Round-up:

Tracy is still struggling with her guilt over the fire. Seeing how upset she is, Ken gives her the afternoon off. When she turns up at the Bistro, Robert surprises her with a new dish he has made, but she explodes and storms off. Robert follows her and Ken tells her she should grab love when she can. Later she finds herself strangely jealous when she sees another customer flirting with Robert and seizes the moment, laying her cards on the table. Her joy is short-lived, however, when she wakes up after a night of passion. Ken tells her that Deirdre has left her £80,000 – to be held in trust for Simon and Amy. Simon sees red when Leanne bans him from going to football practice and kicks her before storming off. In a bid to smooth things over, Leanne takes Simon and his mates out to lunch, but things get out of hand after he steals a bottle of vodka from behind the bar. Andrea faces a dilemma when her daughter calls, desperate for some cash. Sophie is becoming more suspicious of Sally and Kevin and tries to probe her mother. She is shocked when Sally bites Mary’s head off for making a suggestion about the hen night. Steve is miserable when he has to hand Rover back to his real owner. When Steph overhears Maria arranging to meet a man in a car park, she hurries over to the garage to tell Luke. The two head off in pursuit, only to discover what Maria is really up to.

I suppose we will find out when.episode is
shown- but where did Dierdre get. £80,000
from. I suppose it must be an insurance
policy?? But premiums would have been steep!

Neither she nor Ken have worked for years.
The only work Ken did that could have given
him an occupational pension was Teaching
but that wasnt for that long.

They had to mortgage the house to.pay
for legal services in Tracys appeal against
the murder charge.
And Blanche left her money to Tracy.

Still its good its going to Simon &Amy
and is in trust so Tracy shouldnt be
able to get her mitts on it.!!

Over on Coronation Street, Leanne Tilsley's attempts to mend her troubled relationship with her stepson Simon will backfire badly.

Leanne (Jane Danson) will suffer another violent attack at home later this month, as Simon angrily kicks her when she bans him from football practice following more bad behaviour.

Afterwards Simon (Alex Bain) apologises to Leanne and admits that he is struggling to control his temper, so she tries to smooth things over between the two of them by suggesting that he should invite his friends for lunch at the Bistro.

Leanne is pleased when Simon's outing with his mates appears to be going well, but she doesn't notice him sneakily steal a bottle of vodka from behind the bar.

As Simon and his friends become increasingly drunk, Leanne is horrified to discover the empty bottle under the table. When Leanne later confronts Simon at home, will he be able to control his fury in his drunken state?

It used to be Sophie and Maddie quite often. Amy too. Soaps are guilty of having family members as friends almost, rather than bringing in other characters. We also get friendships with large age gaps because there aren't that many young characters (Faye and Craig is one with 3-4 years difference.)

I presume they'll disappear quickly once it suits the storyline. I don't recall us ever hearing what happened to Faye's friend Grace Piper after they were questioned by the police. She turned on Faye so one would have thought she'd have been leading the queue to poke fun at Faye once she got pregnant.

Overcome with guilt about the fire, Tracy gives a bemused Sophie £200 towards Maddie's memorial. Seeing how upset Tracy is, Ken tells her to take the afternoon off and a grateful Tracy slopes off to the Bistro.

When Robert surprises her with a new dish he has created, Tracy explodes and storms out, closely followed by a confused Robert. Is the pressure getting to her?
Meanwhile, Simon is grumpy and rows with Leanne. Trying to assert her authority, Leanne bans Simon from football practice. In a rage, Simon kicks her hard before locking himself in his room. Later, Leanne is furious to discover that Simon has defied her by turning up to football and going out with his mates regardless. Zeedan's curiosity is piqued when he spots the bruise on Leanne's leg.

Elsewhere, Lloyd proudly shows off to Andrea how much a couple of his Northern Soul records have fetched online. Suddenly Andrea receives a call from her daughter Jess. Lloyd is unsympathetic when Andrea explains to him that Jess has run into some debt and needs her mum to bail her out. Knowing she has to help her daughter, Andrea rings Jess back and tells her she'll have her money in a couple of hours - but where does she plan on finding the cash?

Also, Sophie grows suspicious of Sally and Kevin.

Finally, Maria hatches a plan when Luke tells her that he wants to take her on holiday but can't afford to go.

Tracy starts to tell Robert that she has done some terrible things, but he puts Tracy's fragile state down to Deirdre's death.

Tracy then catches a customer flirting with Robert and storms out again, but Ken advises her to grab love when she can. On a mission, Tracy marches into the Bistro and Robert is stunned when she tells him that she wants to be with him, but is it too little too late?

Robert is stunned when Tracy reveals her feelings

Meanwhile, when Zeedan questions Leanne about the bruise on her leg, she lies and tells him that she walked into the dishwasher door. When Simon returns home, he apologises to Leanne and tells her that sometimes he can't control his anger. Leanne tries to hide her concern as she gives Simon a hug.

Elsewhere, suspicious Sophie takes Sally to The Rovers and demands to know what's wrong with her. Sally brushes it off, telling her that she is just stressed out with the wedding. When Sally gives Mary short shrift over her hen party ideas, Sophie continues to probe her mum. Will she break Sally, or can she keep her counsel?

Also, Andrea tells Jess that she has transferred the money, but when Lloyd later tells her that he wants to help and will sell some of his records, why does Andrea feel so guilty?

Finally, Luke is suspicious of Maria when she tells him that she is popping into town.

In a bid to smooth things over between her and Simon, Leanne suggests that he should invite his friends for lunch at the Bistro. Leanne is pleased when Simon appears to be enjoying himself but doesn't notice when he steals a bottle of vodka from behind the bar.

As Simon and his friends become increasingly drunk, Leanne is horrified to discover the empty bottle under the table. Back at home, an angry Leanne hasn't the patience for Simon's excuses, but is Simon able to control his fury in his drunken stupor?

Meanwhile, having spent the night with Robert, a loved-up Tracy is elated and Ken is pleased to see her happy again. However, when Ken mentions that Deirdre has left her £80,000 life insurance policy in trust of Simon and Amy, Tracy is put out. When Tracy gets back to Barlow's Buys, she is even more deflated to find that Tony has dumped a load of stock in the shop before doing a runner.

Elsewhere, a confused Lloyd tells Steve that his most valuable record is missing from his collection. When he later tells Andrea that he is confused about the record's whereabouts and that it must have been stolen, Andrea tells him he must have misfiled it away somewhere. Does Andrea know more than she's letting on?

Also today, Steve has a heavy heart as he goes to deliver Rover to her rightful owner.

Finally, Maria is offended when Steph tells her that Luke thinks she is going off him.

Airs Friday, Aug 14 2015 at 19:30 BST on ITV

Ken is shocked to hear from Rita about Simon's behaviour in the Bistro. Leanne is furious when she catches Simon trying to sneak off to football practice and tries to block his path. Simon is determined to go to football and grabs Leanne by the hair. Desperate to get him off her, Leanne pushes him off and Simon stumbles and cuts his arm.

Horrified over her actions, Leanne rushes Simon to the medical centre. When Ken invites them both round to the house to ask them what's been going on, will they hold their counsel or will Leanne finally find a confidant?

Meanwhile, Lloyd answers Andrea's mobile and is left gobsmacked by what he hears. Andrea is mortified when Lloyd confronts her about the record dealer who phoned her, wanting to know if she had any more rare records to sell. Knowing she has been rumbled, Andrea begs Lloyd to understand why she did what she did - but can Lloyd forgive her betrayal?

Elsewhere, when Steph overhears Maria arranging to meet a man in a car park, she hurries over to the garage to break the news to Luke that she must be cheating on him. Wanting to catch Maria in the act, they head off to the car park and when they get there Steph confronts Maria. When Maria reveals what she's actually up to, how will Steph and Luke react?

Also, Steve is delighted when he opens the back door to find Rover looking up at him, but Liz tells him that he has to return the dog to her rightful owner.

Finally, Robert tells Tracy he intends to find somewhere new to live.

Simon begs Leanne not to tell Ken the truth about his behaviour. Not knowing what else she can do, Leanne reluctantly agrees and keeps quiet as Simon tells Ken that he hurt his arm whilst messing about.

Has Simon started to see the error of his ways, or will he lose his temper knowing he's got his own way with his mum once again?

Meanwhile, Lloyd catches Andrea as she is loading her things into a taxi. He is stunned when she tells him that she knows he will never forgive her so she has to go. Will Lloyd try to persuade her to stay, or will he let her slip away?

Elsewhere, Maria is fuming to think that Luke doubted her and storms off, but she thaws towards him when he owns up to his insecurities. Later, Maria is worried when Steph tells her that the last time Luke drove a rally car he ended up in hospital.

Also, Steve is saddened when Rover's owner Paula calls in the pub and takes 'Boo Boo' home.

Finally, Tracy suggests to Ken that Robert could move in with them but Ken isn't so sure. When Robert turns up at Number 1 with all of his belongings, it seems Tracy has taken matters into her own hands!

Was disapointed in Cathy bringing an item from the skip to Roys flat. Its his house not hers to bring stuff into. I know she has an illness but i didnt think she would do this

Pets never last long in soapland, it's a wonder anyone wants to have them. Steve having to give the dog back is a better storyline than one where it gets run over or just goes missing and is forgotten about by the next episode.

The Andrea and Lloyd stuff seems pointless seeing as they aren't splitting them up to keep Andrea in the show.

Hoarding is a serious mental illness and is very difficult to treat. It wouldn't be at all realistic if it were just forgotten about, and it wasn't anything personal against Roy. Playing music he hates and being generally insensitive is another matter!
