Spoilers and photos for Monday 9th November show Aaron is in court to plead "Not guilty" to the charge of attempted murder of Robert during September 2015. Bail was refused, however.

But somehow Aaron gets out of jail after this because he gets to have a drink in the Woolpack by Monday 16th November.

It remains to be seen if the court has allowed bail after appeal or whether new evidence has come to light which mean that charges against Aaron have been dropped regarding Robert's shooting.

Spoilers for 16th November also say that Robert is told by Aaron that Aaron hates him, so maybe any Robron is not going to happen for a while.

Soap spoilers: Emmerdale affair

Coming up on Emmerdale, Paddy Kirk gives into temptation again as his marriage to Rhona Goskirk runs into further difficulty.

Paddy (Dominic Brunt) panics when Rhona starts to get increasingly broody again, especially with her best friend Vanessa Woodfield now starting to bond with baby Johnny.

Although Paddy is quick to point out that another pregnancy might not be a good idea, Rhona comes up with a suggestion he wasn't expecting when she points out that they could adopt.

With Paddy still unsure of how they'd cope, Rhona is left disappointed and confides in Vanessa about how hesitant he's being.

Paddy also seeks some support of his own when he speaks to Tess (Nicola Stephenson) about his concerns regarding the idea of adoption. It's not long before Tess leans in for a kiss, but how far will things go between the love cheats this time?

Jai is determined to get Nikhil out of his life

Megan thinks Nikhil is going to blow her secret, so she plans to leave the village as soon as she can. At the same time, Jai seethes when Nikhil questions him about what happened with Charity, knowing Megan has blabbed. Jai is shocked when Tanya tells him that Nikhil might now stay on in the village, so he deliberately spikes her drinks as he puts a new plan in motion.

Jai takes a drunken Tanya to the B&B, where she falls on the bed sparked out. Jai takes her phone and sends a text to Nikhil, pretending to be from her. It's clear that Jai is playing dirty to get Nikhil out of his life.

Meanwhile, Rhona becomes even more broody when Vanessa shows her baby photos. Paddy points out that another pregnancy might not be a good idea, but he is taken aback when Rhona suggests they adopt.

Elsewhere, Lawrence is dismayed as Nicola continues to reside at Home Farm, despite Bernice's reassurance that Nicola and Jimmy always get back together. Despite Jimmy's grovelling, Nicola sends him away once more.

Also today, Robert is gutted when Aaron tells him that he hates him and nothing will ever change that.

Finally, Laurel tells Sandy that she needs to move on with her life just like Marlon has.

Tanya is confused and hungover when she awakes to find herself with Jai. She is traumatised to believe that she has cheated on Nikhil. Jai uses this to blackmail her, telling her that he'll show Nikhil the photos of last night unless she convinces Nikhil to leave the country.

Jai's plan works, as Tanya and Nikhil are soon saying their goodbyes. However, before they can go, Nikhil tells Tanya that he has some life-changing news he needs to give to Jai. Will Megan's secret finally come out? And will Nikhil find out about his brother's dirty tricks?

Meanwhile, Rhona confides in Vanessa about her adoption plans and Paddy's reticence. Paddy later confides his concerns about adoption to Tess, but she moves in for a kiss. How far will things go this time?

Elsewhere, Laurel explains to Nicola that she can't live with Marlon any longer. However, she can't afford to rent anywhere else, so Nicola suggests that she should move in with Jimmy to keep an eye on him. Jimmy and Laurel are both unsure about these new living arrangements.

Also today, Megan says her goodbyes to Sam, who is gutted that she's leaving. Will her plans be put on hold?

Finally, Kerry and Amelia become partners in 'unhealthy' crime when they both fall off their health wagon, Chas plays down her anxiety to Aaron, while Ashley writes a discreet note to talk to Laurel.

Paddy feels guilty but relieved when Rhona tells him that Tess will no longer be Leo's teaching assistant.

Paddy goes to see Tess, who explains that she can't teach Leo while having a fling with his stepfather at the same time. Both are unaware that Rhona is within earshot, but has she heard? And will the guilt force Paddy into a decision?

Meanwhile, Dan is proud to reveal the tandem bike he has bought for himself and Kerry to exercise together on, but a healthy lifestyle is the last thing on Amelia and Kerry's minds as they tuck into a packet of sweets. Can Kerry keep her eating habits a secret much longer, or is Dan about to find out?

Elsewhere, Harriet is unsettled to see that Ashley's attention is on Laurel rather than her during the meeting to discuss the village hall. Edna tells Ashley to bank the takings from the village hall, but he gets distracted and puts the money in a drawer.

Also today, Rishi's heart sinks when he sees Jai taking coke again. Jai blames it on Nikhil's interference. Later, David asks Nikhil to move in with him after hearing about Jai's blackmailing scam.

Bob uncovers the problems with Ashley's memory

Ashley loses his lifeline when he mislays his notebook and can't remember what he did with the village hall money. Fingers soon point at Bob, who is shocked when he realises that even Brenda doesn't seem to be on his side over it.

Bob later finds Ashley's notebook and sees all of his notes and instructions. Bob confronts Ashley over the book, prompting him to make a shocking confession.

Meanwhile, Kerry is still fuming that Dan has called her obese. When Bernice suggests they do some exercise, Kerry wants to use the tandem bike. En route, they begin to argue until Kerry panics. She announces that she can't see as they go careering into the side of the church.

Elsewhere, Rhona is pleased that Paddy seems keener on the adoption plan. However, Aaron picks up on his lack of enthusiasm.

Also, Rishi urges Nikhil to give Jai a job in the factory. Nikhil agrees, but how will Jai react when he is given a job on the packing line?

Bob is stunned by Ashley's confession, but is determined to be there for his friend - especially when he learns that Ashley has a hospital appointment for his official test results. Bob accompanies Ashley into the consultant's room, where he is given his diagnosis. Ashley is told that he has Early Onset Vascular Dementia. Ashley is distraught, knowing how bleak his future is now set to be. Bob urges Ashley to tell Harriet his secret.

Later, as Ashley prepares himself, Harriet unwittingly makes a comment that stops him in his tracks. It's all too much for him and Ashley privately breaks down in despair as his world starts to implode.

Meanwhile, Bernice and Kerry have smashed the tandem into the church. Bernice is worried about her wrist, but there is true fear from Kerry. Bernice and James are shocked to realise that Kerry is being serious, as she thinks she has gone blind. Kerry fears she has a brain tumour but on getting to the hospital, the doctor has other news. Kerry is told that she has Diabetic Retinopathy and the blindness is down to her poor diet and lifestyle. She's shocked to learn that she needs an operation, so will this be her wake-up call?

Elsewhere, convinced he is doing it for selfless reasons, Paddy asks Tess to move back into Leo's class. He tells her they need to delete each other's phone numbers, but can he bring himself to do it?

Also, Zak and Joannie work together to manipulate Cain into caring for Kyle.

Finally, Lawrence can see that his lack of physical intimacy with Bernice is still an issue.

Harriet is shocked by Ashley's decision

Ashley has an opportunity to tell Harriet the truth, but he bottles it. Instead he suggests that they should split up, leaving Harriet hurt and confused.

Ashley realises how much he needs Harriet, but he tells Bob that he needs to make sense of what he wants first - much to Bob's despair. Can Bob be persuaded to keep Ashley's secret much longer?

Meanwhile, Belle accompanies Zak and Joanie to a Northern Soul night. The evening is fun and Belle meets a boy called Matt. All is going well until Joanie jokingly poses as Zak's wife. Suddenly Zak's attitude changes and Joanie is shocked by his decision.

Elsewhere, Cain agrees to look after Kyle for the day. He makes an effort to get to know his son and surprises himself when he actually enjoys it.

Also today, Bernice offers to get a pre-nup to prove that she's not after Lawrence for his money. Lawrence assures her they are forever, but Bernice looks concerned.

Finally, Dan worries that he's not cut out to be a paramedic, Kerry admits she's worried about her operation, while James gets a lead on Emma's possible whereabouts.

I know I am in the minority but Rhona is such a cow! The lady is such a busy body and a real snob she just seems too uptight for Paddy he seems like a free spirit. And Rhona acts like Paddy mother not his wife she is always lecturing him and bossing him around. I wish Rhona had been killed off this summer. I was stunned to find out the very handsome Jeff Hordley is married to this lady lol! Perhaps because Jeff Hordley is a lead this is the reason the show keeps Rhona on? Rhona is certainly expendable she isn't as important to the show as other female characters like Chas, Debbie, or Moira.

My only question is, how much of this sentence did Rhona hear (I'm guessing at least "fling with his Dad")?

Paddy and Tess must be serious. Either "Love is blind", as the saying goes, or Paddy needs to return his new glasses to Specsavers if he's going to hide this affair from Rhona better than this.

Emmerdale's Bob Hope is forced to angrily defend himself tonight (November 19) after he's wrongly accused of stealing.

Bob (Tony Audenshaw) finds himself in the firing line when word spreads that the money raised for the new village hall has mysteriously gone missing.

In reality, Ashley Thomas (John Middleton) has forgotten what he's done with the cash as he continues to struggle with his memory, but he finds himself unable to be honest with those around him.

When Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) gets on the case, he's quick to accuse Bob of taking the money for himself given his recent history. Bob is furious to be under suspicion, but his attempts to clear his name soon lead to him uncovering Ashley's tragic secret...
