EastEnders fans will see the return of a familiar face this summer, as Libby Fox arrives back on Albert Square.
The youngest member of the Fox family, played by Belinda Owusu, will return to the soap for two episodes later this year.

Libby opens a card from Chelsea and a present from Patrick. Inside is a silver locket with a photo of Libby with Denise - Libby bursts into tears.

Owusu spoke to the BBC about her excitement, saying: "It's great to be back again! I'm always excited to see how Libby has grown and be back with the Fox family!"
Libby will be returning to celebrate her birthday with her family, but could there be more to her visit than she's revealing?
Libby moved to Albert Square in 2006 with her mother Denise, and featured in a high-profile storyline which saw her abusive father Owen Turner attempt to kill her.
She also had a long-term relationship with Darren Miller, before leaving the Square in 2010 to attend Oxford University.
She was last seen in Walford in May 2014, when she attended the funeral of Lucy Beale.

It would actually be quite clever if she did know something about Lucy. Libby appeared in that episode and I believe Denise left her an answer phone message in the final minutes. Perhaps Libby was out witnessing something to explain why she didn't answer her phone. It must be something which incriminates her a little if so I'd have thought, or someone has a hold over her in some way. Libby is a very moral person and would have said something before now. We were led to believe that Libby directed the taxi away from the funeral because she saw Ian with Jane outside of the church, but it could be for her own conscience too.

It's probably just another case of crews not being able to count/report accurately how many episodes it is. Perhaps it was intended to be two but the scenes were split over three during editing or something.
Corrie said Joni would be in four episodes but we had the unpleasant surprise of a fifth last night.

Yes, DTC has form for long-running secrets. We still don't know what Stacy's key opens over a year later!
I hope this is the start of a big storyline for Denise as she doesn't get enough screen time for my liking. I wonder if one of her kids is going to make a full time return? It wasn't obvious from the phone conversations between Libby and Chelsea whose problem they were discussing. I must admit I'd much prefer Libby's return than Chelsea's.

Was that the first time she'd mentioned it? She should've been doing so months ago, considering she is a rape victim herself. This whole thing where no one cares is so contrived.
I wonder if the presence of a suspected rapist will bother Ian when his mother (also a rape victim) is around. Nah, what am I talking about?
Ronnie must be losing her touch seeing as Dean hasn't wound up in a scrapyard yet.
Considering DTC's form, a jump the shark secret that Ronnie didn't actually miscarry Libby's half-sibling in 2009 really wouldn't surprise me.
I'm not sure if it's the first time Ronnie's mentioned the rape, but I wouldn't be surprised because Samantha Womack's had so much time off that Ronnie's barely been around to get involved in the storyline. As for Ian, he's made it clear he thinks Linda's lying, so I doubt he'll be too concerned about Dean being around Kathy.

I think Ronnie must have mentioned the rape before - though I can't remember when - because I had the feeling that she sided with Linda before.
