I reckon its too much of a David build up for it to be him, whatever happens to Callum.

I Reckon if its a case that Callum is murdered. Bethany will be the killer just a theory.

Todd could act out revenge for his brother´s attack ..... To be honest, I don´t really want the Platts or Tony or Jason to turn into killers, I would rather that Callum gets locked up for his crimes, he is not worth it for the Platts etc to turn into criminals :nono:

I agree that's a distinct possibility. She's certainly a changed girl since discovering Callum's true personality.
Welcome to Soapboards. :)

I agree Perdy, but as this is the live episode we're talking about, the ante will be upped to the max. I just don't see Callum being carted of by the police as a dramatic enough climax to this special and highly expensive episode. However, you all know I've been known to be wrong one or twice before... http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-ashamed001.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php)
After Thursday's episode I agree Todd is now a contender to do something nasty to Callum.
I've also read that Terence Maynard is starring in panto this Christmas (in Sunderland), so unfortunately it seems likely Tony's leaving Weatherfield in the not-too-distant future.

does anyone know how long in real time
the live episode and after effects
are meant to cover.??
In Wed episode " residents saying goodbye
to Lloyd & Andrea"
In.Fri 2nd episode " Steve & Lloyd take a walk
down memory lane"
As a lot will no doubt happen -it could just
cover a few hours. And Steve be taking them
to airport etc where they are leaving from.
Im glad they have a good chat before Lloyd
leaves!
I think the scenes in cab office of Steve
Lloyd (and Eileen) were very good and funny.
It makes a believable friendship!!

Round-up:
David and Kylie are shocked to hear that Callum has been released on bail. Fearing Callum is out for revenge, Kylie, David, Sarah and Bethany agree to stay in pairs, while Gail takes Max and Lily to stay at Audrey’s. Callum offers David and Kylie a deal: get him £20,000 by tonight and he will be gone for good, otherwise he will hurt them. With David remaining defiant, Callum has a devastating plan which will change the Platt family forever. Cathy whisks Roy away on a mystery birthday trip to Blackpool, unaware of the painful memories the resort holds for him. As Cathy prepares to tell him how she feels, the pain becomes too much for Roy. Tony stops Jason from taking further revenge on Callum, and is pleasantly surprised when Todd offers to step in and help him seek justice. Andrea and Michelle prepare Lloyd’s surprise leaving party at the pub. Andrea is determined to reconcile Lloyd and Steve, and in a desperate bid to get them talking, she and Michelle lock the warring pair in the cellar of the Rovers. Unwilling to beg for release, the men end up reminiscing as they help themselves to the stock. Sally announces that she and Tim are marrying in the Bistro, while Yasmeen and Anna discuss Gary and Alya’s big day. In front of an oblivious Tim, Sophie makes digs at Sally about her kiss with Kevin, unaware that Anna has heard everything.

"While people are actually filming the live episodes we'll be running behind the scenes trying to get to where we need to be. Hopefully we'll make it on time on the night."

The secret comes under threat shortly after Sally (Sally Dynevor) and her fiancé Tim Metcalfe announce that they'll be tying the knot at the Bistro in a week's time.
Sally's happy news irritates her daughter Sophie (Brooke Vincent), who can't resist making digs about her recent kiss with Kevin and how she still hasn't come clean with Tim.
A worried Sally urges Sophie to continue keeping quiet about what she knows, but their revealing conversation is overheard by Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) - who is thrilled by the juicy gossip.
Anna's discovery paves the way for Sally and Kevin's big secret to be exposed to Tim in the show's upcoming live episode, which airs in an hour-long slot on September 23.

Coronation Street bad boy Callum Logan plans to flee the country in a tense double bill tonight (September 21).
When the police release Callum (Sean Ward) on bail due to the lack of evidence against him, his main concern is getting himself out of trouble as he's still facing demands for cash from dangerous Denton.
Knowing that time is running out, Callum gives the Platts one last ultimatum to get him the £20,000 he needs by the end of the day. As he's too scared to return home in case Denton finds him there, Callum also orders his sidekick Gemma Winters (Dolly-Rose Campbell) to retrieve his passport from the flat.

Everything seems to be falling into place for Callum when he receives a text from Kylie's phone revealing that his money is ready, but it's actually Sarah who sent the text in a bid to lure him into a trap at the Platt house. How will Callum react when he realises he's been duped?
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
Read more: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s3/coronation-street/news/a669495/potd-coronation-streets-callum-logan-plans-his-escape-from-weatherfield.html#ixzz3mL9PxEUZ
Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien will have one of the trickiest scenes in the soap's live episode this week.
The actress's character Sarah Platt is heading for a scary showdown with her dangerous ex-boyfriend Callum Logan, who turns violent with her in the hour-long special.
Tonight's Coronation Street double bill (September 21) will see Sarah lure Callum to the Platt house, hoping to record their conversation and get him to say something incriminating.
Callum (Sean Ward) quickly realises that he's been duped and Wednesday's live broadcast will pick up at exactly this point, meaning that O'Brien has the first scene and the first line.
Speaking of the challenge to come, she told the Daily Star: "The scene with Callum is very physical and it's taken a while to rehearse to get right. It's been really taking it out of me. As an actor Sean is very focused and he really gets in the zone when Callum is menacing the Platts.
"Put it this way, having to play that I'm scared really isn't a challenge! Callum's a very intimidating character and when he's threatening Sarah, I can really feel Sarah's fear.
"The fight scene we've been rehearsing for the live is full-on. Even in rehearsals I can feel the adrenaline pumping and I come off set shaking, so I can't imagine what it's going to feel like when we go live.
"We've been rehearsing it in sections so it will be great to put it all together and really go for it. I just really hope I don't fall over. That's my biggest fear."
It's been a tough few months for the Platt family as Callum's presence has threatened to tear them apart, but Wednesday's live special will see them united when the villain leaves them with nowhere else to run.
O'Brien said: "Kylie and Sarah is an interesting relationship because they've never really warmed to each other. Especially with Sarah getting with Kylie's ex Callum as soon as she arrived and almost facilitating his reign of terror in the early stages.
"But something in the live episode brings them together and suddenly they have a common interest. If they can pull together, they could have a chance."
Coronation Street's Kylie, David and Sarah Platt will all be left terrified tonight (September 25) as a police detective quizzes them about Callum Logan.
The trio are currently embroiled in a grisly cover-up after Kylie killed Callum in the ITV soap's explosive live episode on Wednesday night.
As a new day dawns on the cobbles, David (Jack P Shepherd) takes the lead in dealing with the sinister situation as he makes plans to dispose of Callum's body in the canal.
David needs to find the right moment to move the corpse without being caught out, but when he spots how much Sarah (Tina O'Brien) is cracking under the pressure, he lies to her by claiming that the job has already been done.
Just when Sarah thinks she can breathe a sigh of relief, the Platts are horrified when DS Tyler arrives at Number 8 and explains that Callum's car has been found burnt out.
DS Tyler insists on knowing when each of the Platts last saw Callum, which leaves everyone nervous apart from an oblivious Gail.
As Kylie, David and Sarah all look like they'd rather be anywhere else, will DS Tyler smell a rat?

Well this is all happening a bit fast! A police detective interviewing the Platts about Callum less than 24 hours after he's died on the strength a burnt-out car (how do they even know it's his so quickly? The licence plates would almost certainly have been unrecognisable), plus his mother looking for him already?
I could understand if these things were happening on Monday after Callum had been gone a few days. He doesn't even live his mother! I hope there's more to it than the car, which as I said on another thread is common occurrence in some areas and not something detectives would devote much time to unless there were other suspicious circumstances.
It's probably artistic licence to pile pressure on the Platts and I must admit I'm looking forward to seeing how they cope. It doesn't look like David will have a chance to move the body...

His mother phoned him on his mobile though shortly after he got koshed ... He might have been close to his mother and returned her call as soon as possible in the past and she would be aware of his feud with the Platts beause of Max ... I agree with the police being rather quick to act ...
