A 34 year old who has a page dedicated to a couple that's not even real, who argues with people online, makes rumours up for her own satisfaction.. The depressing part has nothing to do with her age though! It's her name.

Yeah, I worked out her age a while back. Her obsession with Mark/Kate and just Neighbours in general is certainly strange. What's so depressing about her name though?

Lol, maybe Kate wrote a will that said if Mark ever gets married kill him and his gf by poisoning there cake. Okay maybe not this is neighbours.

She was banned for rudeness and flouting forum rules and immediately joined under another username (after which she was banned a second time).

I'm quite a bit older than Gilly and am a Neighbours fan. I think maxxy meant that it's depressing that a 34 year old is so rude and obsessive about it.

Oh I didn't mean it like that haha. Neighbours is for any age group. I just meant it's a bit weird of Gilly to dedicate her life to an on-screen couple that doesn't exist anymore, and depressing that she has nothing better to do. Sorry for the misunderstanding! :thumbsup:
Can we all refrain from the Gilly bashing... She was here and is no longer so lets draw a line under this. This thread also gives a bad impression of the boards that we are a clique and bitch as soon as someone is banned. This leaves a bad impression on newcomers.

I agree, even though I'm guilty as charged. She's angered a lot of people and it can be hard to let go.
Perhaps it'd be better to close the thread since it's specifically about Gilly.
