Audiences had their first glimpse of EastEnders' Fat Elvis tonight, despite the character having been in the soap for over ten years.

Just before Kat and Alfie rode off into the Spanish sunset, the often-referenced but never-seen trader and friend of Mo Harris finally made an appearance... when the Walford battle-axe revealed he had proposed to her.

If you were left with the feeling that you'd seen Mr Elvis before, you may well have done.

The actor playing the character, Shenton Dixon, is also a tribute artist and appeared on the 2014 series of BBC's The Voice UK.

One of his tributes was Louis Armstrong
who died in 1971 ( Elvis died in late 70s)
-so u may well be right!
He actually played Louis in a Miss Marple
some years ago. Playing/singing in an hotel
where she was stsying in 1940s/1950s
