Unsettling means bad news. There is probably something wrong with the baby.

Ha ha...Twins with 2 different biological fathers..could it happen? Oh yes it could! It happened to Sammy on days of our lives and it happened recently to someone in America.I am not sure if the Neighbours writers would make it happen..but you never know.
My guess... it will probably be bad news and possibly the end of the pregnancy. Josh and Daniel will blame each other and Amber will dump them both for a while and head off to the Coast again and meet some random stranger and....maybe not.
My other theory which I have is.... Josh is not the father and the paternity test was wrong. A complication with the baby would require further tests at some point and it will be revealed that Josh is not compatible or something and then all things will point to it being Daniel's baby after all! Can you imagine the drama ?

I don't know, but with cats their kittens can have different fathers and are all born at the same time. Funny comparison, but still about pregnancy!

My dogs look so very different although are twin sisters .. vet said they more than likely have different dads but were born on the same day :D

I think truth is sometimes stranger than soap
fiction.
Superfetation is when a female who is pregnant
continued to ovulate and falls pregnant again
in a later monthly cycle- could be same or
different fathers.
Superfecundation is when a woman has sex
with 2 different men in same monthly cycle
and gives birth to twins. The fathers can be
different men.
There has been publicity about both situations
in the news in recent years( mainly US) and
court cases where regular boyfriend has paid
maintenance for both babies but DNA proved
another man was father of one and maintenance
reduced.
There are stats for both type of situation
and is.quite rare in humans. But happens
more frequently.in non-human mammals -
so Perdita pets vet could be right.
I often think.soap.writers scour news/ papers for
storyline ideas - perhaps this is an instance.
But as pointed out - the concern about the
pregnancy may not be twin- related!!

Isn't she leaving? What if they just have her die during childbirth and the child survives. There's medical conditions where you can bleed out/die when giving birth. What if she has that? Would be a good way to write her out of the show and have the baby survive.

Isn't that what happened to Bridget? I think Amber already has signs of pre-eclampsia, with raised blood pressure, dizzy spells and spots before her eyes.

I`m bored with this storyline already...probably because it involves Amber and Josh - two of the most pointless characters in years in my opinion. I don`t want Amber to be killed off though. It wouldn`t be fair on Lauren losing both a husband and a daughter.

I like the characters, but agree with you about Amber not being killed off. Wonder if she'll lose her baby though?

I hope she doesn`t lose her baby. I wouldn`t wish that on anyone..
Maybe becoming a Mother will make Amber grow up at last. It`s long overdue that she thinks about other people other then herself. Ditto Josh too.

I just watched the episode where Josh invites himself to Amber's first ultrasound. He's so unbearably smug I can't watch and Amber's pathetically wishy-washy letting him call the shots. Daniel deserves better! :wall:

I hope she doesn't too. Maybe she should concentrate on the babies / her own health and not who the Daddy is. The baby is hers at the end of the day.
I agree about smug Josh,, and yeah I don't know why Amber isn't telling him to go away,,,, its like he's just injected himself into Amber and Daniels relationship just because he's the father... what a joke, as if anyone would let that happen....

So ..one baby..Josh is still the father... some drama ahead.

It's a bug on this forum. It doesn't happen for me when I use the "Go Advanced" option instead of "Post Quick Reply" but that isn't true for everyone. Give it a try and see if it works for you. :)

Or... that the paternity test and /or gestation calculations are incorrect and she is further along? Lol
Neighbours bosses are lining up more heartbreak for Lauren Turner, as she learns that her husband Matt cheated on her before his death.
Lauren's old flame Brad Willis will drop the bombshell on her in emotional scenes, breaking a promise he made to keep the secret under wraps.
The drama plays out after Lauren (Kate Kendall) considers going on a date with a new love interest called Robin, a graphic designer who has been hired to do some work for Lassiters.
Lauren is clearly attracted to the newcomer, but she confides in Brad about how she fears she may be moving on too soon after Matt's tragic demise.
Unable to bite his tongue, Brad warns Lauren against putting Matt on a pedestal as she didn't know him as well as she thought.
Brad immediately regrets his honesty, but it's clear that he's already said too much when Lauren pushes for further answers - prompting him to reveal that Matt cheated on her with Sharon Canning.
A Neighbours insider teased: "Lauren is devastated by the revelation and decides to find out more by confronting Sharon herself, while Terese is furious when she finds out that Brad has broken his promise not to tell Lauren.
"As the news sinks in, will Lauren ever be able to think about Matt in the same way again?"
Neighbours airs these scenes next week in Australia and late June on Channel 5 in the UK.

Bring back the old Paul Robinson that everyone hates to , the one now is a soft bloke... And someone give that young mechanic bloke a hair cut , he looks like a chick.
