Wednesday 23rd 7-30pm
After Marion has her purse stolen, David bumps into her, so he offers to bring Max round to lift her spirits. Meanwhile Tyrone wants the Lapland project to be better than ever.

Chrsitmas Eve 8-00pm
Fiz tells Tyrone that Hope may not be allowed home for Christmas and Lapland may have to wait. MeanwhileTracy confides in Todd that she thinks Robert is planning to propose


Christmas DAy 7-45pm
Robert gives Tracy a Christmas Day to remember with his proposal but has atricky question which leaves her reeling. Meanwhile Sinead is thrilled when she gets an engagement ring of her own.

Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs will propose to his partner Fiz Stape on Christmas Day.

The romantic gesture will come after the couple are thrown into more turmoil, when Fiz's unwell daughter Hope develops an infection and gets rushed into hospital.

As Tyrone works on the finishing touches for his Lapland project, Fiz is forced to break the news that Hope may not be allowed home for Christmas.

A devastated Tyrone is then left to believe that his Lapland efforts have all been in vain, but he will be delighted when Fiz later turns up in a taxi with Hope.

Thrilled that his family are all together at Christmas, Tyrone goes ahead with his plan to propose to Fiz, but an awkward mix-up with crackers leaves his plans in jeopardy.

However, as they lead the girls out onto the street to reveal Lapland, Tyrone gets down on one knee in the snow and proposes to Fiz.

Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz, explained: "Fiz wasn't expecting it at all and the way it happens is brilliant. There will be a lot of men out there who will wish they had thought of doing it that way!

"Fiz has told Tyrone not to get her a present. She is a bit sad when he appears to take her literally, but she has no idea what he has planned. It is a lovely thing for Tyrone to do and they aren't planning to have the actual wedding any time soon, as money is still tight, and of course Fiz doesn't know how tight."

Despite the touching Christmas Day scenes, McAlpine isn't confident there will be a happy future for the pair.

She said: "For now things are looking a lot brighter. Hope is responding well to treatment and she is engaged to Tyrone. But this is soap and problems are just around the corner!

"I would love to see Fiz get married to Tyrone, but she is sure to find out about the money soon, so a happy ending is not on the cards for the time being.

"She will be devastated, it is the betrayal really. She already knew about him not cancelling Lapland and having to shell out for that. To discover he has carried on spending and on things they could have done without will be a real blow to her and will make her question their relationship."

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on ITV.

Coronation Street Christmas 2015 – Robert to propose to Tracy!
Tracy Barlow thinks she’s got the pick of two men when Rob Donovan and Robert Preston both make their feelings for her clear this Christmas. But when it comes to Corrie killer Rob, Tracy may soon find out that there are more to his recent antics than she thinks.
It all starts when Rob sends Tracy a visitingorder and once inside the prison he tells her there’s a strong chance he might be released and he hopes they can start again.
As Rob puts pressure on Tracy, telling her he needs to know that she still loves him, she suddenly remembers Amy’s got her violin concert and flees from the visiting room.
Tracy lets herself into No.1 to find Amy deeply upset and Ken explains how she lost her nerve and refused to play without Tracy there.
When Robert demands to know where she’s been, Tracy feeds him a pack of lies and Robert’s instantly suspicious.
Tracy secretly phones Rob and assures him she still loves him and will be waiting for him when he gets out.
Rob’s pleased his plan is coming together and then phones Robert, telling him he’s sending him a visiting order as he’s got some information about Tracy.
Later in the shop Todd answers Tracy’s mobile for her and is taken aback to discover the caller is Rob Donovan.
Swearing Todd to secrecy, Tracy confides in him that Rob might be released on a technicality and she still has feelings for him.
Meanwhile Robert confides in Leanne that he’s received a prison visiting order from Tracy’s ex, Rob who wants to impart some news about Tracy.
Despite Leanne warning him he might be best to leave well alone, Robert makes out he’s going Christmas shopping but heads to the prison instead.
As Tracy tidies the house, she’s thrilled to discover an engagement ring in Robert’s jacket pocket and soon confides in Todd Grimshaw that she thinks Robert’s planning to propose and she’s not sure what to do.
Meanwhile Robert visits Rob in prison. Rob takes pleasure in telling him about Tracy’s recent visits. Refusing to let Rob get to him, Robert retorts that he intends to propose to Tracy on Christmas Day and leaves.
Back on the cobbles, when Tracy overhears Amy telling Robert that he can be her number two Dad, Tracy realises that Robert is the one for her.
In the Rovers, Tracy thinks Robert is about to propose when he pulls out the engagement ring from his pocket but before Tracy can take it, he demands to know why she’s told Rob she wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Can Tracy talk Robert round and get him to place the ring on her finger?

It was made out to be the first visit she had made - certainly in a long while. She has not visited him since being back with Robert. I would also have though it unlikely she had written to him and if she had, I couldn't see her mentioning Robert.

If Tracy had written to him, I can well imagine her rubbing it in that she has a new man now but Rob sure seems to be well up to speed with happenings on Coronation Street ... I hope there will be an explanation how he gained all this info during one of the visits

Meanwhile, Coronation Street have released new pictures that show the Weatherfield residents being treated to a very special Christmas surprise.


Everyone will gather around as Santa and his sleigh arrive on the snow-filled cobbles, much to the delight of the children.


The exciting arrival is a result of Tyrone Dobbs's ongoing hard work to ensure that an unwell Hope Stape has a magical day.


Tyrone will pull out all the stops to turn the Street into Lapland and will later surprise his partner Fiz by popping the question.


Fiz is currently unaware of just how much Tyrone has risked in order to put the project together, but will the family have the happy Christmas that he has worked so hard for?
