Yes, it sounds like the police come for Tracy the episode after Carla contemplates suicide on the cliff edge, which fits in with Tracy telling the truth in desperation to stop Carla jumping (who presumably then goes to the police).

Which will be very good! but will Tracy then
back track or refuse to confess.
S Blackburn has said no real punishment
as no evidence and Tracy not affected by
public opinion!!
Its a good thing if Carla is relieved of her
guilty feelings.
Hoping it the rest of the story isnt fudged!

Round-up:
Robert urges Tracy to come clean about the fire. A drunken Carla drives off to a quarry with Tracy in her car. Tracy finally reveals the truth and wonders what Carla will do next. The police arrest Tracy, who denies her involvement with the fire and says that she only made the confession to stop Carla committing suicide. Alya wreaks her revenge by telling Carla that she has got a job with Macnee’s and will not be giving any more orders to Underworld. When Tracy’s confession comes to light, Alya tries to put things right in a bid to get her job back. Nick attacks Robert for helping Tracy and fires him from the bistro. As Leanne prepares to report him missing, Simon reappears, but is mortified when he learns that Zeedan knows everything. Zeedan tells Simon that he will be staying with them until he can be trusted. David and Kylie hope to get rid of Gail, but she devises a plan to convert the garage into a granny flat. Unable to get hold of Kylie, Max is handed over to Callum when he is taken ill at school. A nervous Max tells Callum he no longer wants him as his dad, leading Callum to make a shocking demand of Kylie and David. Anna and Tim are left in shock when the Hodges fail to return from Canada with Miley. Jason returns home from hospital, vowing revenge on Callum. Andrea reveals to Eileen that she is pregnant. Fiz and Tyrone pull together as Hope undergoes more tests.

the story would go-even before Kal died!!

Unfortunately Leanne has form for this, having had relationships with both Jamie and Danny Baldwin. Let's hope she's matured a lot since those days. I haven't noticed any signs of attraction between her and Zeedan personally, but maybe I'm subconsciously blocking them out... :sick:

Coming up on Coronation Street, Tracy Barlow's luck runs out as she finally gets her comeuppance for starting the Victoria Court fire earlier this year.
The Weatherfield residents will watch in shock as Tracy (Kate Ford) is arrested under suspicion of murdering Kal Nazir and Maddie Heath.
The dramatic moment comes after Tracy tells Carla Connor that it was actually her who started the fire, during an emotional showdown between the pair.
Tracy makes her confession after Robert Preston tells her that she has to come clean to Carla about the fire as he can't bear to watch her torture herself any longer.
After Tracy finds Carla knocking back wine, Tracy climbs in the passenger seat of the businesswoman's car but is stunned when she suddenly drives them off to a quarry. Teetering dangerously on the edge, Carla talks about the guilt she feels for Kal and Maddie's deaths.
However, when Carla takes a step towards the edge of the quarry, Tracy yells at her to stop, finally confessing that she was responsible for the fire.
Following her confession, Tracy is on tenterhooks as she wonders whether Carla will go to the police, while Carla ponders whether it will simply be her word against Tracy's if she does.
When the police do eventually arrive for Tracy, it becomes clear that someone has reported her, but was it Carla or has someone else decided that Tracy needs to pay for her actions?

Robert tells Tracy that she has to come clean to Carla about the fire, as he can't bear to watch her torture herself any longer. Finding Carla knocking back wine, Tracy climbs in the passenger seat of her car. Begging her to stop blaming herself, Tracy points out that the fire was just a horrible accident.
Tracy is stunned when Carla suddenly puts the car into gear and announces that they're going for a ride. As Carla drives erratically, Tracy worries for their safety, especially when Carla stops by a quarry. Teetering dangerously on the edge of the quarry, Carla talks about Kal and Maddie's deaths.
Meanwhile, nursing her head injury, Leanne enlists Zeedan's help in tracking Simon down. Simon is hiding out in Amy's wardrobe but when a worried Leanne quizzes her, Amy lies and denies all knowledge. Amy reports back to Simon in the wardrobe that Leanne is downstairs crying. Will Simon come clean?
Elsewhere, worn out after a sleepless night, David and Kylie suggest to Gail that she should move out so Lily can have her own room. Will Gail agree?
Also, after a very successful meeting with Underworld client Heather, Alya asks her for some advice.

Tracy is panicking as she wonders whether Carla has gone to the police. She tells Robert how Carla was about to take her own life until she stopped her by admitting that she caused the fire. Robert is shocked.
At the same time, Nick and Michelle listen with horror as Carla tells them about Tracy's confession. Nick insists that Carla should go to the police but she is reluctant, pointing out that it's just her word against Tracy's.
Soon afterwards in The Rovers, Tracy nervously eyes Carla. When Alya arrives, announcing to Carla that she has landed a job with Macnee's and Underworld can wave goodbye to any more orders from them, Carla realises this is revenge for Kal's death. On the edge, will Carla reveal that Tracy started the fire? And how will Tracy react when the police arrive and arrest her on suspicion of murder?
Meanwhile, with the Hodges due back from Canada, Anna is looking forward to seeing Miley. However, Tim calls round and finds their house is empty and up for let. Anna phones Josie, keen to know what's going on.
Elsewhere, Roy drops Fiz, Tyrone and Hope at the hospital for Hope's biopsy test.
Also today, Zeedan talks to Simon about his relationship with his own mum and how he now regrets some of the awful things he did. Leanne is touched.
Finally, Eileen, Tony and Todd collect Jason from hospital. Still in a lot of pain, Jason leans on Todd and their rift is clearly healing.

As Tracy is bundled out of the pub, it becomes clear who called the police. Ken watches horrified and Amy screams as her mother is driven away. Tracy is interviewed by the police, but she refuses to answer their questions and remains adamant that she had nothing to do with the fire.
In the Bistro, Carla tells Nick that she just wants her life to get back to normal. Carla thanks Nick for standing by her even when she was at her lowest ebb, but she reckons that Tracy will walk free as there's no supporting evidence. As Tracy cries alone in a police cell, will she be charged?

Meanwhile, Anna and Tim break the news to Faye that the Hodges have taken Miley to live in Canada, but they're shocked by Faye's apparent disinterest. Anna is upset, while a devastated Tim blames himself for supporting the Hodges at the outset. But what is Faye's true feeling about Miley's move overseas?
Elsewhere, Tyrone heads home with Roy, leaving Fiz to look after Hope in the hospital. Roy and Tyrone celebrate Ruby's birthday and Fiz sings Happy Birthday over the phone from the hospital.
Also today, Leanne, Sharif and Zeedan try to make sense of what has happened as the news of Tracy's arrest sinks in.
Finally, as Eileen fusses over him, Jason confides in Todd that he intends to find Callum and have his revenge.

Kylie is perturbed to find messages on her phone from the school, saying that Max is ill.
Having had no answer from Kylie, the school have contacted Callum. Along with his mum Marion, Callum collects a frightened Max in his car.

Meanwhile, still under police interrogation, Tracy sticks to her story that she only confessed to starting the fire in order to prevent Carla from taking her own life. Will the police be able to pin anything on her, or will Tracy walk free?
Elsewhere, Carla returns to Underworld a new woman. Aidan is taken aback when she plants a kiss on his cheek and thanks him for saving the factory. Alya grovels to Carla and Aidan for her job, assuring them that she has smoothed things over with Macnee's. Will Carla agree to forgive and forget?
Also, Liz tells Eileen that she is taking things slowly with Lloyd, but is relishing being with a decent man for a change. When Eileen confirms that Andrea has moved out of Number 11, Lloyd tries to look relieved. But Eileen is stunned when Andrea later turns up on her doorstep in tears, revealing that she is pregnant with Lloyd's child!
Finally, Tony assures Jason they will wreak revenge on Callum once he is back to full fitness, and can Tim and Anna do anything to persuade the Hodges to bring Miley back home?

The Platts are horrified to realise that Callum has taken Max from school. Back at the flat, a nervous Max refuses to speak to Callum. Things get worse for Callum when Gemma arrives and reveals that a dangerous thug called Denton is after him for money. Callum pales at this grave news but is distracted when Max nags him to take him home. Losing his temper, Callum snaps at him and Max tells Callum that he no longer wants him as a dad.
Realising he has finally lost his son, Callum forms a plan. Kylie and David are relieved when Callum brings Max back to Number 8, but their emotion turns to horror when Callum makes a shocking demand.

Meanwhile, with only Carla's word against Tracy's, Nick guesses that Robert is covering up the truth. Disgusted, he punches Robert and fires him from the Bistro. Carla is annoyed at Nick for hitting Robert, wanting to put the whole sorry business to bed. Can she convince him to re-hire Robert? And as Robert is caught in the firing line, will Tracy pay the price for her crime?
Elsewhere, Andrea asks Eileen to say nothing of her pregnancy while she decides what to do. When Michael finds the positive pregnancy test and assumes it's Eileen's, Andrea is forced to set him straight. Michael and Eileen urge her to tell Lloyd, but will Andrea agree?
Also, Anna and family are delighted when Faye gets the lead role in the school play, while Jason refuses to rest and vows to take revenge on Callum by himself.
Kylie and David Platt face fresh torment at the hands of Callum Logan on Coronation Street next week when the villain steals his son Max.
The situation unfolds after Max falls unwell at school, and when his teacher fails to get hold of Kylie, it is Callum who is called instead.
Arriving at the school with his own mother in tow, Callum (Sean Ward) uses the situation to his advantage and whisks Max away in his car.

However, their relief turns to horror when Callum makes a shocking demand and makes it clear to Kylie and David that they should do as he asks, or they will regret it. What does Callum have in store for them?

The bad news comes as Anna (Debbie Rush) is excitedly awaiting the Hodges' return from Canada so that she can spend some time with baby Miley again.
Things aren't looking too good when Tim Metcalfe reveals that he visited Greig and Josie's house and found that it was mysteriously up for let. To make matters worse, they're no longer returning any phone calls either.
When Anna finally gets through to Josie to demand answers, she is shaken to learn that the Hodge family aren't returning to the UK and never intended to. Will the Windasses ever see Miley again?

My money is on him - revenge for something she did. Actually - does anyone know Tracy was married to Robert - have we ever heard him mentioned?

Robert was a carpet fitter- going out with
Tracey- they decided to marry in London
but changed venue to Weatherfield.(cheaper)
After marriage they moved to London.
Tracey had an affair-they split up.
Deirdre tried to persuade her to return
to him-but shs.wouldnt. This was in 2002.
The character Robert was played by a different
actor and was only in Corrie for a few episides.
From the little I remember Robert seemed
brighter than Tracy. Shes crafty and
manipulative but not above average intelligence?"

Coronation Street bad boy Callum Logan changes tactics tonight (September 11) as he gives the Platt family a tempting offer to get rid of him once and for all.
Callum (Sean Ward) decides to give up on the battle for his son Max when he sneakily picks the youngster up from school and gets a frosty reception, leading him to realise that Max will never forgive him for beating up Jason Grimshaw.
As a more dangerous thug called Denton is demanding money from Callum, he decides that being a father to Max is a lost cause and comes up with a plan to use him as a bargaining tool instead.
Paying a visit to Kylie (Paula Lane) and David (Jack P Shepherd), a defeated Callum tells the couple that he'll give up his rights to Max and leave them alone forever if they pay him £20,000. How will Kylie and David react?

great together- theyve written his character a bit
strangely recently- but that neednt mean Sally &
Tim will be split up permanently as you say.
The wedding plans are going ahead. SB has hinted
at( not smoothly) - but thats usual producer hype.
Your idea about Anna falling for Tim- is a good one.
