Ailsa died of a heart attack in 2000 and was cremated ... she did come back to Alf as a vision a couple of years later but I can´t see that happening again after all this time. :nono:

The "source" is essentially this scan from this weeks TV Week, where she says she would consider returning, but would only want to do it for 2 weeks, but then goes on to say it's virtually impossible because her character is dead.

In two years, H&A have their 30th Anniversary. I hope they won`t rip off a plot from their 30th Anniversary where Madge Bishop came back for a few scenes with Harold.
If 'Ailsa' did come back briefly, it could be as a different character, and Alf is convinced that it`s Ailsa and stalks her. It is the only way to make it believable. Judy Nunn has already stated it wouldn`t be a permanent role if she was ever coaxed back.

Most family members don´t visit or attend funerals/weddings etc once the character has left. Would have been nice if he was to rejoin :)
