Round-up:

It is the morning after and Debbie and Ross, lying on a makeshift bed in the garage, are woken by a phone call. Moses is running a temperature and has had to be taken to hospital. Overwhelmed by guilt, Debbie rushes to see him – only to be told that he is going into intensive care and needs an operation. Back in the village, Carly is unconvinced by Ross’s alibi for the previous night, Megan wonders if Moses is Declan’s and Cain warns Debbie that he knows she is up to something. Then Charity turns up at the hospital accompanied by a prison guard, and Debbie is appalled by her apparent lack of concern. Debbie angrily tells her mother that the father has a right to know Moses is ill – but who is he? Jai and Rachel continue to clash over Archie and she is horrified when he brings a doctor round to examine the child. The court case sees further accusations and counter accusations hurled around, so Jai decides to up the ante, sending Leyla over to Rachel to return Archie’s teddy. What Rachel doesn’t know is that he has fitted the toy with a secret camera – but is Jai about to be hoist on his own petard? Chas demands some answers from Cain and Aaron. Aaron admits that Cain is blackmailing Robert, threatening to tell Chrissie about their affair. Chas pleads with Cain, explaining that splitting Chrissie and Robert up will only drive Aaron back into Robert’s arms. Vanessa confronts Kirin about the money, Bob is losing hope over Carly, and at the Dingles’ there is a hard decision to be made about the fate of Belle’s pony Hamish.

Yes, I also think it is Ross. After the 'Declan trying to kill her drama' Charity was helping Ross with the dodgy car stuff, so I reckon its definitely Ross. Furthermore it will break Debbie's heart so there is a good storyline, whilst also two such mischievous characters as Charity and Ross being parents will make interesting drama.

It's the morning after and Debbie and Ross are still asleep on a makeshift bed in the garage. At the same time, Pete is worried about Moses as he has a temperature. James tells him they need to take Moses to hospital immediately. On getting the call, a guilt-ridden Debbie rushes to meet them, but Moses needs to go into intensive care and needs further tests.

Cain warns Debbie that he knows she's hiding something, but when the doctor tells her that Moses needs an operation, her guilt becomes almost unbearable.

Meanwhile, Megan worries as she is still wondering if the baby is Declan's. Back in the village, Carly is unconvinced by Ross's alibi for last night but he manages to win her round.

Elsewhere, April is pleased to see that Laurel is moving back in, but Marlon and Laurel are awkward about the sleeping arrangements. Ashley drops by with a letter for Laurel and she worries, realising it's the results of her HIV test. Is she in the clear? Laurel is truthful with Marlon, who reassures her but remains troubled as he walks away.

Later, Marlon confides in Paddy about Laurel's HIV test and explains that he isn't sure he can share a bed with her. At the same time, Laurel tells Rhona her own worries. Will Marlon and Laurel be honest with each other?

Also today, Amelia is on a mission from Kerry and heads to the Dingles' to carry it out. Lisa later explains to an angry Joanie that Kerry just wants to reach out to her grandchild.

Finally, Rachel and Jai argue over Archie, with Rachel enjoying taking some power back. In response, Jai ups the ante.

Debbie is struggling to make a decision regarding Moses's operation when Charity arrives. She has a prison guard with her and is bristling with attitude. Debbie is furious with Charity, who seems unaffected by Moses's worrying condition. Debbie snaps, telling her that the baby's father should know his son is ill - but Charity vehemently disagrees. Later in the pub, Pete comforts an upset Debbie, but Ross can't take it and heads for the door.

Back at the hospital, Charity tell Moses that she is going to track his dad down for him and she heads to the pay phone to make the call. Charity hangs up the phone and tells the prison guard to expect company...

Meanwhile, Rachel is struggling with Jai's bully-boy tactics. Ruby is chuffed to see Ali home but Rachel is awkward. Ali breaks the ice, asking for a hug. At the same time, Jai suspects that Rachel lied when she told him Archie was ill and suggests there's only one way to find out. Later, Rachel is horrified when Jai brings a doctor round to see Archie. Rachel is seething with rage and Sam is deeply uneasy about the extent of Rachel's bitterness.

Elsewhere, Laurel and Marlon are still getting used to the new set-up. Marlon suggests they take the kids to the fair, both wanting to feel like a proper family again. But can they?

Also today, Kerry is chastised when Joanie returns the teddy bear she gave Kyle, telling her to stay away. Can Kerry heal the rift?

Rachel is stressing about the court hearing and takes it out on Sam. Ali has to remind Rachel that Sam is on her side. Sam confides in Tracy about Rachel's mood, but a watching Jai smirks when he sees Tracy giving Sam's hand a squeeze. When they arrive at the court, Jai goads Rachel, telling her that Sam was all over Tracy in the café. Rachel fumes, but will Jai's tactic work?

Later, Jai thanks Megan for supporting him at court and they kiss. A jealous Leyla watches on. When Megan goes, Jai forms a plan and asks Leyla to befriend Rachel. It's not long before Leyla is outside their house and she overhears a fracas inside. Leyla swiftly reports back to Jai, who assumes that Rachel has hit Archie. He is about to storm over, but Leyla stops him and insists they need proof.

Before long, Leyla returns and tells Rachel that she is there to return Archie's teddy. Unbeknownst to Rachel, the teddy now houses a secret filming device…

Meanwhile, Debbie tells Cain that Charity informed the father and he wasn't interested. She questions what kind of man could do that. Later at the hospital, Debbie is stunned when the doctor explains that Charity hasn't visited Moses today. The doctor has news about Moses and Debbie battles with her confusion and guilt.

Elsewhere, Kerry arrives to see Kyle, but Joanie worries over what she has agreed to. Lisa tells Joanie that kids are hard work and she should accept all the help she can get. Joanie doesn't seem convinced, but when Kerry offers her help when she spills the tea, Joanie is grateful.

Also today, Cain enjoys toying with Robert. Later, Robert asks to see the scrapyard books, threatening to pull out his investment. He and Aaron glare at each other, with battle lines drawn.

Jai continues to watch Rachel's actions from afar, but his anxiety grows when 'teddycam' only shows a skewed image. He heads to find Rachel, determined to see Archie and make sure he is okay. Arriving at the playground, Jai demands to have his son for a few hours. Rachel agrees, preoccupied as she attempts to make up with Sam.

Jai arrives back with Archie and checks him over for bruises, fighting back tears at the unhappy situation. Confessing his love to Leyla, he tells her they'll be together in a few more weeks. As they passionately kiss, they are unaware that the hidden teddycam continues to record. Will Jai fall victim to his own trap?

Meanwhile, when James says the grain auger is broken and a new one will cost thousands, Cain quickly decides who should foot the bill. He approaches Robert and coldly threatens to speak to Lawrence if he does not cough up. Later, Aaron is left reassured that Cain has finished toying with Robert, but how would Aaron react to hear of Cain's ongoing demands? And what if Robert were to put Aaron fully in the picture, exposing Cain's secrets too?

Elsewhere, Finn is horrified when an infuriated Ross tells him that he has slept with Debbie behind Pete's back.

Also, Zak knows there's something seriously wrong with Hamish and worries how Belle might take the news.

Finally, Carly comments to Vanessa about Kirin flashing the cash, causing her to wonder if Kirin is the mystery benefactor.

Rachel watches 'teddycam' as Jai tells Leyla how he has hidden money and plans to leave Megan. Rachel is pleased to have such incriminating evidence on Jai, though Sam suggests they should bide their time and think things through before acting on it.

Later at the pub, Megan tells Rachel that she and Jai could give Archie the life Rachel could only dream of. Will the now-empowered Rachel bite back and shatter Megan's illusion?

Meanwhile, Finn can't get his head around his brother's betrayal and Ross worries things are going to unravel. Finn arrives at Mulberry Cottage and Pete clocks his agitated state. As Pete asks what has happened, they are interrupted by Debbie. Will Finn reveal all?

Elsewhere, Chas demands answers from her brother and son. Aaron admits that Cain is blackmailing Robert by threatening to tell Chrissie about their affair. Cain shoots him a look of warning not to reveal any more. Annoyed, Chas explains to Cain that blackmailing Robert will only serve to bring him and Aaron back together. Will Cain take heed of Chas's request, or will he push Robert for one final settlement?

Also, Joanie suggests that Belle needs to know the truth about Hamish, insisting she is stronger than he thinks.

Finally, Vanessa confronts Kirin about the money, but he denies giving her it. A confused Vanessa can only think of one other person it could be, but who?

Trying to hide her heartbreak, Megan realises that Jai was with Leyla last night. She darkens as a plan starts to form. Once Jai has left for work, Megan makes a phone call and is grimly determined. Rachel is left encouraged when Megan tells her to be in the pub at dinnertime, hoping it'll be something which will work in her favour for Archie's custody case, but she is left confused by the lack of fireworks.

Megan fills Rachel and Sam in on her long term plan which would put Jai back in his box for good, but are they up for it?

Meanwhile, Finn worries there may be unfinished business between Debbie and Ross. Debbie does her best to downplay her uneasiness during her and Pete's meeting with the vicar. Soon afterwards, Debbie heads to meet Ross. She confronts him for being angry with her, but with the sexual tension undeniable, will the pair succumb to their desires once more?

Elsewhere, Carly refuses to call a plumber for a leak at the shop, determined that she can fix it and save money. At the same time, Brenda is keen to begin the build for Gennie's memorial playground, explaining that she will check all the accounts first. Bob panics but Carly interjects, buying them more time. But as the web of lies spins further, it's clear Bob is feeling out of his depth...

Also today, Zak plucks up the courage and tells Belle how seriously ill Hamish is. He explains that it would be best to have him put down, but is Belle strong enough to let him go?

Emmerdale has a must-see episode lined up next week as the father of Charity Dingle's newborn baby will be revealed.

Scenes airing on Tuesday, June 30 will see Charity (Emma Atkins) call the mystery man and order him to meet her - allowing viewers to see who it is for the first time.

The big moment takes place after baby Moses suddenly falls ill and has to be rushed to hospital.

When the doctors announce that Moses will need an urgent operation, jailed Charity is allowed to visit her son and joins her family at the hospital accompanied by a prison guard.

Charity arrives bristling with attitude

Charity walks straight into a row with her daughter Debbie (Charley Webb), who insists that the baby's father should know his son is ill.

Although Charity fiercely disagrees and resents Debbie's interference, it seems that her words have actually hit home once Charity gets a moment alone with Moses.

Charity tells Moses that she is going to track his dad down for him and heads to a nearby pay phone to make the call, before telling the prison guard to expect company. Who will join Charity at Moses's side?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Tuesday, June 30 at 7pm on ITV.

I accept Cain is most predictable in soap terms.

and not sure when actor starts paternity
leave.

If its Barton related( except for Ross) will be
fast - forwarding. At least they didnt get him
from Gormless Casting Agency.

One other possiblity - they dredge up one of
Charitys long- lost "old flames" who it
turns out she has had a one-night stand with
at appropriate time( off - screen). So not
new character-but could be a recast.

Plenty of quantity to pick from-not much quality.

Can't see it being Pete. He's too 'nice guy with morals' Lol And James has already done the dirty on Chas with Emma so can't see them putting him with Charity aswell. Plus there's been no real storyline I can think of between either of those two and Charity, to make it believeable that she could have slept with them. Not one that jumps to mind anyway.

I don't think it's Cain. I thought it might be Declan's at first because it could be what brought him back to the dales as he's AWOL, but if she calls the dad it can't be because she doesn't know where he is and wouldn't ring him given he tried to kill her lol

Declan raping her while he kidnapped and held her hostage would be more realistic..as I looked back spoilers and the timing would be about right. But if she calls the father, it can't be.
Timing with Cain doesn't match 100% either.
And Jai-it couldn't be..it was ages ago.

I was sure we had seen Charity & Ross in circs
where we knew sex had happened.So Im sure
he could be the father.But Charity and Debbie
have an "unusual" attitude to mother & daughter
relationships - they ve have had same boyfriend before.

Charity could have another motive for naming the
father wrongly- apart from causing trouble.

Jealousy or protection in keeping Debbie& Ross
apart for example.
I dont know what will happen but I think it more
than likely that the "facts" will change-my opinion.
