Thanks for the spoilers Perdita. Much appreciated, as always.

I wonder if this timetable will be the same in all States for this week? The AFL Brownlow Medal awards are on the Monday night on the main Channel 7 in Melbourne. Therefore no H&A that night, but I think they are having 3 episodes on the Thursday night (where it has TBA) to make up for it. I am not sure if this will be the same for Adelaide & Perth?? In Sydney, & I imagine Brisbane as well, all the AFL including the Brownlow Medal are on digital channel 7Mate . There wont be any real interest in the Brownlow in these cities, where even the NRL (Rugby League) Dally M Awards aren't on the main channel anymore. Therefore I wonder if Syd & Bris will have the normal schedule ie 1 episode on Mon-Wed & then a double on Thurs?

So, everyone seems to be going about there usual business, which I gather means that no-one knows Denny is dead & they just believe she has gone overseas (it would be rather grotesque if Evie & Oscar where showing more concern for their love lives so soon after Denny being murdered, if they knew what had happened). Are we going to see a farewell/bon voyage scene? Zac said to Denny last week that they should catch up before she goes. Will he & also her half sister & brother get to say goodbye? Or will she just basically "disappear" & people just think she has gone o/s, or possibly to see her Mother before she goes?

So Denny's death is finally confirmed. :(

It does sound like Oscar and Evie are unaware of Denny's death at this point. Even they can't be so self-absorbed that they're worrying about their love lives when they've just heard their sister's dead...can they? :hmm:

With Denny's death confirmed, I have to re-iterate how IMO her character has been badly treated/under utilised by the Writers/Producers. After the initial period when she was brought into the show to connect with/discover her "other family", this part of her life was largely ignored. She was then attached to the Braxton storyline by being "enlisted" as part of Casey's dramatic exit plot. After she split from Ash earlier this year (to make way for the Phoebe/Ash/Kyle saga), it would have been great to see her re-engage for stories with her family, but obviously the Producers believed her usefulness was over, so instead she has gradually been phased out - as I have previously commented on elsewhere on the forum. It seems to me that by not heavily including her in any decent storylines of late, they believed it would somehow lessen the impact of her departure. Also, we saw the memorial dinner Denny held for Casey the other week on supposedly the anniversary of his death. However, the actual day this went to air in Aust last year was Sept 15 (he was shot right at the end of the episode) & Sept 16 (when he actually died). It looks like Denny will die in the episodes airing either next Mon Sept 14 or Tue Sept 15 - basically a year to the day after Casey. Is this a morbid sense of humour being shown by the Producers? I am sure they rather see it as a nice "book-end" to her story! All just my opinion.

Anyway, best of luck to Jessica Grace Smith in her future endeavours - & goodbye Denny RIP!

(this is an article from Daily Mail about Jessica's next project where she will be directing a short story/film)

With Denny's death confirmed, I have to re-iterate how IMO her character has been badly treated/under utilised by the Writers/Producers.

It's entirely possible her bad treatment is due to an issue she has with the show. It's possible that she has/had a problem with one of the writers so they wrote her character badly. I mean, in the past few months Denny has barely gotten any screen time and I forget she's even on the how half the time. There was even a lot of stuff with Zac and Leah where she didn't even attend (engagement party, beach banquet, etc).

That, plus considering actors people seem to get contracted on the show for ~3 years - Jess has only been on the show for (I think) just over 1 year, so I wouldn't be surprised if she had her contract terminated or something similar because she had a problem with one of the producers.

I agree, you may well be correct bobdaoeach.

I believe that Jessica has been on the show since early 2014, so she has been around for 18 months or so, which is only about half of the usual 3 year contract for most regular cast, as you mention. Most "guest" roles are usually for 6 months or less (eg the character of Sophie), so I assume that she did have a full time cast contract, but has left before her term was up? If that was the case, it will be interesting to see if the reason for her exit comes out ie whether it was her decision to leave early (possibly because she was frustrated with Dennys lack of development?), or it was because of the scenario you have suggested, or it was a mutual decision where they all agreed that the character had run its course etc.

Denny's final scenes will go to air this week, but as it has been mentioned previously, Jessica actually finished filming quite a few months ago now. In the Daily Mail article I posted above (11 Sept), this new project she is involved with hasn't even gone into production yet. At this stage they are still trying to raise their own funding so it can (hopefully) go ahead sometime soon. From the article, it appears to be a pet project that Jessica has wanted to do for a while, but I am not sure whether she just decided to leave H&A to do it. With her now having left the show, she obviously has taken the opportunity to try & get it off the ground. There are a couple of possible reasons why she left, as discussed earlier, & it may well have been Jessica's decision to leave H&A, but I am not sure if it was just to do this project.

g'day ladies & gents, only started watching home & away a couple of months ago and only discovered this site about a week ago. Really enjoying the things the spoilers people are posting up because I'm not one that can stay patient.
Anyway, I am pretty excited to see what happens with Denny, found something interesting though. Just saw an updated promo of the one they showed on Tuesday where the person seems to be digging a hole out in the scrub, they get a lot closer to the person with the shovel. I've noticed that the person with the shovel seems to be sporting high heels (and sorry if I offend anyone for being sexist here) that person looks exactly how girls shovel (if you have ever noticed when men shovel they tend to not only put the shovel in the ground, they will place there foot on the top of the shovel for extra weight so they can dig further into the ground) which leads to me think that Charlotte is the one that kills Denny.

As I said before, sorry if I offended anyone with my sexist comment before, but would like to say a thanks to all the people with all their insight comments on this site

I live in NSW and the only difference we have is no double episode on Thursday night.
There is still an episode on Monday night, but there is nothing to do with the browniows on 7mate or 7two.

Hey John, welcome to Soapboards. I'm glad you like it here. :)

I'll have you know I'm a female and I've always used my foot when digging!

Sure it depends on what you are digging .. right?? Will be different from digging yourself out of a hole than to digging a grave for someone, right? :D

By the way John, welcome and I am not offended either :D

Hi John (& welcome as well!). Are you referring to this current weeks episodes (Sept 14-17) or to the week of these spoilers (Sept 28-Oct 1)? I am in Sydney, & my electronic TV guide (which only shows 1 week in advance), has now been changed to show there will only be a single episode on this Thurs night (Sept 17). I think Ch7 may be doing this to bring forward The X Factor (which follows H&A) to 7:30pm on that night to go up against the Series Finale of the Bachelor Aust on CH10 which also starts at 7:30. The Brownlow's (which are usually televised in Sydney - on 7Mate) are on Monday Sept 28. Sorry if I am confusing things!!

AUST PACE SPOILER ALERT!! With regard to your post on the promo, I am with you John, it looks like the person is wearing high heeled (girls?) boots, & I am sure right at the end you can just see her blonde hair (even though it is dark). Given all the spoilers about Charlotte's behaviour in the coming couple of weeks, surely it is her! Like bobdaoeach mentioned on the Spoilers for Sept 14-17 thread, I really hope that the other promo which shows Kat taking a couple of wild "shots in the dark", is just to throw us off the scent. I couldn't stand it if it turns out that Kat "accidently" shoots Denny - surely they wouldn't go down that route!! (After last weeks episode, when someone said that the police believe if they can find the safe stolen from the diner they might be able to catch whoever broke in - & lead to Marilyn being electrocuted - I have been wondering whether the promo of the person digging in the bush is actually Charlotte burying the safe (rather than a body!) so Hunter won't get caught, & the promo of Kat firing her gun will actually be her "accidently" shooting Denny. Again, surely not!).

well there we go, that was quick. Bit dissapointed by it all, wouldve rather seen Denny take the safe and run off with it, Charlotte obviously panicking either chases her down and runs her over or shoots her, makes it a lot more intense than an accidental death which hasn't really left me on the edge of my seat.

ik, the whole episode i was like "isnt denny supposed to die there has been nothing alluding to it' and then right at the end she dies, and dont even get me started on how dumb her death looked. she literally just liek gracefully fell on the floor and looked like a doll when she was dead........

AUST PACE!! Well, we now know how Denny dies & it was basically an accident (although in a "struggle" with Charlotte over the safe) rather than the "brutal murder" that was publicised! (& thank goodness Kat wasn't involved!). It will be interesting to see Charlotte go about trying to cover everything up. As Aussiedal mentioned earlier, it will be hard to imagine Denny being missed for too long, especially as Hannah tells her to ring as soon as she arrives overseas & the twins say they are looking forward to her online posts!

At the end of the episode, instead of a promo on what is coming up in the next episode, there was a few quick snippets of a some storylines coming up soon. Looks like some interesting (hopefully!) times ahead.
