EastEnders welcomes Libby Fox back to Walford next month as she pays another visit to her mum Denise.

Libby (Belinda Owusu) arrives back unexpectedly on the day of Vincent Hubbard's birthday party, but her reasons for returning won't go down too well with Denise.

In the build-up to Libby's visit, Denise (Diane Parish) falls out badly with her sister Kim, unable to accept Kim's decision to sell her share of the house.

It should be a welcome relief from all the tension when Libby turns up for Vincent's party, but Denise becomes infuriated when she realises that Patrick Trueman asked Libby to come and play peacemaker between her and Kim (Tameka Empson).

Kathy heads home after the Christmas lights switch-on and is shocked when Bobby tells her that Jane is hurt. When Jane regains consciousness, she covers for Bobby by telling Kathy that she tripped down the stairs. Despite being in pain, Jane puts on a brave face and heads to The Vic.

Later, Ben arrives at the pub and tells Sharon that he thinks Phil has bought more alcohol. Sharon tells Ben that she knows what she's doing, but this sparks tensions with Kathy. Kathy is touched when Jane supports her and they go off to The Albert for a drink together.

Sharon returns home and Phil assures her that he didn't buy more booze. When Kathy arrives back at the Beales', she receives another shock when Bobby confesses to her that he pushed Jane down the stairs.

Meanwhile, a shocked Kim demands to know why Vincent has drugs. Vincent starts to spin a story, but Kim is sceptical and forces him to come clean with the truth. Vincent's story still doesn't ring true for Kim, but when Claudette arrives and panics that Kim knows what's going on, it confirms that Vincent isn't lying.

Still unsure over what to do about the drugs, Kim quickly leaves and turns to Denise for help. However, just as she is about to open up, Claudette convinces Kim to keep quiet. Despite this, Kim still warns Vincent that he needs to end this sooner rather than later.

Elsewhere, Dot opposes Elaine's ideas for the community Christmas show. She asks Ian to hold a vote on whether the residents would prefer Elaine's glitzy idea or Dot's nativity play. Dot's idea wins, leaving Elaine once again planning Mick and Linda's wedding.

It's the day of Lucy's birthday and Kathy warns Bobby that she has to tell Ian the truth about him pushing Jane down the stairs. When Kathy and Ian help Martin on the stall, Ian opens up about his love for Bobby, which prompts Kathy to realise that it may be best to keep quiet.

Back home, Kathy tells Jane that she knows what happened, but Jane storms out when Kathy suggests that Bobby may need help. However, when Bobby's bad behaviour continues, Jane starts to have doubts and privately confides in Kathy about her fears.

Meanwhile, Vincent tells Ronnie that the day has arrived for him to take Phil down and enlists her help with setting him up. Ronnie successfully follows Vincent's instructions at The Albert, but she also warns him that Phil is dangerous. Later, Kim tells Denise and Patrick that someone has put an offer on her share of the house.

Elsewhere, Mick pleads with Dot to let Elaine help out with the auditions for the nativity play and she reluctantly agrees. However, Elaine quickly causes ructions by telling Billy that Janet is too old to be in the play. With Dot disagreeing, Mick is left to make the final decision.

Kathy is shocked by Jane's confession. When Jane opens up further, she wonders whether she really made the right decision by covering for Bobby. When Jane lets slip that Ben was in prison before he killed Heather, Kathy also has her doubts.

Both women agree to stand by each other to help Bobby and tell him that his behaviour isn't acceptable. Will Bobby listen?

Meanwhile, a torn Ronnie continues to follow Vincent's instructions and finds a way to get close to Phil by telling Ben that she'll help deal with him. Vincent also heads to The Albert and slips something into Phil's coat pocket. When Ronnie returns, she tells a smug Vincent that she's done what he wanted. Ronnie is left stunned when Vincent calls the police to say that Phil is at The Albert and is carrying a gun. Is this the end of Phil?

Elsewhere, Janet is offered the role of the Angel Gabriel, but Billy panics that the role might be too big for her until Elaine convinces him otherwise.

Also today, Denise and Kim clash over Kim's decision to sell her share of the house.

It's Vincent's birthday and Kim gives him a rather odd present. During Vincent's birthday party, he receives a call from his police contact Pike.

Later, after a successful party, Kim finds an unopened present and is horrified by the contents.

Meanwhile, Denise is surprised when Libby arrives, but she gets frustrated when she realises that Patrick asked Libby to come and talk to her about Kim. At the café, the pair have a heart-to-heart. After some encouragement, Denise agrees to go the party and make amends with Kim.

Elsewhere, Kathy confronts Phil about the way he has brought Ben up, but gets more than she bargained for when Ben and Abi hear her talking about his sexuality. Kathy shares her fears with Jane and wonders if she has lost Ben for good, but Jane agrees to stand by Kathy and help her.
