View Full Version : Shock funeral in Erinsborough ?
This was posted by a member on another forum site.
My friend did the neighbours tour the other day and they were filming for a funeral. An ex cast member told them they can't reveal storylines but producer Jason Herbison is really upping the ante with a death that will shock everyone and send shockwaves through the street. Take from that what you will.
Could it be for Amber´s baby?

I hope not Lou. I'd rather they kept the door open for him to pop in every so often.
I personally would be happy with it being Brad. :D To be honest I'd also have no problem with it being Paige. Or Josh.
Just hope it's no-one I really like!

Amber apparently loses the baby not long after giving birth prematurely after the fire.
Kyle leaves in April. He will be around after the season finale cliffhanger.
Bit of inside info that the funeral could be Lou. Tom Oliver may have decided to leave permanently.

No. it isn't Brad or Paige. Olympia Valance is contracted till March 2017 and Kip Gamblin has no plans to leaves.
Look like the death could be Lou and Tom Oliver has decided to leave permanently.

It will be Lou or Lauren or Amber. When Lou left earlier in the year it was stated he would be returning to filming later this year for a significant storyline. It's October, so it's later in the year and a funeral was being filmed. We know Amber is leaving, so unless there's proof that Lou has decided to leave for good, I'm going to say Amber dies.

The funeral happens during season finale week in December. The death is a male. I emailed Tom Oliver's management company and asked if Tom had left permanently. It is verly likely that Tom has left permanently and the funeral will be Lou and this is the significant storyline that Lou comes back for. Tom Oliver will be 80 in 2 years. It's no surprise he wants to retire permanently. He has been semi-retired for the last few years.
Amber is having a girl. It looks like the baby will die a few days after she give birth prematurely.
Amber leaves in a taxi in December.

With no Lou, Lauren gone, Matt dead and Bailey elsewhere, there really isn't anything to keep Lauren around is there... fingers crossed

Someone suggested in another thread that Paige, Brad, and Lauren should leave - and I'd be more than happy for this to happen.
Although it would be so sad if Amber's baby dies (and possibly Lou too?). Shame they can't just have him happily living in Queensland (that's where he is I think?) instead of kiilling him off. Oh well.
If the funeral's for a male does it have to be Lou? Could it be Josh? Or Brad?

If it was Brad - Terese would have the last laugh (no pun intended) no one would be the winner as far a couples go .... then Lauren and Paige would truly get what they deserve ... a load more misery for plotting to ruin someone else family for their own ends ....

It's a male character who dies.
Amber leaves in a taxi in December. That is her exit storyline. amber doesn't die.

Harold should definitely return if it is Lou.
I forgot about Doug. That might make sense actually because as you said he is already ill. I like Doug so hope it isn't him (although I guess I don't want it to be Lou either).

I've just read in the Sunday Star that Lou's return is indeed connected to drug dealers (in Cambodia)!
Not sure how accurate the Star is but that's what it says... I'd be happy if this is true as I didn't want him to return to die.

To have a fake funeral on top of what the Turner/Willis families have been through the last few weeks seems like emotional overload a step too far ....

Not sure how accurate the Star is but that's what it says... I'd be happy if this is true as I didn't want him to return to die.
If the upcoming funeral is not what it seems, then maybe it is Lou's and Lou's death is faked, if some drug dealer are after him
Will get season cliffhanger spoilers this week, when December issue of Soap World is out. Will post spoilers when I get them.

Gilly, I really appreciate the spoilers and the updates that you put on your Facebook pages. However, can you please stop posting your opinion as fact? It only confuses things when you then post spoilers that contradict what you have said before, e.g. Ben not starting the fire, Cambodian drug dealers. Thank you please 😀

Confirmed in Soap World that Lou does indeed fake his death to get away from the drug lord.
