese are still together and loved up though.
Seriously over this Sonya and her paranoia storyline. She is going to try and push Steph and Belinda back together? Seriously!
If you're that worried, kick her out the house, don't push her back to someone you've seen act absolute nuts!
C'mon Sonya, I like you, don't turn that around now!
Also, even if Steph did have feelings for Toadies, does Sonya not think he'd push her away!? Toadie wouldn't cheat!

Monday, 4th January
A paranoid Sonya bursts into the operating room as surgeons work on Toadie but the distraction causes further complications and as a result, Toadie could experience disastrous side effects.
Trying to locate Paige after their fight, Mark checks out an old haunt of Dimato’s and discovers disturbing evidence indicating that Paige has been abducted.
Paul goes missing but is later found at the men’s shed where Terese convinces him to put his wounded pride to one side and return to Ramsay Street.
Tuesday, 5th January
Terese’s concern that she will be fired as a result of the change in management at Lassiters is misplaced but she is given a clear warning - stay away from Paul.
Sonya endures the agony of waiting to see if her actions have compromised the success of Toadie’s surgery.
Paige realises that she is the victim of mistaken identity when her captor calls her Michelle and exploits an opportunity to escape but her fortune is short-lived when she runs straight out into path of an oncoming car.
Wednesday, 6th January
Mark is shaken by Paige’s close call and vows to stop at nothing to finally catch Dimato.
When Paige convinces Michelle to tell Mark what happened, she will only do so off the record and once again Dimato escapes punishment.
Meanwhile, Paige’s accident brings Lauren and Brad closer together.
Paul busies himself with a business plan for a new venture with Amy but when he pitches it to the residents of Erinsborough he discovers that they are reluctant to trust him with their money.
Thursday, 7th January
An upset Belinda takes her anger out on Sonya and drops a bombshell that could tear the Rebecchis apart.
Paul works hard to keep his new investor’s identity a secret but is shocked when Daniel reveals he saw him talking to none other than Dimato.
Josh tells Amber that he wants to move with her to Brisbane.
When Lou’s holiday fling turns up in Erinsborough with suitcases in tow, he makes Sheila an indecent proposal to help him get rid of her.
Friday, 8th January
Josh frantically tries to explain that kissing Amber meant nothing but she refuses to believe it and worried about his confused feelings, she tells him that it will be better if he does not accompany her to Queensland.
Sonya wrestles with her doubts about Steph’s feelings for Toadie and hatches a plan to her her and Belinda back together.
A fun day working together turns sour when Piper overhears Tyler telling Aaron that he thinks of her as a child and she plots a humiliating revenge.

Sonya waits anxiously for Toadie while he is in the operating theatre.
While walking around the hospital, Sonya learns that Belinda is the nurse assisting on her husband’s operation. Fearing that Belinda’s grudge against Toadie may result in a botched surgery, Sonya bursts into the theatre room in a bid to save him.
Mark and Lauren realise that Paige has gone missing when she fails to show up for her work shift. Checking out an old haunt of Dimato’s, the duo discover disturbing evidence indicating that Paige could be in grave danger.
Following his financial downfall, Paul hides out from the community in the Men’s Shed. When Terese learns of his whereabouts she offers her support. Amy, Daniel and Imogen are horrified when she returns home with a new lodger. Paul Robinson has returned to live on Ramsay Street.

While Sonya anxiously waits for news on Toadie, she discovers a notice at the nurses' station welcoming a new recruit - Belinda Bell. Upon learning that Belinda is in theatre assisting with the surgery on Toadie, Sonya tells one of the nurses that Belinda has a grudge against her husband and could be sabotaging the operation. Her wild claims sound bizarre and the nurse urges her to calm down. Still fearing for Toadie's safety, Sonya runs off and bursts into the operating theatre.
Belinda is removed from the case, but Karl later tells Sonya that her interruption was a distraction and subsequently caused a delay in the procedure. As a result, it's possible Toadie could experience side effects in the future.
Meanwhile, Mark can't find Paige and realises that she has gone to meet Michelle. Mark and Lauren check out an old haunt of Dimato's, where they discover disturbing evidence indicating that Paige has been abducted.
Elsewhere, Paul has set himself up in the Men's Shed following his downfall and is too proud to accept help from anyone. After a candid chat, Terese convinces him to forget about his stupid pride and agree to her solution. Amy, Daniel and Imogen watch with a mixture of relief, guilt and horror as Terese arrives home with her new lodger - Paul Robinson has returned to Ramsay Street.

Paige realises she is the apparent victim of mistaken identity when her captor calls her 'Michelle', but he refuses to listen to her claims that he has made a mistake.
Later, Paige manages to escape. While out on the road she sees Mark, who is driving towards an address after being tipped off on her whereabouts. Elated at being free, Paige runs across the road to be with Mark, failing to see another car coming the other way - driven at speed by the captor she knocked out cold earlier.
Meanwhile, Sonya endures the agony of waiting to see if her actions to remove Belinda from the operating theatre have compromised the success of Toadie's surgery. When Toadie lets out a gasp after finally coming round, she fears the worst.
Elsewhere, Shay finally gets her promised revenge on Kyle, refusing to pay him and Amy for maintenance work on the Lassiters garden beds. She has also managed to cancel a recent order for a gazebo - a potential blow to that side of the business. However, Jimmy soon suggests that Paul can sell gazebos for his mum now he's out of work. Paul warms to the idea and despite her nagging doubts, Amy considers going into business with her dad.
Also today, Terese worries about her future at Lassiters, convinced that she will be sacked following the recent changeover at the top. Terese is later surprised to learn this will not be the case and that it's business as usual, with even the Lassiters name staying. However, Shay does having a parting warning for her - she should stay away from Paul.

Mark is distraught after witnessing Paige being hit by a car. As Mark cradles an injured Paige in his arms, she tells him that her kidnapper thought she was Michelle. Paige is rushed to hospital, but Mark is unable to deal with the eerie similarities to what happened to Kate. As a result, Mark leaves Paige's side to focus on the investigation.
Later, Michelle visits Paige at the hospital and her story confirms that Dimato must have been involved in the kidnapping. Paige urges Michelle to tell Mark what happened, but Michelle will only speak off the record as she's terrified of retribution.
Meanwhile, watching over Paige at the hospital brings Brad and Lauren closer together. Lauren's quiet support reminds Brad of everything he misses about her, but they both realise this isn't their time.
Elsewhere, Paul is a man on a mission as he busies himself organising the new gazebo business venture. Paul quickly comes up with a business plan and a start-up budget of $15,000, but he isn't sure where to get the money. Knowing he will not receive a warm welcome from the bank, he decides to raise the money a little closer to home. However, despite a well-crafted pitch, Paul soon discovers that the residents of Erinsborough are reluctant to trust him with their money. Paul is about to give up when he gets an offer from an unexpected source.

Sonya can't help but notice how close Toadie and Steph are lately. Seeing Belinda later on, Sonya apologises for causing a scene and potentially costing Belinda her job. Belinda admits that if she loses her job, she has nobody to blame but herself. She reveals also that she is planning to confess to her illicit relationship with Steph.
Steph is horrified when she finds this out, knowing this information could ruin Belinda's career. She confronts Belinda, who asks for a fresh start, but Steph remains adamant that she still can't be with her. Upset, Belinda takes her anger out on a sympathetic Sonya. She tells Sonya that the reason Steph doesn't want to get back together is that she's in love with Toadie.
Meanwhile, Paul has secretly done a deal with Dimato regarding the gazebo business. He thinks his dodgy move has gone undetected, but is shocked when Daniel reveals that he saw him with Dimato. Wracked with guilt, and still angry at Daniel for his betrayal, Paul shuts him out of his life for good.
Elsewhere, Josh tells Lauren that he wants to move to Brisbane with her, because he's afraid he'll never connect with his daughter if he doesn't. Amber is touched by his vulnerability and tells him she's happy to have him come along. Josh is thrilled, but soon gets caught in the moment and kisses Amber.

Also today, Lou is horrified when his holiday fling Rochelle turns up in Erinsborough with suitcases in tow, so he enlists Sheila's help to get rid of her. Fun and shenanigans ensue as Lou and Sheila try to trick Rochelle into thinking they're having an affair.

Later, Amber farewells her loved ones at a small gathering. Josh arrives just in time to see the woman he loves, and their child, drive out of his life forever. Brad later reaches out to Josh, urging him to reconsider. When Brad continues to offer advice, Josh's frustration explodes and it's clear he's not coping.
Meanwhile, Sonya confides in Susan following Belinda's warning about Steph and Toadie. Later, Sonya learns that Toadie wants to get out of hospital as quickly as possible, something which he can only do if he has a rehab plan in place. Sonya comes up with the idea of hiring Belinda to visit the house and help him, explaining that she feels bad for her part in derailing Belinda's career and this could be a way to make amends. Toadie agrees, but Susan is wary when she hears of the arrangement. Is Sonya really just doing a good deed, or does she have another agenda?
Elsewhere, Piper continues helping Tyler at the garage. Aaron decides to pitch in for the day too, but when business proves slow, he comes up with the idea of making an online ad to boost profits. As they work together, Aaron clocks the rapport between Piper and Tyler. He later asks Tyler about it and Tyler firmly shuts the idea down, dismissing Piper as a child. However, he's unaware that he is still wearing a microphone from the ad shoot and Piper can hear every word. Furious, she gets her revenge by uploading a version of the ad that makes Tyler look like an idiot and damages the garage's reputation.
